This is the best print shop in New York for the price. They do bindings that most other print shops can't or won't do, and their print quality is excellent, unlike village copier and kinko's which often smudge the print. They are also very fast and will print something for you while you wait (if they're not insanely busy). They can be a bit gruff at times, but are generally very nice, and when they are rude the customer usually deserves it. read more

I will never be coming back. As other reviewers wrote, price gauging! The cost of binding my one book was twice what they told me over the phone the day before. And it turns out I spoke to the manager over the phone. Rude and dishonest. I'd recommend going somewhere more ethical in their services, there are so many better printers in the area. read more

I needed something printed last minute on a Sunday morning, and almost every FedEx Office location…read morewas closed until the afternoon. I found ABG Print on Yelp and headed to their location. Upon arriving at the address listed on Yelp and their website (which is a multi occupancy office building) - the doors were locked with a nondescript intercom system. I called them to try to figure out how to get in. Nobody picked up, but the message proclaimed that they were 'open and operating but couldn't get to the phone.' I wandered around a bit more and found the REAL entrance, located at 520 8th Avenue. I went to check in at the security desk as required, and was turned away by the security guard because apparently, they are appointment-only. That seems odd for a supposedly 24 hour establishment. I did not see this on the website, nor was it mentioned in their phone message. Long story short, wasted so much time going to this place, trying to get in, trying to get a hold of them, trying to get past security, and with nothing to show for it. Will not be trying this business again.

In fact, the only station in the city open on Sundays and a lifesaver for those who started writing holiday cards on the Friday before Christmas. Peering into the "envelopes" mail slot, thousands of pieces of mail were visibly overflowing the sacks, requiring some gingerly wedging of my small booklet-worth of correspondence in between others. Fingers crossed all made it out ok! Shoutout to one of two staff working the two open counters at 5pm on Sunday December 21, you were friendly, prompt and helpful and put your best foot forward for terrific customer service. Only 2 counters were open and the line was about a dozen people long, steadily moving. For service--a solid 5 stars. Facilities are as expected a bit on the older side, being built in 1912 as part of the original Penn Station complex, though the modern conveniences of tap-to-pay technology and self-service weigh/postage stations are available. Waiting in line, the details on the ceiling caught my attention. Maybe because the darker evening outside accentuated the brighter interior, the simultaneously ornamental, scrolling flourishes fitted in repeating geometric patterns stood out in ways I hadn't noticed before. Come to find after some googling the ceiling is decorated with the country seals of 11 countries including the US, the countries part of the universal postal union at the time of construction, an administrative body now under the purview of the United Nations that handles international shipping policies. Not very fun facts: designated a national historic landmark in 1973 and re-named after James Farley, 53rd U.S. Postmaster General in 1982. Previously generically named the General Post Office. Slightly more fun fact: atop the facade along 8th Avenue the inscription reads, "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." Some may confuse this to be the creed of the U.S. Postal Service, but it's actually not. Rather, it's tied to the tribute that building architect William Mitchell Kendall paid to major historical figures credited with postal advancements. This is an excerpt out of Herodotus's 'Histories', which described the messenger system established in Persia by Cyrus the Great.

As someone who has regularly used this post office for years given its easy availability, including with a P.O. Box there, it amazes me what has developed, especially since the building now also includes Penn Station's Moynihan Hall. Yes, they do have window service every day, but 98% of the time they're slow as molasses long lines because less than optimal staffing levels. Hey, USPS, this is the city that never sleeps, yet P.O. Boxes and self-serve Automatic Centers are now closed off to the public at night!!! Why? (Note - This is despite the faster than inflation, year-after-year increase in this location's P.O. Box rental rates.) Why is the only ADA access, as far as I could find it, on the almost the. complete opposite side of the building towards 9th Avenue inside Moynihan Hall?

Horrible horrible experience. After standing there for 45 minutes, someone finally saw me at the counter. They took my order and says to wait. I waited another one hour, finally they calls my name. We were discussing my book for my exhibition, although it is a little bit complicated, I tried my best to explain to them that I just want them to print it and i will come back to rearrange them. And theres that short haired lady around her 50s, heard our discussion and gone mad on me, and saying we don't take this kind of orders why you are making things complicated, and then she give the order slip back to me in a EXTREMELY RUDE way. Although they accepted it after i said I'm not in a rush, it is still a horrible experience for me, I will not recommend anyone to go to this place, the staffs have no manner at all. read more

This place is amazing! I wish I found this place earlier. I had to get my student portfolio done so I decided to give this place a shot from raving reviews from my friends. I got there and they were very helpful in helping me prep my files. They explained a lot of stuff that I never learned from my professor. They have a lot of paper and binding options. In the end I went with the perfect binding since it was a more professional look and cost efficient. They also do hardcover book binding which definitely looks interesting and I might come back to do my thesis on. read more

Quick and great quality printing service. They have printed my portfolio. It was a 11" X 17" perfect bind book and I couldn't find any other place that is able to print that large size except for them.
