My laptop got a ridiculous virus....my antivirus was expired - I know, don't start with me - and I called three companies at 2am. The 4th company was new, no reviews, but a great website www.mssg.us. I called, and they answered the phone, at 2:15am. The tech, Robert, took 10 minutes, identified the problem and explained the cost - $125.00 - flat fee to resolve this. I got the option to pay by PayPal, and once I did, they remoted in to resolve the issue. I was back up in 90 minutes, well worth the money, found out that Time Warner, my Internet Provider, gave me FREE Mcafee - which I NEVER knew - and would always keep me up to date with the software. The remote support was clean, professional, and so was Robert. He told me that they were working to take the "SH: out of our I.T. Issues, and I almost cracked up laughing. In the end, he told me that the best clients for him - match his slogan, "Unless you're amish, you need us." and he was right! Call them, 949-385-1194, and let them help you. He told me that they are also in New York and Miami. That's good, because I have a summer condo in Miami Beach, so I think I will be following up with them in Florida.

I tried to clean it up, but I guess I didn't do a great job, because after that, things slowly started going downhill. The screen would randomly go black, it lagged like crazy, and some of my games just wouldn't run right. After dealing with that for almost a year, I finally decided to have it looked at. I had taken it to another shop once before for a different issue, but they kept my PC for over a week and honestly, I don't think they diagnosed it properly--because the hot chocolate mess was never addressed, and the problems continued. This time, I found Fix My PC, and I'm so glad I did. The gentleman there was super kind and clearly knew what he was doing. The shop is small, but don't let that fool you--he's sharp. After a proper diagnosis, he found the issue: the video card had been damaged from the spill. He cleaned it out thoroughly and replaced the card--and had it all done in just 3 days! I couldn't believe it. Fast, accurate, and no upselling or runaround. Compared to the last place, which took a week just to figure things out and more time to change a part, Fix My PC was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend!
