Originally I had scheduled for Justin to come out this afternoon to take out my garbage disposal and then this morning I had a disaster while attempting to disconnect my washing machine. I texted Justin and asked if there was any way that he could come out this morning and fix my washer connections too. He replied immediately and said he could come out late morning and take care of my washer connections and my garbage disposal. He arrived at 10:45am and fixed everything and cleaned everything up and was out by 11:45am. Justin is very professional, knowledgeable, and provides excellent customer service. read more

If I could give more stars, I would. I was in a mega-bind after my toilet conked out, and Justin helped me out immediately. He responded to my inquiry in minutes, gave me an estimate over the phone, and got me the toilet I wanted cheaper and quicker than if I'd gone through Home Depot (would have taken a month to show up and I literally had no toilet). Texted Justin (owner) to come by for an estimate for our residential home to replace a bathroom tub nozzle. Without knowing the work to be done, he quoted $1,000. When I replied if he'd first like to see what work needed to be done, he texted back rude and vulgar language, including blaming me for his own quote. Highly unprofessional. Replacement of my pressure regulating valve was completed without any difficulties and explanations of things given. Had a water line burst early on a Saturday morning and had a tough time getting a hold of anyone. Just in Time responded quickly, charged me a very fair price, and did not charge extra for weekend or emergency quick response. They also finished the job in less time than other companies had estimated, saving us extra $$. In addition to having to dig up part of the ground, they removed the defective part, replaced with a better part and quickly had water service restored to our home. We have used Just In Time Plumbing for home after the recommendation from several neighbors and now use him at a work facility as well because he is always the most fairly priced, always fixes the issue correctly the first time, and the most honest we have found. There have been a few times when he saw something that looked like it was going to be a future issue and rather than just letting it occur so that we had a future call to him, he fixed it. Even when it's at no charge because it's minor now but would have been major later. Even when in Austin, he always arrives faster than Austin plumbers, once in an ice storm the first time we used him and pipes burst he was there lickety split. Once I realized after he left that some of my jewelry was by the sink he was working on upstairs all around the sink including a decent diamond at that time. All still right there when he left as well. Because I had jewelry stolen once by a mover, that's a big bonus in my book to have the ability and the opportunity but show your integrity over monetary gain. All people should do that but not all do. It's locked up now after I did that twice, but kudos to his honesty in pricing and around things of value. I also always find him to be professional and he always remembers our names and uses them--very friendly. I am having a hard time believing the couple of one star reviews on Just-in-Time Plumbing. I had a great experience with them. I had a water line break on a day that was about as miserable weather-wise as any in Austin. Justin was busy and surely no one wanted to work outside on this day but he still found an hour in his schedule to come out with his crew and fix my problem. Justin is a warm, friendly kind of guy that you just can't help but like right away. His price was very fair and he is in this for the long haul - he wants the repeat business. As for those couple of nasty reviews: my experience was that Justin was polite, professional and very responsive. I highly recommend this company - I know I will use them again. There was an urgent issue with the sink at my business this morning. After calling plumber after plumber to try to get someone out, I was settling on someone who could get to it at 6pm & was going to charge me an additional fee for same day service. Feeling desperate, I agreed. Thankfully, I decided to call one more plumbing service... 1. This was the only service I called where the man who answered talked to me like a real person & not another invoice. I was panicking & instead of taking advantage of that, I was helped & treated as a friend. 2. He helped walk me through a temporary fix over the phone. He said if it didn't work, he could just come on over right away. Thankfully, it did work. Now the issue isn't an immediate emergency. We will still have to figure out a true solution, but the quick fix helped me eliminate a safety hazard. 3. He also gave me a few theories on what the issue could be, one of which he was able to explain to me how I would be able to handle it myself. I am truly appreciative. One involved replacing a regular toilet with a new high-rise, low flow toilet. His crew was very polite and used care in removing it with very little mess, which they cleaned up. Just-In-Time came to my rescue for the second time this year. Replaced a disintegrating kitchen faucet that was leaking badly and saved me from replacing the garbage disposer which I thought might be bad also. Arrived right on time as scheduled, performed quick replacement...even came back and showed me how to clean out the aerator which became clogged shortly after they left. It's kind of ironic they're called "Just In Time". Had an appointment to have my main sewer line inspected and cleared. Confirmed the 1PM appointment via text around 9AM. Made my way over to the property and waited a half hour before inquiring if they were still coming by via text. After getting no response, I texted 5 minutes later and told them not to bother coming. Only then did I get a text that they were stuck on another job. I get it; these things happen. But a text either saying they were delayed or even rescheduling would have been the professional route. Adding to my previous review, this time I had my own plumbing needs. My garbage disposal was spraying out whenever used and leaking under my sink. I've also been trying to ignore the dripping hose faucet outside. Called Just-in-Time last night and they were here by this afternoon! Less than 24 hours later I have a fully functioning garbage disposal and no more leaking faucet! He also put some insulation around the faucet since the weather has been so crazy and there's still the potential for freezing. Love this company! Very friendly and quick service. My main water valve was stripped and stuck in the off position which meant I had no water in my whole house. I called The closest plumber to me which was Just in time plumbing. I explained my problem to Justin over the phone and got an initial quote and then discussed with my wife what we should do. The next day I called Justin back and said I needed his help and I wanted to book him for my job. He came out within 20 mins and tackled the job. He dug out two feet of dirt and replaced a new valve and some other thing that I can't remember. He did an excellent job and his talent is worth every penny. I had a leaking valve under ground near the main shut off valve by the street. When public works looked at it they said that it was on my side and I would need to call a plumber. I called Just in Time at 9am Tuesday morning he asked me to text him the address and he would check it out. Around 10:30am I received a text message with 2 pictures showing me the leaking valve. We had toilet draining and running problems in both bathrooms. I called at around 10 that morning. They said they would be here by 1 since they had another call. However, they were able to be here even sooner than that (11:30). They repaired the clog issues and rebuilt the inside of the guest tank. They actually beat me to the house (I had run an errand). While they waited, they checked all the outside lines to be sure they were clear. Very decently priced, efficient and quick, and extremely personable. You be the judge. Justin and a helper showed up at my daughters house to install a replacement water softener. The plumbing for the replacement softener was already in place from the previous defective softener. All they had to do was connect the new softener that was already available at my daughters house. They arrived at the house and installed the softener BUT did not program the softener or turn on the power making it operable and functional. Told my daughter she would need to handle this set up? She's a nurse! Not a plumber. They were at her house for 40 minutes and charged her $300. When I called them this morning about coming out to finish the job Justin tells me " we install these but do not program and make ready for using. He then became confrontational telling me that I need to contact the manufacturer and figure it out myself. He then went on to tell me that if he came out to finish the job and program the unit he would charge an additional $150. I told him to just forget it. YOU be the judge. Received a quote from Just-in-time to disconnect kitchen sink and disposal and bathroom sink so they could be pulled along with the counter tops to install new counters and sinks in both rooms. Then, of course, once the new counter tops and sinks/disposal were installed, the need was to be timely in re-connecting the plumbing so the down time would be minimal. The agreement for the completed job was some over 7 bills, somewhat pricey but, everyone gets their pound of flesh these days, what can you do? Justin was accommodating in getting here for the disconnect the day before the new counters and sinks were to be installed. Once that was done, he was back in a timely manner for the re-connect. However, we had ordered a faucet for the bathroom sink that had not come in so, he hooked up the kitchen sink and disposal and we had to arrange for him to come back for the last hookup when the faucet came in. So, he collected payment for $565.00 for an hour's work with the reminder that when the bathroom faucet came in, that would be an additional $150.00, and left. When the faucet came in, we called him and again, here he came in a timely manner. So, where's the gripe?, you might well ask. As it happens, the bathroom sink was a different, modern style. When he looked under the cabinet and saw how the drain from the sink didn't match up with the drain pipe coming out of the wall, he was overheard saying something along the lines of "This isn't worth a $100 to me and he and his two man crew were out the door. Total on site time something like 4 1/2 minutes. I had just walked outside ahead of him. He advised me I needed to find a plumber that worked on 1957 plumbing (year the house was built) and PUFF, he was gone in a cloud of dust. As bad luck would have it, I had just had a similar situation with the guy that disconnecting the old countertop electric range and vent hood and was back to hook up the new range and vent hood. He discovered it would take about a 1/2 inch shim by 42 inches which he didn't have, so he left. Now, everything had been paid for including his labor. The next morning, bright and early, I got a call from his company advising me that because it was going to take extra work, they would need to collect an additional $163.00 before he would come back to finish the job. That little cheap s.... episode on top of the plumbing situation made me determine I didn't want to deal with any more Prima Donnas so, I decided that somehow, I would get the job done myself. All well and good were I some 50 years younger but no, I'm a 78 year old guy with arthritis in both knees and back. I won't even try to describe what it takes to get down on the floor, manipulate up under a cabinet and work on plumbing. Of course, getting back up defies imagination.. Never-the-less, the job was accomplished with a minimal amount of time spent in the process and I am not, nor have I ever been a plumber. In conclusion I will say that the positive points referenced at the outset of this narrative were totally wiped out by that one act. read more

I'm selling my house. I have a nit picky buyer. I called a handyman in Kyle with 30 years experience to bring my gas heater and water heater up to code with rigid pipe and sediment traps. Long story short I wasted a week calling these "handymen" who didn't know what to do about it. I called Justin out of the blue after trying two plumbing places in Kyle and one in Buda. I called at 12:43 p.m. at 2:43 p.m. he sent me pictures while I was at work and he was done! I should have called him first now I know better. read more

DO NOT USE THIS GUY! To be a supposed "professional, probably the most unprofessional business owner I have ever had in my home. Justin used profanity, dinged our walls, leaving gouges and paint scraped off in several places, tracked in dirt, and left what appeared to be tobacco spit on one wall. When he broke 2 pop-ups of 2 brand new sinks in the bathroom, he accused it on being "cheap" faucets. When the faucets continued to leak, he said, "I don't know what to do" (meaning as to how to fix them). I told him, "Justin, you are the plumber. I don't know what to do." He stormed out of the house saying, "I guess I'll have to drive all over town to find something to rig them." While he was gone, I checked the faucets. One was leaking. I texted him and told him. When he finally got back, I told him I didn't appreciate the way he talked to me. All he could focus on was how much the part cost him, which in turn cost me, not him, as you will see below in his text. He assured me this faucet was steel, and it wouldn't leak. Guess what? It leaked while he was right there!! He couldn't believe it. He got that one to work, then the other one started leaking. Long story short, we have a faucet that is leaking, and Justin will not make it right. Here is part of the text that was sent to us from Justin. "I will bring u twenty four dollars that was what is. remaining after buying them popups so u can call some one else to fix them,,,im sick thanks".
