Years ago this was a pretty good vet, then they got bought out, and since i have never seen the same DVM two years running. Took my dog in today to get bloodwork done, and to get a lump tested to see if if she has cancer again. The new, very young vet listened to me explain the reasons i had come in (for maybe $500-600 worth of services), and responded by trying to upsell me on testing/meds for osteoarthritis. For context, i have never been to this office without several upselling attempts by staff. I explained that i was looking at a very expensive visit today, likely followed by thousands of dollars of cancer treatment, and that i was not interested in discussing arthritis today. The vet had no idea about testing costs, so someone else was brought in to explain that. There was a long pause, and then the office manager came, and reproved me at great length, in very vague and confusing language, for being dismissive to her staff, and told me i was free to leave with no charges if i wanted to. I said that i would rather proceed with getting the services that i came in for. Apparently this was the wrong answer. She then told me that they did not want to provide me with any services. A thoroughly weird experience.

I was unable to get an appointment with our regular vet so we took him to P.A.C to have the procedure done. The doctor and staff were wonderful. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye and were incredibly sympathetic to our loss (the assistant in the room sed tears along with us). A few days after receiving our dogs ashes we received a hand written sympathy card from the staff in the room. A truly incredible experience! Needless to say, we have a new vet.

The vet gave our puppies a thorough exam during their first visit and found that one had tapeworms. He gave us a pill for both puppies and there was no sign of tapeworms several days after their pill. The vet also noticed that one of the puppies had a small hernia. When we brought the puppies in for their first distemper shot at 9 weeks old, the vet was so adept at handling the puppies and giving them an injection, that neither puppy flinched. I should note that the puppies are a little under 2.5 pounds.

This week we went with a newly adopted dog so we could get her microchipped and have her Rabies vaccine done. For some reason, even though the first shelter the dog was in had "spayed female" on the paperwork, the lack of a spay date made the person signing in our dog suspect that she was not spayed. Do yourself a big favor and bring in spay documents if you have them. If you look at our dog's abdomen, there is a spay scar. We had to have bloodwork done to the tune of $40 because they did not want to give her a rabies vaccine because there was no date of a heartworm test on the shelter paperwork either. The shelter had the dog on heart-worm preventative and flea and tick meds. We needed a form filled out so we could apply for a Lifetime PA dog license since she was now microchipped. This was a $15 fee but it saved us gas and a trip to our vet which I guess is fair but it literally took two minutes to fill out. I did end up paying close to $300 for everything. Finally, I had to wait several minutes to get the rabies certificate filled out. During that time I noticed a board with rebate information. I was surprised that the clerk who we paid made absolutely no mention of the rebate I could request for the flea and tick meds we purchased. What surprised me even more is that when I went on line to do the rebate, T.A.R.A. was not on the list of participating veterinarians who sell the product. I had to add them on manually. All this being said, the veterinarian and the tech who took care of our dog was very nice.

She quickly ascertained that these lumps (due to fatty deposits) are common in older dogs, which was a great relief for which I wasn't overcharged! Beyond that, the good doctor and her personable staff are very helpful, gentle, and patient with my somewhat skittish, rescue dog (who has calmed down enough so that she no longer needs a muzzle). Unlike another local vet, I am also allowed to stay with her throughout the examination, and that gives me immense peace of mind. Highly recommended!

Upon arrival a young woman comes out and states, "the vet did not show up today".... and then proceeded to add that "the vet in the Monroe location didnt show up that day either." So I learned on that day that this company has veterinarians that don't show up when they feel like it, a customer service department that DOESNT ANSWER the phone, and no accountability to the community. And now to today and the latest round of comedy from this derelict organization. The left hand doesnt speak to right at vetIQ that's for sure. Then I proceeded to attempt calling customer service again, guess what, NO ANSWER AFTER 5 MINUTES OF WAITING. Nothing at all, not even thank you for calling well be right with you...I mean absolutely nothing. So finally I decided to complain about the difficulty I am having through a "contact us" form submitted through their website. I GOT A RESPONSE TO THE CONTACT FORM! Customer service agent claims its also notmal for vets to just not show up. Agent also said that even though the website says they are open they are actually closed because THE VET DIDNT SHOW UP TODAY AND MOST LIKELY WONT SHOW UP TOMORROW EITHER! WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE THIS PLACE IS!!! RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS FAST AS YOU CAN AND EMPLOY THE SERVICES OF A REAL VET THAT CARES ABOUT THE PETS IN THEIR COMMUNITY, THIS COMPANY SHOULD SHUT ITS DOORS FOR GOOD.
