My wife went in for a free inspection. As you can only imagine they did what they do best and it ended up being $600 my wife and I where having a really hard time with money so this free inspection was a huge help. Come to find out everything that she didn't need to pass the inspection was pushed on her in a way that seemed it needed to be done in order to pass. Easy target! a young lady that has no idea what's going on, just a big heart and almost too much trust. With prices not being crystal clear and picking at stuff that has nothing to do with passing the inspection, that the set appointment was clearly for. They just sat her in the waiting room for 3 hours. I am beyond pissed I called to see if anything could be un done but the gentleman on the phone just pushed it off and proceeded to say you saved $90 with the military discount. Hats off to you ass hole. I'll make sure I spread the word. You really didn't help the right person today! taking the only money we had to complete our payment towards our mortgage . In no time ur shop and job will be a dollar general. Merry Christmas I would suggest anyone even considering sending a loved one to get even something as simple as a free inspection. to take a hard right in the opposite direction! go to an actual shop where they care and can put them selves in ur shoes and do what's only necessary. VIP provided me with an estimate of $900 to complete a fix on my car. They sent me the quote and it looked good/reasonable. I went to the shop and after 20 minutes, they told me that they had to replace an additional part. The $900 quote was instead going to be $1,700 and the additional part would be another $600. I walked over to the dealership who told me that the additional part VIP quoted me for rarely breaks and it was highly unlikely that it had to be fixed (another shop also said that part did not need fixing). Oh and they charge a "shop fee" for the work they are already doing. Find another shop or at least another VIP, this location is not it. read more

Went here for a new alternator and oil change. Quoted me 1300 for a new battery, alternator replacement and an oil change! Absolutely ridiculous!!! My battery was changed a year ago and all I needed was an alternator and a 90 dollar oil change!! Came home and my oil was low 3 days later, obviously didn't give an oil change due to us arguing about the ridiculous quote. NEVER bring your car here, just looking to scam people out of money. Ended up going somewhere else, took them 15 minutes to change the alternator, part was a 300 total. AVOID VIP!!!!! read more

My boyfriend and I had a flat tire and we are clients here, and we wanted to get the tire change as they had a warranty on them. We brought the car in at 7:30am right when they opened and still it is not 4:20 and no one has even touched the car. We had called mid morning to see what the progress was and they said they would start working on them around 2-3 pm. We needed to get home to Massachusetts and now have been here for over an hour just waiting to see if there was any progress and nothing! No one has touched our car, and we asked again and they said it had already been getting worked on, but we can see through their service window that nothing is getting done. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter to take in the car for a state inspection. Now that she is 18 I thought it made sense for her to do this going forward on her own. She texted me once they were done and told me the price, which was three times higher than the NH state inspection. She said that they did an oil and change and changed the windshield wipers - never asked her prior to performing the work. This is interesting since I had the oil and wipers done already just a few months earlier. The car had less than 500 miles on the oil and the wipers were only a few months old. I checked the automated email from VIP for the service and it clearly states that the car was only scheduled for an inspection and nothing else. There was a sticker on the windshield that stated when the car was due for an oil change, around 4500 more miles to go. They would have also known this if they asked my daughter about these services prior to performing the work. They went ahead and performed these services without any prior approval and also taking advantage of a woman is illegal. Where I went wrong, after the fact, is that searching reviews of garages in the Concord area, VIP has the worst reviews out of all of them. I should have done my homework first, and that is my fault. read more

New to town and received a flyer in the mail from them welcoming me to town and they offered a free oil change. I decided to just pop in one day and they had time to take me in. I told the manager my tires might need to be rotated and I would pay for that service. The manager offers to rotate them for free as well! We had new tires put on 2 vehicles. they had the best price around and the people working here were super friendly and professional. They gave me a printout of my cars alignment because I told them they wouldn't have to do it because I just had it aligned at another place just 2 weeks prior. The printout showed it was way off. I took my car to the other place to have them look at it again, long story short they wouldn't stand behind their work. they refunded me the money but wouldn't do the work. I had VIP do the alignment, it was done right and cheaper than the other place !! I will definitely bring my vehicles here from now on. read more

I used to go there because it was close by. I have had three terrible experiences (2 Service, 1 Parts) They broke my TPMS sensor and said it was not their fault. It was cracked and it worked fine when I brought it in. They forgot to put a stem valve cover on my tire so it broke when I went to top off the air in my tire leaving me with a flat in the cold. They would not return a part when their system had the wrong info and were very rude. Not sure why I went back after the first bad experience but shame on me. You are better off going someplace else. read more

I said in a previous review I wouldn't be back, but... I had a low-pressure problem with one of the tires I bought from them two or three years ago, so I figured maybe they'd help at no charge. I didn't even get that far. While admittedly there were two people there before me, the one employee on the tire side never acknowledged my presence or even made eye contact -- or not until I walked out the door. I spent less time taking care of the problem at Tire Warehouse down the street than I did waiting for VIP to even say hello. When I need tires again, I'll get them elsewhere. read more

I visited the Concord VIP on Black Friday 11/23/18 to purchase 4 new Goodyear tires. I was helped by a someone who was helpful and talked me through which was best for my car. I gave my CC information and was told they would be ordered and come in early the following week (Monday- Wednesday). Saturday I noticed my card had not been charged and when I called no one knew who I was, what I ordered or what I was talking about. I was told I would get a call back in less than an hour with some further assistance. As of today, still NO Call. I called again today 11/26 to inform them to NOT CHARGE my card as I need the snow tires and I am no longer waiting for this confusion and disorganization. The order was for $775 and apparently VIP Concord does not want my business. read more

Went in to get the "free state inspection". In order to get this deal, you must have an appointment, which they did mot tell me when I asked about the offer. They were unable ti schedule one that day, so i went across the street and got a sticker at Banks Chevrolet. They washed abd vacuumed my car, have wifi, and a nice waiting area with decent free coffee. You get what you pay for. read more

While i was dissapointed to find that my vehicle needed alot of work these guys explained it all to me and got my vehicle back on the road. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I was dissatisfied. Not a greeting to be had, a very inhospitable staff-team at the register, and I had to repeat my personal information as well as my car information 3 times within 2 minutes to the SAME person. But formalities and pleasantries aside, I waited 2 hours in the waiting room with 4 other people, all of us there for tire installments. One couple was there well before me and only left a few minutes ahead of me because they approached the sales-people at the front desk. I followed suit shortly after the umpteenth time of apologizing to my children that we had to wait so long for tires to be put on. When I got to the front desk and asked about my car, it was all set to go--wouldn't you know my car had been done and sitting for over half an hour? While I just sat there with my two children, patiently and quietly playing more well-behaved then I can recall on any other occasion in public for 2 hours with no snacks or nap? As we were leaving, another person from the waiting room was being told by a staff-member that the 4 tires he was told they had in stock were not available and he'd have to wait an hour while they went to get the replacement...an hour on top of the installment and "let-me-shove-my-thumb-up-my-ass" waiting time. Yeah, no one was happy in that waiting room. The only reason I will return to VIP again is because of the Tire Package I purchased for switching winter tires over in the spring/summer time. I had an electrical problem with my car. I had replaced the battery but the battery light was still coming up every time I started the car. I brought my car to VIP in Concord, NH and they were able to diagnose the problem and fix it within an hour and a half. Great service! I went into VIP today for a tire change (snow to summer) and a State Inspection. Unfortunately they did not tell me in advance that they were short staffed and what usually takes an hour took two hours to complete. Needless to say I was quite disappointed to hear this since I was waiting for my car while work was done. That being said they completely rectified the wait time and made me feel like they valued my time with the discounted price I recieved at the end of my service.
