I have owned a high-tech business for 25 years, using the latest in computers and computerized 3D microscopes. Fortunately, I've been working with Concise Computer Repair for a while and had a strategy in place that literally saved my company. On April 28th, 2019, a typical Sunday, I arrived in my office building to a frantic building manager. The main water pipe had broken in the ceiling of the first floor. The water ran from Saturday Afternoon ... till we found it Sunday... the people in the key suite above said there were no problems when they left on Saturday..(maybe it was running on Friday?.... but had not broken through?... who knows)? Water had saturated the first-floor ceiling and ran down the walls, filling the basement ceiling. Collapsed the basement ceiling and hit "Ground Zero" ----my main computer.... My computer was dead..covered in water..being rained on from above, I needed emergency IT services FAST. Fortunately, my computer in the back that can talk to our NAS backup was still working ... My first call was to the computer repair technicians at Concise and within 1- 2 minutes of calling they were on Team Viewer, verifying that my NAS was looking good and then they hit the road for my office... The next thing I know, one of their IT technicians is in the suite disconnecting the cables and preparing to leave with my systems backup ... my entire company in his hands.... Within 2 days Concise had a Laptop and was attempting emergency data recovery for my system. And within one week they were we able to get a back up of my files onto a generic computer in their shop so I could visit and begin the process of rebuilding my business. My complete suite had to be rebuilt..new furniture, new floors, ceiling .. walls etc.. All the Ethernet Cabling, New NAS, New Rack etc.. had to be redone. New phone lines ..EVERYTHING!. During the rebuild, I would visit Concise a few days each week and work on the computer in their shop and eventually on the LapTop. From April 28th till about May 31st Concise gave me 100% IT support to get me going in any way possible. A few late visits at night (sometimes from 6 pm - 1 am), with a team of various Concise experts (Dave, Spyros, Jeff, Mike, Andy, Brittany, Emily, Dan...)..and my complete business was up and running. Words can't describe the incredible IT support that Concise gave me. Their patience and understanding ... beyond words.... Also........Concise worked very closely with the insurance company when asked for a list of all my IT equipment..original costs, etc... usually, a nightmare to produce. Concise was able to produce all these records within days of being requested...something that can usually take weeks/months. Fortunately, a few years back we did a complete Concise Technology/Network Audit and Concise had a complete record of every IT component, including items I owned before meeting Concise! The Insurance technical expert (an independent contractor for the Insurance company) was very impressed. There is no better company in Michigan, and perhaps the U.S., that is better suited to help a small business with data recovery, data backups and emergency IT support. I was going through my camera one day and accidentally deleted all my pictures off of my SD card. I was inconsolable. I had pictures on there from my son's visits and treatments when he had Leukemia (he is doing awesome). I was in a pure panic because I worked so hard on documenting our struggle and his recovery. I Googled SD recovery in Oakland County and Concise came up, they were not too far from my home, which was awesome. I called them right away. These guys are the real deal. Fast turnaround time and excellent customer service. I called a few times and every employee I spoke with knew who I was and which computer was mine without a pause.
