She asked thoughtful, detailed questions and took the time to really understand my symptoms so she could put together the best treatment plan and not just a one-size-fits-all approach. Her kindness and understanding meant more to me than I can say, especially when you're feeling run down and frustrated after being sick for so long. I never once felt rushed. You can genuinely depend on MedHero for quality care, and providers like Sabrina Trinh are exactly why. I'm so grateful for the care I received.

I called Medhero and they got me in same day was only there about an hour got the steroid needle in my foot in and out. Everyone was so nice and professional and super user friendly. They keep it simple. Thank you MedHero and the doctor who actually was a former Navy Flight Surgeon he was so easy to talk to and minimized the pain of that big needle going into my foot. I will be back in the future. Thank you Steve Carlile

Was referred to this place by my lactation consultant, who as mothers know is a very trusted peer…read more I used to get so frustrated at the thought of going to an urgent care, but not at 8-2-8. They have great business hours because we all have to work and a lot of urgent cares tend to close when I get off. For the staff , i truly appreciate the working hours and trust me, I hate having to go close to closing but it is often what works. I appreciate the cleanliness, speed and organization of the clinic. For the most part, the staff is great and inviting. They've helped me and my family in so many ways. They are always festive, which makes a medical office fun

First things first - If you have Tricare, I would avoid this urgent care. They do not know how to…read moreproperly bill for Tricare select or Tricare prime and you will always end up paying over your co pay. I've showed the office multiple times where it states $26 on tricare.mil under plan costs for Tricare Select Group B. They state that it doesn't populate that way for them and that tricare in fact gives them $52 co pays for select at times. The front office person was extort rude and not understanding what I was trying to relay. They tried to refuse me care for a $2 balance after I've been back and forth with their billing as they are incorrect and have been multiple times for both me and my children. I have a head injury and was almost turned away for $2 that wasn't even owed on my end!!! Ridiculous. She kept saying she'd have to try to contact her manager and see if he was available but with it being the holiday, he probably wouldn't be. I ended up saying "You know what? F it. I'll pay however much today and contact your billing and also Tricare tomorrow because I just really need someone to look at my head". I was bawling my eyes out and the front desk lady couldn't have cared less. Second thing I think is worth mentioning is that my 5 year old daughter was seen for an infection and we told them point blank that she was allergic to penicillin and that she'd had multiple bad reactions to it in the past. They prescribed it to her anyways after assuring us that they wouldn't. When they followed up with a phone call they started "oh well, at least you know she's not anaphylactic to it anymore" . I was LIVID!! After that my daughter never went back. I only went today because it is a holiday and it was the only place without an extremely long wait time. I, however, learned my lesson and my family and I won't be back!

We are incredibly grateful for Rady Children's Hospital Urgent Care and their outstanding care,…read moreespecially during the busy holiday season. They promptly saw my son and were able to safely remove debris from his ear just in time for our family trip to Maui the very next day. No one wants ear issues on an airplane, and their quick, skilled care gave us such peace of mind. From check-in to check-out, our entire visit took less than 40 minutes. Every staff member we encountered was caring, compassionate, and reassuring...exactly what you hope for when your child is uncomfortable and anxious. Thank you for making a stressful situation so much easier and for taking such wonderful care of our child. We truly appreciate you and would absolutely recommend this urgent care to any parent.

I took my 6 year old daughter to be seen for UTI symptoms after swimming at legoland water park…read more Given her history of easily getting UTI, I informed Dr. M Pierce about her history with UTI's, her current symptoms of fever 102.5, chills, poor appetite, frequent urination, and no signs/symptoms of upper respiratory infection. Dr. M Pierce refused to prescribe her antibiotics for her UTI given her urine test came back positive with leukocytes and protein. Dr. M Pierce insisted she had strep throat and wanted to do a culture to rule out strep throat. Being an acute care Registered Nurse for over 10 years, I refused the strep test as she had no symptoms of strep throat/ upper respiratory infection. I insisted it was a UTI with her symptoms and her urine test showing leukocytes and protein. Dr. M Pierce was passive aggressive and refused to properly diagnose my 6 year old daughter and had to go home to manage her UTI symptoms and 102.5 fever with ibuprofen and acetaminophen. Fortunately, I was able to forward the urine results to her pediatrician the next morning and they confirmed it was a UTI given the urine results and my daughters signs and symptoms and got her Keflex called into the pharmacy. Dr. M Pierce has no care to listen to the child's symptoms, lab results, and pertinent information shared by the parent, (especially when I'm a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of nursing experience in Step down, ER, Cardiac telemetry, Medical Surgical, Observation and Neurology; and read lab results for my patients every shift). I've never dealt with such a negligent pediatrician and will never take my daughter back to Rady Children's Urgent Care to be misdiagnosed with an upper respiratory infection when she had no signs and symptoms for strep throat. Dr. M Pierce should not be practicing medicine or get a refresher in medical school.

Surprisingly every single doctor and nurse treated me exactly like I would treat my grandmother. When I was hungry, they brought me snacks, when I needed to be changed, they immediately changed me out. Every single person working there was amazing to the max. My only regret was not getting each and every name of every one who helped me do I could thank them personally now that I am out. I still might figure a way to do that. I just pray that everyone who took care of me sees this and knows how much I appreciate them. It was the scariest and worst time of my life, and the people working there made it bareable. Thank you palomar. Can't thank you enough.

All the staff are very kind and friendly and all supported me and congratulated me on my newborn…read moreeverytime they walked in, except for the social worker. She came into my postpartum room extremely rude and hostile, didn't even smile, didn't even congratulate me. She was very condescending and seemed to want to make me feel intimidated based on her job title, once I even found out what her job title was after our altercation... She demanded to me rudely to turn my TV off because I kept asking her to repeat herself, even after my infant was crying over her and I couldn't hear her, I wasn't even aware she was the social worker because she did not state that, she must have used another term but I was unaware she was the social worker when she introduced herself and her job title to me, not once did she say "social worker". After she left I asked the nurse when the social worker would arrive and they told me that she was the social worker. Her name was Ganell? Or Janelle? I felt like she made decisions based off her own personal dissatisfaction and judgment toward me, and was extremely unprofessional and power driven, keeping me at the hospital and preventing me from being discharged as some form of personal punishment for not taking her attitude very well. I even overheard that based on her judgement; that I might have to stay until Monday, and the stress has been killing me, for reasons she kept me, she didn't even inquire about, or even ask me to explain anything regarding her own concerns. I came in Wednesday at 6cm dilated in active labor around 3am and have another child waiting for me at home. I've been here basically 3 days and counting and I feel like I am in a postpartum prison. I don't understand why they cannot continue investigating my case at home and let me go home. Even a lot of other staff members and nurses are confused that I am having to stay so long and were surprised that I was no longer able to discharge based off Miss Janell's orders and "discomfort" of me.

He worked in the morning and left Burrego in the afternoon. I had been in the hospital ICU for brain bleeding, and my neurosurgeon told me to see my primary doctor as soon as possible. After calling Centro Médico Escondido many, many times and not being able to make an emergency appointment, they sent me an appointment via text message without even checking if I could make it that day. Desperate to get my referrals set up, I made it to the appointment. Sadly, Dr. Hernandez left the clinic without canceling my appointment. He works in the morning and leaves in the afternoon. If it was an emergency, the front desk should have called me to reschedule. I have been waiting for a whole month for an emergency appointment. When I called over the phone, I said I would take any doctor available as soon as possible. I am so disappointed with this center. The front desk staff are rude and act like nothing happened. I kept telling her this is an emergency, but she still rescheduled me for next month July 18th!! So, wait time for an emergency appointment is two months in Cento Medico Escondido!! I will definitely change my Burrego.
