Yesterday Rodney literally saved my "hide" as I'm a small business. I can't be without my computer to work on even more so all the software and tools I use on it. Then I have a trip coming up where I need to bring my equipment to work off location. My hard drive died the night before and he contacted me pronto to help. He saw me the next day where we met to confirm my laptop was dead on arrival then I ran to get a new laptop where he took it and made come to full life. Full life meaning he saved my old hard drive, my software and set-up better processes for me to use. When I say software, we're talking Quickbooks, Adobe, and Office! Yes I was stressed. But knowing Rodney was on the job, I was sound. And I had my new laptop back and I was up and running that afternoon! This is an updated review as I worked with him back in 2016. He helped me figure out how to print and scan on my Brother printer using their Command Center (that Center is wonky to use). Rodney is awesome! I made an appointment after my ancient laptop crashed to see if the relatively new hard disk could be salvaged and used as an external storage device for my new system. Rodney was punctual, polite, and came prepared with a USB case for the hard disk. The salvage operation took less than 15 minutes, and proved successful. He also provided some very useful tips and advice. He was helpful and informative in identifying the problem and letting me know he would not be able to fix it. Despite the fact that he was not going to earn a dime off me at that point he went well beyond what I would have expected. The turnaround time was amazing - I called Saturday, needing the laptop to work Monday, and he was there Sunday. This review is long overdue. Rodney has bailed me out several times. If he doesn't answer his phone right away, he calls back soon after. He is very knowledgeable and takes care of the problem right away. He comes to you which is so convenient. On one occasion he helped and taught me how to put together a slideshow. Another time my new modem caused my MFC to not work properly, I had Comcast come over, I called Brother customer service and a fax specialist. I feel terrible! This review is looong overdue. Rodney, at Computer Janitor, is great. We got a virus of some sort on our computer. No matter what I did, our monitor remained black. Rodney came over, looked at the computer, and had to take it with him. He kept me updated very regularly via texts over the next few hours. I wish there was a rating option for 6 stars, because that's what Rodney would get from me. I couldn't be more impressed with his professionalism, expertise and genuine concern for great customer service. Let me start by saying that I know absolutely nothing about fixing computers. As long as my computer turns on and works when I need it, I'm happy. Now that my computer wasn't working, I needed to find someone that would not only be able to fix my computer, but would also have A LOT of patience with my limited computer knowledge. I got on Yelp and found the only computer repair business that had a 5 star rating and hoped for the best. I called Rodney and explained all of the issues that I had been having with my computer. He asked several questions, and when he found out that I did not own an external hard drive, he told me not to worry and that he would purchase one for me. He didn't talk over my head and was very patient as he explained the process. Within two hours of our conversation, Rodney was standing on my front door step. He spent an hour working on my computer trying to fix the issue that I was having with my hard drive, but was unable to correct the problem. Apparently, my hard drive had crashed and it was beyond repair. Unfortunately, my whole life was on that hard drive and I was in full freak out mode. Rodney calmed me down and explained that there were several companies available that are able to recover data from a bad hard drive. He quickly got on his phone and started making calls to find a company that could help me. Not only did Rodney not charge me for his visit and services, he found a data recovery company that would be able to salvage all of the data from my hard drive. If that wasn't enough, he drove my laptop to the data recovery company and hand delivered it to them. Who does that? During the data recovery process, Rodney checked in with me daily to see how everything was going, even though a different company had taken over. He was genuinely concerned about making sure that I was being taken care of and that I was able to recover all of my data. After everything was said and done, my laptop ended up needing a complete rebuild because the hard drive was dead. Of course, the data recovery company wanted to do the rebuild, but I called Rodney instead. Once again, he came right to my house and picked up my laptop. As he rebuilt the system, he kept me informed by texting me updates of his progress. It took a few days because he had to order new software, but it was well worth the wait. When the work was complete, Rodney delivered my laptop right to my house. He sat down with me and went over the new system, answered all of my questions and once again, was extremely patient. When it comes to paying for things in life, there are a few things that automatically make me cringe every time I have to pull out my checkbook. Auto mechanics, contractors and anything to do with computers. Well, I can take that last one off the list, because Rodney was extremely reasonable. The entire rebuild, including my new hard drive was only $200. I've had my computer back for about a week now, and I haven't had an issue. In fact, I would go so far as to say that my computer is better now than when I first purchased it two years ago. If you are in need of a computer repair company that does great work at a very reasonable price, you've found it. Rodney will take care of you from start to finish. I hope I never need to have my computer repaired again, but if I do, Computer Janitor will be my first and only phone call. read more

Once he came out to the house he not only completed all the tasks I asked of him, he helped me with additional problems and tasks I needed done. My office is now free of my old computers.
