However, here it is October 22nd, and my insurance has still not received a claim for the surgery I had on my right foot on September 22nd, 51 days later!!!!! Because the surgery center (Durango Outpatient, a surgery center under the umbrella of United Surgical Partners International) has failed to send a claim to my insurance, and therefore my deductible has not been met, I am unable to attend physical therapy. If this center would do its job and send the claim, my deductible would be met, and I could attend physical therapy free of charge. Instead, my options are to pay hundreds of dollars to attend physical therapy due to Durango surgery center's gross error or wait for them to be professional and do their job of which I am doing the latter as I cannot afford the former. I have paid the surgery center over $900 and my remaining payment of my payment plan is taken out on 11/3/22. Speaking with the surgery center's billing/claim department has gotten me nowhere. A representative from this department said she would follow-up on the matter after she spoke with her supervisor, and she has yet to do so (over 3 weeks ago). My surgeon has submitted their claims to my insurance and given the surgery center everything they need. This surgery center is a factory and doesn't care about the well-being of patients after they've gotten their money and are out the door. They are literally preventing me from attending physical therapy and getting back to 100% because they fail to do their job. No matter how good the nurses are, what's the point if you can't even attend physical therapy to rehabilitate following the surgery? I wrote the ethics line of the center's parent company, United Surgical Partners International over two weeks ago. I received a form response stating their front office was looking into the issue and have heard absolutely zero since then. How is it that United Surgical Partners International and Durango Outpatient allow such a glaring error, which greatly impacts my health, to go on for so long? I cannot drive as the surgery was on my right foot, I can't walk as normal, or go about my daily living activities as normal due to not having access to physical therapy. This is teetering on gross negligence.

This will be a surprise if I'm right. Also...kind of ironic that their name is Adjust but I never got an adjustment during my visits there. There are a few reasons why I will not be returning to your office. My first reason being that after the incident in which the phlebotomist took a blood panel and the needle slipped out, my blood spilled over the file cabinet where I rested my arm as well as dripping onto the floor. I was concerned with whether it had been seen or not but didn't want to make her anymore nervous with my observation as she proceeded to take the rest of the blood sample from my left arm. Blood was still on the file cabinet the following week when I returned. I chose to overlook it but in the back of my head this is a strong sanitation issue that makes me consider your cleanliness throughout. 2. I asked your office to send me my lab results. I did not receive them even after I wrote my email down. A week later when I received the call to confirm my next appointment, I reminded your receptionist to send me the labs to which she did that night. I was told she'd have to check with the Dr for my images. I have yet to hear back. 3. The last visit I went to I was told there was blood work that was still being reviewed or didn't come back and that the office would be contacting the laboratory to get the rest of those results. I am curious as to why my labs were not looked at previous to my visit. Doctors that I've previously seen reviewed my labs and had a report ready to relay to me. Those results had been received two weeks prior. I have very high expectations for the clinics that I take my business to and trust my healthcare to.

I couldn't get into my doctor so I felt so bad I went to Neighborhood Medical. Such a waste of my time and money. They did not take my insurance, but told me over the phone they did. I paid out of my pocket and it took an hour to see the PA, not a doctor. I have been treated by other PA's in my life with great success, but NOT today!!!! I had been prescribed amoxicillin by my doctor and it tore my stomach up so badly I had to take antacids. So I didn't complete the dosage. I told this PA that and she prescribed a doxycycline which is in the same family. My concern was there something else I could take, because I didn't want the same outcome. She kind of blew me off and just rushed out of the room. I was complaining about my left ear aching, and she didn't even take a look. So I waited for an hour to only have the PA to spent 10 minutes with me. Also, I'm probably 50lbs overweight and the PA kept asking if I knew I was overweight, yes most people know their weight, please! I said yes, I know I could lose some weight, but I'm not here for that reason...ugh! Waste of both of our time. Patience Be Ware!!!!
