Our refrigerator is only 4 years old. Each time we call them to ask why they are not getting us serviced, they say the can't find a technician/repair service. We live in a town within 40 miles of 5 big cities so this makes no sense!. After many complaints from us, LG said they would 'escalate' it ....but we learned this is terminology they use to make you think they are actually doing something....so now this supppsed higher priority team - Presidential Liason Area - is now on it with one representative who rarely informs us as to what is going on - all we get are vague promises with no definitive action. I finally made one phone call after a week of LG telling me they can't find a technician to fix our refrigerator to a local repair company who said they do LG warranty work- it took me five minutes to find them - and sent LG their contact information. LG said they would contact them and get a service agreement worked out. Now we are constantly having to contact LG to tell them to answer this repair company's emails to get things arranged so that we can get a repair appointment. LG just drags their feet. The repair company emailed them on a Wednesday and when I checked the following Friday, LG had not answered the repair company's email. This warranty repair should not have taken this long. It is becoming obvious that LG does not honor their warranty in an efficient manner. The local repair company has been waiting for LG to contact them. In speaking with the repair company we understand that our first appointment will be to diagnose the issue themselves even though one company who does not do LG warranty work already diagnosed it.....and to order any part that will be needed. Meaning we could be without a refrigerator for another week or two. All of this is due to the poor customer service we have experienced with LG and not standing behind the warranty in a satisfactory and timely manner. We bought this LG refrigerator in good faith for $3500 just 4 years ago. We can not believe this horrible service and In this day and age, refrigeration is sort of a daily necessity to daily living!

Wild how for months there were only 2 reviews on this business, but after the business administrator was insanely rude and I let people on yelp know to be weary, suddenly there's 2 more 5 star reviews in just 8 hours (both of which are recently opened accounts)? Extremely dishonest business practices. Makes me wonder if any of the reviews are real. My mother doesn't have cancer, but thank you for proving you did not listen and have quadrupled down on poor customerservice because you were caught in a lie. You said one thing. Then you had 3 shifting excuses as to why you no longer had to honor what you said. But don't insult people and insinuate they'relooking for free services when that's not what's being said (see original text below). If you go with this business beware. I'm sure repairs are fine, but I don't know because I never got past the business administrator who is an expert at gaslighting in order to skirt responsibility. Original post: Told me it would be $50 for a service visit. They came, they were not able to fix it as they said they needed to order a part. I said no worries, and asked if the $50 would go towards repairs. They said yes. I followed up a month later and asked about repairs. They gave me a quote. I asked if the $50 would go towards the quote like they said it would. They said first--no, that I took too long to get back to them. I let them know we were never given a timeframe where we would lose the $50. They said "we never thought you'd take so long to get back" multiple times. Then they said no. The $50 is a service fee stated on yelp. Which is not what they said when they visited us. Then they said no and insinuated we were asking for them to do work for free and that other repairmen charge more. I said I wasn't asking for anything for free, and that other repairmen wrap their fee into the cost of the repair and that I was inquiring if they did the same. They just kept repeating all three talking points until they hung up on me. And then they tried to zelle me $50. Am not looking for free work. Am looking for an honest answer. If you don't roll the $50 into the cost of repairs then don't tell people you do. And if you have a time limit to hearing back from someone then tell people that. Don't be dishonest. Edit: The absolute lack of accountability is present in the business' response. They didn't respond to anything that I said and continued to repeat the same talking points. If you have a time limit on when people get back to you for repairs before their $50 is forfeit then you need to communicate that. Don't tell people one thing then decide because it's been too long for you that you won't honor what you said. Especially if that "too long" was never communicated to begin with. They also need to be honest as I have, on multiple occasions, let them know I am expecting nothing for free, so to continually insinuate I'm looking to get free work out of them when I have told them that I am just looking for a straight answer is bizarre and belies a lack of professionalism. It's also wild work to insinuate I am "taking it out on you" because I told you that people need communication in order to know if they're under a deadline. It feels like you're expecting people to read your mind.

If I could give 0 stars, I would…read more Our company's dishwashers have been broken for over a month, and Mr. Appliance West Loop has been nothing but a nightmare. Every time a tech was scheduled, they canceled last minute. The first technician was rescheduled after a week, and when he finally arrived, he only diagnosed the issue. We had to schedule another appointment to fix it, which was rescheduled to the following week. They claimed to have fixed the dishwasher, but it still doesn't work, and they couldn't get someone out to re-diagnose the problem until three weeks later! The real issue is their inability to keep staff, so appointments are constantly getting pushed back. When they do manage to send someone, all they do is talk about how new they are and how little they know about the job. It's beyond frustrating. Avoid them at all costs!!!
