Since taking over as president of the homeowner's association a few years ago, we have had a few different managers. In the last year or so we were blessed with Heather Eisfelder as our Community Association Manager. Once Heather became familiar with our community's concerns, she has been on it from day one. She is responsive to our needs and works in tandem with our Assistant Manager, Jane. Both Heather and Jane respond so promptly, even to last minute and after hours request. For a small community like ours, the value for our money has been worth it. I would not normally review a company like our management company...in fact I would never have thought they had a Yelp! page. What prompted this review was that during last night's meeting, Heather saved us about $50 / month on our street sweeping expenses. However, she went on to tell us that she had also identified nearly $300 in expenses that we pay per month and we do not use. For a small community of 75 homes, trying to keep dues low during this current economy, this is the kind of monthly savings that helps balance the budget and keep us out of the red. Heather also gave us other ideas on how to easily modify a rule to meet our communities updated needs. Thank you Heather and Jane! Your efforts don't go unnoticed.

I was a guest who was going to pick up an item from a resident of this neighborhood. I had just come from work wearing scrubs and drove there for a quick pick up. I was told prior to driving there that the resident had given my name at the guard house so that I may enter the community. When I drove to the guard house, this old white blonde lady guard comes up to me and immediately says my name is not on the list even before she had asked me my name. She looks at my outfit and condescendly asks if im a caregiver, I said no and that I was just here to pick up an item. She then attempted to contact the resident twice to no avail. I understand if maybe the resident did not give my name to the guard. I tried to ask if she can try checking again and giving her my full name or any iteration of my name (perhaps it was written wrong), however there was a car behind me and she said in a loud and annoyed voice that she has to check again. I then just declined my intent to enter, I said I will just go away instead. Again I understand if there was miscommunication and my name was not given, however the rude attitude was unnecessary. I felt like I was judged for my outfit, or perhaps discriminated becayse of the color of my skin. Maybe if I had gone to visit wearing plain clothes, she might have treated a me as a guest a little better. Who knows? I did not bother to come back. My dignity is not worth going back to this place. They are definitely secured by keeping people out. Staff could use some work in respect or attitude adjustment. I would have gladly went away from the start if my name was indeed not on the list, I just did not need to be judged in such a manner.

I was leaving at night and the gate was closed and instead of driving over the spikes and not being able to back up I tried getting his attention. This was my first time leaving at night and didn't know the gates open automatically. He literally yelled at me while giving me dirty looks. Next I calmly to have a guest able to enter, also my first time. He asked me for my code which I was not aware of. He said find it and call me back and hung up!! Really? Where do I find it? What kind of a code? Help me out a little? No just figure it out was his approach and hang up. I'm disappointed with this guard as all the others are friendly and professional. Next time he's getting a piece of my mind!!! Don't be rude to us, without us your job doesn't exist. To be clear it's the skinny one not the one with dreadlocks.

Look out! He has dark slicked back hair and he is Caucasian. My family spends good money to leave here. There's only a handful of guards that are responsible and polite. San Joaquin take note! As you all may know the plumbing in this place is far from the best. Over the past few years we had numerous issues with our plumbing and leaks. I know about 5 other families with issues as well however this isn't about the one star plumbing or the expensive looking cheap housing it's about something that makes living here worth while. The pool's showers, that's right the pools showers. Nope not the pool which always has too many kids the quiet showers near by. Ok it doesn't sound amazing at first but these three shower heads make living here a dream. I got home and the water was shut off from yet another plumbing problem. I reeked of horses and sweat I could not sit at home and wait for the water to be turned back on. I had to act fast my stinky feet was slowly beginning to make the whole gaming room smell. Then I remembered wait the pool has showers I put on a swim suit and went down the street. I figured they would be horrible but I was so wrong. I held the button to turn on the water to my amazement the water was at the perfect temperature! How is this possible? I thought to myself I only had to hit the button two more times til my shower was complete. It is such a great feeling showering outside please try it sometime and see for yourself how great the pool showers are, you will free your body and mind by showering here once. I swear it will change your life this place would be one star without their pride of the pool showers. I think I will shower here everyday even after the water is turned on. It's around the corner so there is some privacy, but please wear a swimsuit there are children around. Just remember it closes at 10 which I think is reasonable, so get your shower in before then. The parking there is also great a few spaces actually nearby bathrooms and there is a handicap accessible stall so no one can miss out on the wonder of these amazing showers!

My tenant received less than 12 hours' notice, delivered as nothing more than a handwritten note left the night before -- no official communication, no timeline, and no clarification about whether anyone intended to enter her unit. As a landlord, I am legally required to provide proper written notice before anyone enters or disrupts a tenant's home. Instead of acknowledging this basic legal reality, the HOA responded to my request for clarification with a passive-aggressive message implying that I should be "more compliant" and "grateful." To be clear: I did not object to the maintenance. I objected to the complete lack of proper notice. I objected to being expected to guess whether interior access was required. I objected to being lectured for asking for the information I am legally obligated to provide. A competent management company should understand notice requirements, communicate clearly, and provide accurate information so owners can comply with the law. Instead, this company chose to deflect responsibility and blame the homeowner for their own failure to follow basic procedure. If you expect professionalism, transparency, or even the bare minimum of organized communication, this is not the management company you want overseeing your community. I have had nothing but problems with this group since they signed on. I just got done fighting late charges because their accounting system couldn't seem to process my payment on time and now I have unprofessional maintenance emails being sent to me. Avoid.
