These guys are as good as it gets! I popped in with two ruined iphones, and kids who wouldn't give the phones up for love nor money! Ben, the owner, worked on them fast so that I could get them back asap. One was in much more of a mess, but I took the other and he told me another two hours as they needed a couple of pieces. He called in an hour, saying it was ready, and it looked as good as new. Another friend had them recover data from her computer, and she said it was a huge job, but they saved everything, so that's why she sent me to them. This store cheated me out of thousands of dollars. Benjamin extorted $1800 in cash and never recovered my data. I had to take my computer which I paid $2250 to fix to another computer repair store, since it was never fixed right, as soon as I paid and took it home.They never fixed my computer and would not give it back unless I brought payment in 100 dollar bills equaling $1800.They did not recover my information on my computer, just desktop. Ben, the owner is a true con artist and scammer, since he never tells the cost of the work until you fight to get your computer back. After I paid him about $2250, I had to take my computer to be fixed by a legitimate computer company. This shop is pure comedy, the manager Benjamin and employee Robert (I believe that was his name) are both pretty funny/enthusiastic guys. I took my laptop in to recover some data that a bunch of local shops in the West LA area said could not be recovered. I was a bit skeptical to come in because of the minimal reviews, but man was I happy to come in. The only other place that claimed they could recover my data was Geek Squad, and they wanted to charge me $825 for Lord knows why. My data was definitely important to me but I decided to give this mom and pop shop a chance. They were able to recover my data, AT LESS HALF THE PRICE!!! Great experience and fast service! After reading the great reviews online, I brought my Cisco telephone router for repair after accidentally ripping out the power cord. They will give you a quote on the day you bring your device and then give you a completely different price when you come to pick up. I came here thinking it would be cheaper to fix here than it would at the Apple Store, but it turns out to be the same price and completely unreliable. I had dropped my laptop too many times and broken the area around the DC jack, making it very hard to keep the charger plugged in. I liked that Benjamin, the technician/manager, was flexible in terms of how I wanted to fix it: replace all parts, or just simply get it working again (similar to what Joe S. said in the review above)! I couldn't be happier with the team and work performed at the Computer Connection Group. I've owned my Mac Book for several years, and it recently stopped working. Specifically, the computer would boot up, but the screen would not show any activity. If i could give this scammer 0 reviews I would. All the five star reviews here are fake. He tricked me into paying a $65 diagnostic fee to diagnose my computer saying that he will try and "fix minor issues for this price" and if there are more problems he will let me know. Unfortunately he will never fix your computer for $65. Instead he will try and up sell the hell out of you, and return your product in worse condition that it ever was, forcing you to complete the pricy service that is not even worth it.
