I had such a great experience at Franks Front End. My parents recommended this shop to me for an alignment and tire balance/rotation. When I called to make an appointment, the gentleman who answered the phone was very polite and helpful. I was able to book an appointment for the following week and they let me know the price ahead of time. The day of my appointment, I arrived to drop my car off and they offered me some coffee and gave me a timeframe for when my car would be finished and they would give me a call. Sure enough, after the two hour window they gave me a call and my car was ready to go. The shop accepts cash and debit/credit cards for payment. Very efficient and knowledgeable techs. They don't do much more than front -end work although they do do state inspections and will refer work out to other shops that they don't do themselves. The waiting room isn't much to look at although there's free coffee. read more

The same family runs this neighborhood business since the '60s. They fit me in right away the first time I stopped in. The owners spent time to explain in detail what was wrong when I came in, how they fixed the problem, and advised me on tire rotation. The price was very fair. Joe also asked me to come by after about 2,000 miles for a free visual check to make sure my tires are wearing evenly after the alignment. Highly recommended! read more

Took my car here, from a recommendation from Don's Tires. I needed an alignment after getting my new tires put on, and was hoping to get in somewhere quick. I am extremely picky with who I let touch my car, and these guys definitely did a great job. The shop is on a little dead end street near Elliot Riverwalk. I had the first appointment of the morning, so I was in and out. The shop is very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. You don't always get that in this line of work, so it is greatly appreciated. It only took about 45 mins for the alignment to get completed. They have a small waiting area, which is nothing to rave about, but for the price and quality of service, I'm not going to complain. I will definitely be coming back here for any other front end service my car may need. read more

DO NOT GO HERE (FOR STATE INSPECTION!!) They were so nit-picky. Failed me for one of my headlights not being buffed enough and a rust spot, that was not even a rust hole, that was covered by a plastic covering. Also, they said that my Parking brake was "inoperative" but that they could fix that when I came back in re-inspection. A few weeks later, when I called to schedule appointment, they told me that they didn't know what was wrong with the brake (because they were too lazy to check during the initial inspection) and that the latest they could schedule my appt was 1pm (which for working people is impossible) since they needed to schedule me for a 3 hour time slot. So I finally found time to get my car re-inspected and the brake fixed, they called me to say they didn't find anything wrong with it and to come pick it up. They passed me finally but charged me a $35 "lift" fee. When I questioned about the fee they said that I was being charged because they had to book off 3 hours to fix the car. UMM HELLO, THATS NOT MY PROBLEM THAT YOU WERE TOO LAZY TO CHECK IT OUT DURING THE INITIAL INSPECTION...PLUS YOU FAILED ME FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BEING WRONG WITH IT!! When I explained to them that it was not my fault, they refused to waive the fee. Fucking assholes. If you want to avoid a headache, don't come here. read more
