I had a great experience with Concept Flooring! We got quotes from 3 carpet companies including a national company and a big box store. Concept was so easy to work with! I submitted a request on a Sunday and heard back just hours later! Jim, our rep, was quick, efficient and low pressure. When another company came in a bit lower, he matched their price and came over at 6:30 AM to drop of a sample book for me to choose from. We had them do our replacement in 2 installments, and both times they were prompt, professional, and cleaned up all mess from the replacement. We could not be happier with the new carpet - I love to walk barefoot on it, it's such an improvement on what we had, at a very reasonable price. I would strongly recommend them to all my friends. We replaced all of the carpet upstairs in our house with oak hardwood. Their measurement and estimates (1325 ft^2) were quite close, and at the end there were only 2 boxes/50 square feet of unused wood. The crew was good and finished up in two days. There were two workers the first day and three the second. The wood was delivered a week in advance to acclimate to the house's temperature and humidity. One thing that showed some initiative was that the crew found and installed pads on the feet of all the furniture. We had bought them and figured we'd need to install them ourselves, but the crew did it without asking. We're very pleased with the result. read more

From the beginning working with my project manager, Jim was fantastic! We had existing hardwood floors that had to be refinished. He came in, evaluated, discussed options and how the floors would be done. The crew that actually did the work were artists. They even fixed areas that the original install had done poorly. Concept Flooring put in new hardwoods throughout my entire new home, all before I moved in from another state. Great communication, sent pictures, etc. There were a few areas that already had hardwoods, and they refinished them to match the new flooring flawlessly. Worked very fast, on schedule, and clean. Concept Flooring missed our install date/time at 10am. Their reason was that something in the schedule was missed up. Their install crew was in Tennessee at the time they should have been on location in Georgia. After a couple of texts, Jeff, the manager, called me to see if they could install 8:30-9pm that night. For a three hour job, that was too late for us and probably not fair to the installers. It was rescheduled for a different day. I can understand scheduling errors, so this is not the reason for this review. Second, and the main point reason for this review, is that the capet color installed was not as I expected. I explicitly stated I wanted to match carpet texture and color to the existing carpet throughout the basement. I gave them a carpet patch from an unused roll and they matched it to their patch. I was excited with anticipation about finally having the carpet section replaced after the original was damaged. I did not watch the install as I had trusted the install would match the patch and..., I wanted to stay out of the way. I was very dissapointed that the grey did not match when I saw the end result. It was light and bland, which did not match the darker "warm" grey theought the area. Disjointed is the statement to use. Afterwards, the project manager said that the dye is not always exact when the carpet comes from the manufacturer. I was not told this before when I was very explicit with matching the carpet. They did day they could replace the carpet. However, nothing else in their inventory matches the texture exactly like the rest of the basement so it would be a mute point to have to replace it with another carpet with color AND texture not matching. I wish I was told about the dye not matching before unstall. This would have made the pill easier to swallow if I was aware. read more

Wow! We don't usually spend time to write a review but our experience was so great with Concept Flooring that we had to share. We carpeted two rooms and the stairs, plus installed beautiful hardwood in the rest of the main floor. From the sales all the way through installation and cleanup, everyone was very professional, friendly and helpful. We are so happy of the results and have included few pictures here. Dave Jones and the team at Concept Flooring are the best. We had them install carpet, refinish the existing hardwoods, and install new hardwood that was color matched to the existing wood. I always bid out jobs of this size, and Concept was the lowest bidder. It is awesome when you get a good price, but then also get first class workmanship, service and professionalism. Dave and Jeff are great! These guys actually care about the customer. I was very nervous about spending so much money during this recession. They both took the time to educate me on what products would be the best bang for my buck! After I made my selection and paid my deposit, I got a call from them saying they had received a lower price due to a special the manufacture was running and they passed the savings on to me.
