I have not experienced such amazing customer service in our entire bathroom remodel project (or probably ever), as I have while working with L&L Glass. From the very first phone call when I spoke with Marissa, I got all the warm and fuzzies about this company that I needed to schedule an appointment to come measure. They knew we were on a time crunch (after being completely screwed over by another glass company in the area), and tried very hard to get us scheduled ASAP. When Pete came to take measurements, he was very personable and answered all my questions. He got the measurements back quickly and I had a quote sent over just a few days later. They were a bit more expensive than a few other places we had gotten quotes from previously, but customer service and positive reviews go a long way for me, so I quickly pulled the trigger and put down a deposit. Miguel and (totally blanking on the other dude's name. Gah!) came to install our shower glass and we were blown away by how quickly they were in and out. We stepped out for a quick breakfast and they were already done! Super cool guys, too! I've called, and he probably accidentally answered, texted, multiple times and the owner has completely ghosted me. No response, no accountability, just silence. I'm a realtor and got their info through my brokerage team, which makes this even more disappointing. If this is how they treat a potential referral partner, imagine how they'll treat the average homeowner. Avoid at all costs.

I offered to go pick up the windowpane at his shop, however he was kind enough instead to drop it off at my home. He was very helpful and professional. The kicker, I made a terrible mistake and provided him the wrong thickness for the glass pane. He, without hesitation, responded immediately and cut another window glass pane in the right size. Extreme disappointment regarding the quality and installation of the 18 Simonton windows I…read morepurchased from JDI. The overall product quality is unsatisfactory, and the installation was subpar. I continue to experience drafts and excessive noise through all the windows. The amount of noise I receive from planes (I live nowhere near an airport) and cars is crazy; it was never like this with my old builder grade windows. Furthermore, the caulking is very sloppy. The owner said he was ok with the work and threatened to place a lien on my property the day after the windows were installed if I didn't pay, even though I was not satisfied. Following the owner's suggestion, I completed a Home Energy Audit. I have attached a few photos from that audit which clearly demonstrate significant temperature differences. I have also attached videos demonstrating the air leakage using a fog machine.(I can't attach all the pictures and videos I have and would be happy to share) After I called the troubleshooter radio show, the owner sent a crew to insulate three of the windows that I felt were the worst (which helped a little). I was then asked to pay for the insulation of the remaining windows. It is unclear why new windows would be installed without proper spray foam insulation in the first place. Additionally, two of the windows still do not close or lock correctly, even after the sashes were replaced twice. Given my significant investment, this has been a regrettable experience.
