What % of gold spot value do you guys purchase sealed coins and bars of .9999 purity with all documentation?

Market needs and inventory will fluctuate daily and as of today 5/24/23 we would be a buyer between 98% to spot price but is subject to change depending on those factors.

Do you buy other electronics like brand new one owned headphones beats, sony?

    We do not. Thx

Do you guys buy laptops too?

    New, yes!

Do you guys buy Apple Watches? It's a series 4 size 44 mm. Great condition

    What series? And condition?

I was a little nervous at first because this was my first experience with silver. But I feel like it was a fair deal and I am happy with the exchange. I had previously left a positive review, but after returning for the first time in a few years, my…read moreexperience was very different. I brought in a broken 18k gold chain. I had weighed it beforehand (1.18g) and checked the current gold price (~$112/gram). The employee assisting me (thin, dark glasses, beard) examined the chain and said, "what you've got here is a broken 10k chain." I corrected him and showed a close-up photo of the 18k marking, at which point he immediately acknowledged it. He also implied that because the chain was broken, it was worth less. However, when gold is being purchased for melt value, condition (broken or intact) does not impact the underlying value. He then weighed it and offered $70. When I mentioned the current gold price, he asked what it was, and after I told him, increased the offer to $80. When I didn't accept, he asked what I was hoping to get. During the exchange, he also stated, "this is a for-profit business." In my experience, reputable gold buyers operate using a consistent percentage of the spot price. That did not appear to be the case here--the pricing felt arbitrary and not tied to a clear or consistent method. Unfortunately, this interaction did not reflect the level of transparency and professionalism I had previously experienced, and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I had a very valuable pearl necklace from my grandmother that was gifted to my mom, and the pearl strand broke. Paul examined the necklace and quickly assessed that it will need to be restrung and that the clasp is not damaged. After his assessment and me communicating how important it was to get it done the same-day due to another jeweler failing to compete the repair after two months of waiting, he shared that he can do it for us the same day and even waived the same-day fee due to the urgency of our request and the negative experience we had previously. I think his wife was at the cashier and she typed us a receipt. She was super sweet. I also liked that the front door is locked and you have to ring the doorbell to be buzzed in - made me feel safe to be inside. We left the jewelry shop and within an hour, Paul called to tell us it was ready. The pearl necklace looked brand new. Paul did an excellent job! We picked up the necklace, paid for it, and surprised our mom. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and professional work!

When you want SPAM in your inbox then use Selling Your Things to sell your stuff. From the very…read morefirst moment they interact with you Selling Your Things (S.Y.T. A.K.A. "SYT" on their web site) uses questionable and unethical methods to send unwanted email to your inbox. The latest SPAM attack S.Y.T. on my inbox came via a response to my listing on Craigslist. S.Y.T. used the opportunity to try push their service on me instead instead of being invited. After my initial review of S.Y.T. my theory that they had used a robot responder designed to scan the current CL ads and spam the sellers was indicated to be incorrect by one of the S.Y.T. employees. As corrected from a S.Y.T. staff member I am now informed that SPAM responses to your Craigslist ad are manually created via a conscious action. S.Y.T. scans current Craigslist ads. Their staff then responds to your ad with a subject line that appear to be a valid response. Once you open the email you will have found targeted SPAM executed by an S.Y.T. staff member. As such their business activity moved from being a unforeseen problem of using a new tool, to an act of deliberate email SPAM by the S.Y.T. staff. For shame! As the public media as shown SPAM is a an ongoing problem, and organizations who send SPAM are generally regarded as scumbags. But let's move on from my initial business interaction experience with S.Y.T. to one of ongoing nature. So far the communication with S.Y.T. staff has not been pleasant nor has it provided much of positive outlook for the future. I have offered to communicate with the owner in in the hopes of resolving the problems to date. So far only a single employee has responded. I had requested the owner respond but there has been no indication at this point that my request has been passed on. Hopefully this is a problem of a single employee and not an indication of a problematic business owner. In reviewing the the services offered by S.Y.T. I have found the fees to be more that I would want to pay. Their S.Y.T. commission fees start at 30% of the selling price of you stuff. On top the S.Y.T.fee you are still responsible for paying the fees charges buy eBay on the sale price of your item, and the PayPal fee if the buyer uses PayPal to purchase your stuff. All of those fees soon add up to a large amount and quickly leave you wondering if S.Y.T. is a worthless exercise as well as a waste for your time, energy , and money. All for very little gain in comparison to selling your stuff on your own. Based on my business experience with S.Y.T. I suggest you do yourself a favor and avoid these spamming scumbags with fee laden services anyway you can.

The problem was that I KNEW that my stuff had value. I had a garage sale and I tried to put a few things on Craigslist. I sold my biggest item (massage chair) on Craigslist but there was so much more and I didn't want to take it with me. It was SOOOOO convenient to have a place to send my really valuable stuff to 1. not be in my way and 2. still have a chance that I can get some money for it. Every person I spoke with was awesome, kudos to the customer service team. When I had a few questions about the details, Jason was great and helped me understand how everything worked. I'm a web savvy person but I just didn't have the time to deal with trying to sell my stuff, this was the perfect solution for me.
