I finally found Steves Tire Service thru Yelp and decided to call them. The rep told me to come back at 4pm which i did (3 hrs later) . They took my car in exactly as they promised and the worker checked my tire thoroughly , fixed my leak (from an older plug), check the pressure in my other tires (without asking) and put air in as needed. The worker was very helpful and amiable. I was charged 25$ and i left him a 5$ tip. Will return to do business with them again.

I ended up spending close to $500 and on first appearances everything seemed fine however once I hit the highway, I found that my car vibrated quite severely. I came back to have it checked out again and now the problem is even worse. I was told that they did everything they could, and wasn't really given additional help beyond that. I am now out $500 and will have to go to the dealership to have this issue fixed. UPDATE: The tire that was supposed to be replaced was just moved to my back wheel (so they took one of my good tires and did what with it??) pictures show the tire before I brought it in and after I picked it up.

They helped me get a tow, suggested I talk to my insurance about reimbursement for the tow (good call, I can submit for a reimbursement!), looked at AND fixed the car on the same day. The prices were reasonable especially for the amount of work that was done and how quickly they did it. They even had to go pick up a special part for my car. Their communication and customer service is the best I've ever received from a auto shop. To top it off, they gave me a little bit of a discount off my total bill which was a nice surprise. Their pricing was about $200 higher than some other European specialty shops in the area, but their strong reviews made me decide to give them a shot. The final bill ended up being slightly higher than the original quote, but not by much. They also performed an inspection and recommended a few additional items. One recommendation was the cabin air filter, which I had literally just replaced myself. To Diego's credit, he explained that his technician was mainly going off the vehicle mileage recommendation and likely didn't physically inspect the filter closely before suggesting it. Overall, the service itself was good, communication was solid, and the shop seems professional. That said, the higher pricing and the upsell recommendation on a brand-new cabin filter gave me mixed feelings about returning in the future. Not a bad experience, just one where I think customers should double-check recommended add-ons.
