Slowest place on earth! I wonder how many of their patients die of old age while in their lobby? If their past history repeats itself, I will wait for hours and never see a doctor, but a physicians assistant. And that's okay, but not after waiting for hours! If I had the option to have zero stars I would.. Horrible experience i had been in the waiting t for a drug and physical requested by my new employer. I checked in @ 4pm didnt get to do my drug test until 434pm. I was told by Milton would be a moment until for the doctor to see me.. Well that moment turn out to be over hour, I ask why it's taking a long time was told by Milton it will be another 2 hour wait. He stated the doctor will see the injured patients 1st and take more time then me.. I was told it would take 30 mins max, well it didnt.. Now I will be late to pick up my daughter from daycare.. its 534pm and no doctor insight, was told there is only one doctor today..Milton stated I could complain to the manager, what will the manager do!! If I knew it was going to take this long would had ask my employer to provide more time.. I cant come in on Monday since I work @ 730am... this horrible service didnt like Milton's response or his attitude.. I needed an employee physical and urine drugs screen for my new job. When I called on the phone to ask if the accepted walk ins they were pleasant and helpful. The next day I went in at about 1:30 and was told that there were two people ahead of me for the same things and I was looking at an hour to an hour and a half wait. They asked if that was ok and did I want to wait. I said sure and got handed some forms to fill out. Within 40 min I was called in and went to the back to be weighed and measured, eyes tested and vital signs done. The man who did all of this was very nice and quick. When I told him I couldn't use the restroom yet he had me sit in an area near the bathroom and offered me bottles water. I drank the water and waited maybe 10 minutes when another employee asked if I thought I could give a sample. She took me back and explained everything as well as made me laugh. She was very sweet. I talked with her a while about a mutual interest we had and felt like time flew by. I was placed in a room and waited another 5 minutes before an NP came in and did the most thorough employee physical I have ever had. We also talked for a bit and felt so relaxed and happy after being at a routine employee physical. This place goes the extra mile for people as well as providing a clean, efficient environment for their clients. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a physical or to be seen for a non emergent illness or injury. I am a fairly picky person. This customer service was the best!!! Thanks you guys! I had a work related injury and since then have been a patient at the U S Health Works in Ontario, Ca. I have been a patient for about four weeks now. As a patient my concern is my health and getting better. I have been very impressed by the doctors here as they put the patient first above the employer. While I am anxious to get back to work I want to be healthy enough first. That seems to be number one with the doctors here. And I want to thank each and every one of them including the other office personnel. read more

Waited 2+ hours for a simple drug screening, if you have a choice do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

Looks like the idiocy of this medical (might I add I am using this term loosely) group isn't just in Bakersfield. No wonder we got right in. First the doctor didn't seem to even know what a scrotum was and then he had to actually look up treatment for hemorrhoids, which my husband knew more about than him...so we wasted a co-pay for nothing because all he did was prescribe an over the counter medication that was similar to what he was already using. I am going to request my insurance pay NOTHING and that I get my copay back. I am sure that won't happen, but the doctor literally spent less than 5 min in with my husband doing less for him than he had already done for himself. The doctor came in the room and didn't even close the door at first when he started discussing his problem. The idiocy was truly amazing. Now I am searching to find out the doctors on call for that office and can't find them. I will call tomorrow to see who his doctor was and look up this doctor's records. I truly don't know how he has a license to practice medicine. read more

I've been here 4 times in 3 years and I've never spent less than 4 hours here. Still sitting in the lobby waiting for paperwork after 5 hours. Was seen by an MD am hour ago and all I need is a copy of my physical. Terrible doesn't describe the wait, I've been in and out of county hospitals faster than this. read more

I visited this clinic a while back but always intended to write this review so here it goes. I'm writing this only because the massive amount of negative reviews nearly scared me out of coming here. I came in on a weekday afternoon for a bad cough without an appointment. The front desk gal (she wore glasses) couldn't have been kinder and more helpful. I didn't realize you had to be referred by your primary to come to urgent care, she called my primary and took care of all that. My wait to see the nurse practitioner was about an hour which was the estimate they gave me. The nurse(?)medical assistant(?) Gilbert was very friendly. The nurse practitioner Diane was super informative and helpful, ultimately I was given some meds, I was in and out in an hour and a half. The place was clean and modern. No one likes to go to urgent care but the process was pretty hassle free, nothing like the reviews I've read. I wouldn't let the reviews scare you out of going, I don't discount their bad experiences, but that's not everyone's experience. read more

Worse health care place EVER! Walked in with wife and child 8 yr old. Ladies at front counter were staring at us like they just saw a ghost.... Then the Hispanic one says... "We don't see kids.... Well... How old is he?" We were like what? we said 8 yr old. She said, " we don't see kids under 10". I called around to many clinics and they all said that was strange - usually they restrict infants but not 8 yr olds. We said show us where that is written in health works policy... She couldn't locate the policy... Interesting.... Avoid this place if possible, nobody should ever be treated like that with their sick child. Shame on them! read more
