My husband asked our roofer if he had any referrals for a painter and recommended Competitive Painting to us. We picked Dunn Edwards exterior paint colors. They initially came to power wash our house and a couple days later they came to start painting. A majority of the work took the first 2 days (4 man crew) and by the third day, it was a 2 man crew to touch up everything and paint our front door. Every time they came they would announce that they were here and would let me know when they were leaving. I did a final walk through on the third day but of course my husband finds things that I missed. There were a couple more guys who would come to pick up their ladders, equipment and porta-potty so they would be able to do those last minute fixes that my husband found. I hired Competitive Painting to paint my elderly parent's house in Moreno Valley. The old paint was chipping, there was bare wood showing, overall looking in pretty rough shape. Apparently the wood was in such poor shape that it required extra time and paint to make sure it was primed and sealed correctly. It took a few days for the prep work and for the painting, but the results were phenominal. They had provided a contact for a paint specialist to do some 3D rendering of the house with different colors and it was really helpful in my parents picking the colors they'd like. The attention to detail was AMAZING and the house turned out beautiful! It was the first time the house was painted since my parents moved in and is looking way better than it ever has.
