Bought a refurbished computer here because my current PC could not accommodate Windows 11. Pricing was fair. Online reviews of this business were mixed, but I gave it a shot. When I was told the contents of my former PC had been copied and all was ready, I picked up the "new" computer. Once home, it was clear that Windows 11 had NOT been installed. An email to the business over the weekend was quickly answered, and it was clear they were eager to make things right. They did, but, for me, it involved multiple trips of 1/2 hour each. P.S. So my $1000 Gaming laptop technically "works" now but my external GPU housing that goes with it is useless and will not work with the laptop. The software required for the GPU simply does not accept my laptop after it's time at Computer Works. Geeksquad or your computer's manufacturer is a much better option. Very cute place. Good cold brew coffee. Serves breakfast and lunch food; bagels are from Tandem!! Nice staff, friendly customers. They also sell looseleaf tea and ground coffee. I think Computer Works in Easthampton, MA is still a bit of a secret. What great folks! I've needed their assist a number of time over the past four - five or so years. It's soooo hard to be without our machines these days, and as a writer, etc., being without my Mac hits hard. Computer Works can take my malfunctioning machine in the morning and 9 times out of 10 have it back to me the same day. They have an option to pay for expedited repair which I've always used and is very affordable. Knowledgeable, patient, and generous people. Highly recommend! read more

I brought my Xbox in on May 13th and was told it would take 7-10 days to get the parts and fix the broken port. Those 7-10 days turned into weeks with absolutely no communication. After 3 weeks, I call and ask what's going on. They tell me the first port change didn't work and they're trying it again. Okay, cool, then call me and tell me that. Now it is over a month since I got my Xbox and I'm told I can pick it up Saturday and they close at 7. I pull up to the store and they're closed and the sign says "Saturday: 10-5". So now I have to wait until Monday to get the device. They open at 10, I get there and they are closed once again. I go to their cafe next door and am told they open at 11 now. It took me six trips to and from computer works to finally get my Xbox. I do not recommend this company for anyone. Do not waste your time and just take your electronics to Northampton. read more

Brought in my broken Iphone and was extremely happy to hear when I heard it was fixed in less than 45 minutes! I had also asked them to help me fix my laptop at the time and they suggested in the long run(seeing how old my laptop was) it was cheaper to buy a newer one. These guys are great! After a couple years of going without my laptop, because I listen to the knuckleheads at Staples, who claimed that the repairs would be the cost equivalent of a new laptop, I finally brought my laptop to computer works in East Hampton, and they identified the problem and fixed it for a lot less than I was expecting. And then another time, I brought my iPhone in there to get the battery repaired, and through no fault of their own there was a minor glitch with the power button. They immediately identified the problem, admitted to it, and fixed it at no charge. That kind of honesty and integrity is hard to find these days! I will be bringing all my tech related work to these guys from now on. read more

After 2.5 weeks of delay, I called to know what was going on my my laptop. I find out they were trying bad refurbished pieces (keyboard and trackpad assembly). I told them not to do anything else and gave my computer back. The next day they called me and told me they clean up my computer and my own pieces worked. I came to take my computer and got charged $45 more (In addition to the 40 of diagnosis when I bring up the laptop). Guess what? My computer has been 10 hours at home and trackpad is not working again. They changed the settings of the trackpad to appear it was working. When I put the settings back to what I am used to, it had problems again. I completely lost $85 and almost 3 weeks. read more

Don't go to Best Buy where they charge $89 just to look at your computer...these guys are awesome...they will fix your computer or network system at a fair price and make you want to come back.
