DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS AT THIS LOCATION! ITS IS NOT SAFE NOT FOR ANYONE! I WARN YOU, YOU MUST FIND SOMEWHERE SAFE FOR YOUR BELONGINGS AND FOR YOURSELF!!!! The newest employee Linda, is a very dangerous and destructive person, who has been attacking customers from the day she arrived. I have been a customer since Bea and Loretta worked the place, not very long after it was built! And never, until Linda was employed, did i have an issue with anyone or anything at this location. I liked the employees very much until now. Since Linda arrived she has been trash talking customers to other customers, trash talking employees to other customers, and vice versa. She has threatened, screamed at, used profanity against customers, accused customers of trying to hurt her, or of being spies, and told one man hes lucky she didnt attack him, for simply walking to where we were standing, keeping a great distance from her mind you. She accused me of having an affair with another employee soon after she was hired. She trash talks Muslims regularly, and recently, transgendered people. She also blames others for when shes disciplined or caught. On December 9th she brought up, yet again, a customer whose human rights i was protecting when she first arrived, as he was the first i know of who was under attack by Linda, and she had lied to fellow staff about what he had actually said and done. As i was present when much of it transpired, i told the staff what had actually happened. It was actually her threatening him, screaming and swearing at him, and making HIM feel unsafe, not the other way around. And some of it was caught on camera so i encouraged Shane review the footage. She was also, on Dec 9, being very verbally abusive towards me, and in response I openly aired my grievances, and i left the boxes i had gone there to ask for that day, and just walked off of the property. I warned Shane that i was next on her list. And on December 17th, sure enough, she physically attacked me. The moment i walked in the door to the office that day, she stopped me while i was on the way to the restroom and said "Leave the bathroom the way you found it." When i asked her exactly what she was accusing me of, she refused to say and kept repeating, "You know what you did." I kept saying, "No, I DONT know what youre accusing me of, youre going to have to tell me," and finally after several rounds of that, she came over to me with her phone, showing me PHOTOGRAPHS she took of the bathroom after I used it, which made me feel INCREDIBLY unsafe, and in all the photos everything was normal. She seemd to have a problem with my throwing trash in the garbage can when i was finished using it. Im not sure if she knew i was on the phone with someone while she said all of this, so everything she said was heard not just by me. Then i got another call, someone asking if i had an object on me that was of great importance to her, and i didnt want to answer, as I suspected Linda may try to destroy it if she knows its important to someone in my party. So when i did finally answer i said something to the effect of "I didnt want to say it with this woman around but yes i have it and now i have to put it away immediately because shes dangerous and may try to destroy it." So i left the office without using the restroom, i felt nowhere near safe enough to use it at this point, and i put the item away. When i came back to the office, i caught Linda taking pictures of the SEAT i had placed the object on when i had first arrived, and then walking away as though trying not to get caught doing so, and when i reached for the door, it was locked. She came over and refused to let me in, asking why i didnt come when Shane was present, to which i answered that i dont HAVE to come to the office only when Shane is here, i have a right to use this space. And when i went to open the door, she elbowed me in the ribs and shoved me. I called the police on her, and she told them she has a RIGHT to not let customers into the office. Which is a lie. Nor would the company want customers locked out. Now, the other issue is that this problem has not been taken care of. She should have been fired with that very first customer being threatened and harassed by her, but she wasnt. However, at that time i did not report it directly to upper management, i reported it to Shane. Now i am reporting everything to upper management. I cannot urge you strongly enough to not rent at the Manville location, or anywhere Linda works, but if you MUST, report anything and everything to the customer service line. There are cameras all over the property and there is audio recording. There is a sign in the main office there is audio recording, however its uncertain whether there is audio recording in the halls of the storage areas, or outside. But there is surveillance all over. I have been at this storage almost a year and my daughter over 3 years.We have not come across any problems.The facilities are very clean and well taken care of. The owner and the employees are very respectful,kind,friendly and understanding. I fully recommand anyone to store their items here.The price is not that bad either for what you get in return the safety and security of your possesions.Sonia :) read more
