He told me they were going to work on it right away and so I said great! After confirming that the water pump had broken and that they could have it repaired the same day I was very surprised and impressed. I did get a little concerned with the estimate but up to this point everything had gone better then expected so I went ahead and told them to get it repaired. Later that afternoon I got a call telling me that The job was done so I went in and picked it up after they let me know about a payment option which I qualified for and all was good again in my life!! The job carries a two year or 20,000 mile warranty and I even had my original cost for the inspection returned to me which I needed. I highly recommend dirks transmission and repairs to anyone with a small to large repair and need it done quickly and with complete professionalism. I will be going back for any future repairs and maintenance needed on my daily driver C6 Corvette 2008. Thanks Omar and the entire staff at Dirks auto repair. I wanted to post an update as of the end of the week of the repairs being completed and I did take my car back to Dirks because of a smell of antifreeze and just wanted to be safe. So there was a small leak in a heater hose that went undetected during the final pressure test performed. Omar told me to bring it in and we can take a second look so I did and it does happen, there was a small leak in a heater hose and it needed to be replaced as well. They looked at my car not knowing how bad the damage was, took it into the shop, took down the other person's insurance info that I had written down and called them, called Hertz for me and a VERY nice rental car was delivered to their shop within 30 minutes. My car ended up being totaled so I had the rental for over 2 weeks until I got $$ for my car and was able to buy me another used car (I didn't have anything fancy). They also do mechanical work, A/C charging, all kinds of stuff, even on Sat & Sun. They are really nice and make you feel comfortable, not a bunch of pervert guys leering at you. I would recommend them to ANYONE. I'm not well -off, so it's not like I got special treatment due to having money. I make $1,000 a month and had a 1992 model car. They treat everyone the same.
