Bob is a friendly trustworthy local guy who works his ass off and has earned my business more than once. I found myself in a bind this past October with my Toyota needing complete brakes (I used the E brake to get it to his shop) front and bake as well as an exhaust pipe Bob found missing & preventing emissions from passing as well as a dozen other things to pass inspection. Needless to say, my budget was limited and time was of the essence due to my work requires travel. Bob did all the brakes, rehabbed the exhaust and took care of the dozen other items on a Saturday afternoon of me delivering it too him. Lastly, Bob and I discussed pricing before he got into everything that needed work and considering the additional exhaust- Bob stayed within 10% of my budget, including inspection. Couldn't be happier with ABS and my 4 runner that runs like a dream now.

He says I can look at it for free, then give you a fair price and see if you want to do it here. He had an opening because someone else hadn't shown up today. He looked at my car. Took the tires off and told me what was wrong. He let me look at the rotators and I could see how worn-out they were. He gave me a great price for what needed to be done. He also patch a hole in my tire too. I am very happy I pulled into American Brake Service. I feel like I got a fair deal and everyone was super nice. It is great driving away from a mechanic and not feeling ripped off. I would totally use American Break Service again.

In a warehouse section of Concord there was a garage with several service bays in a complex that had several body shops and car services. There was a long line of BMWs, Audis, Porsches and VWs. I have two BMWs and started bringing my cars to Autowerks for service over 10 years ago. I live in another city 500 miles away but for periodic maintenance I bring my cars here and it is usually half of what the big city or private shops would charge. Never, never has there been something that was misdiagnosed or overcharged. I've bought tires here at very competitive prices; Michelin, Continental and Pirelli. They know the cars because they drive the cars and they have the same sense most of us do is that the average BMW will be joy to drive, safe and high performance if it's maintained well. If it isn't properly maintained who can you blame?

Come to find out everything that she didn't need to pass the inspection was pushed on her in a way that seemed it needed to be done in order to pass. Easy target! a young lady that has no idea what's going on, just a big heart and almost too much trust. With prices not being crystal clear and picking at stuff that has nothing to do with passing the inspection, that the set appointment was clearly for. They just sat her in the waiting room for 3 hours. We had a tow truck on the way to the shop with the car when we learned they would not be able to fix it until at least Tuesday. She lives alone and needs her car, but they are closed on Sunday and were booked on Monday. We got the tires replaced Sunday at a Sam's Club a mile away. Paid a Little less and have a shop open 7 days a week.
