The office is really nice and modern. The staff is AMAZING. They were able to get me a new crown in less than 2 weeks to replace a crown I had done in California (which was improperly fitted and causing a lot of sensitivity) . My new crown is great, no sensitivity or issues flossing, and I can finally chew on that side of my mouth again! Dr. Johnson & all the staff at Premier are the best and I absolutely recommend their business.

I scheduled two appointments in early July for August 16 at 9:00 and 9:30 AM. A week before the appointments, I received a text saying both were canceled because there was no hygienist available that day. Understandable- things happen and of course hygienist can't be replaced on such short notice but when I called to reschedule, I was told the next available appointments were in December. Yes, December. They kindly offered to put us on a "short call list" which I had to call back later to follow up and still there were still no appointments Not ONE! I'm not sure how this office handles new patients, but canceling appointments made in advance and then pushing reschedules four months out is certainly a bold business model. I truly hate leaving negative reviews, but this is not how you welcome--or retain--new patients.

After that, the financial advisor told me I had to make a separate appointment with the specialist. Afterward, I was given a prescription for antibiotics, but the whole process was frustrating and infuriating. I then went for a second opinion at a different dental group, where they took care of me right away--no root canal was needed, just a crown. My first appointment for cleaning I've waited more than 1 hour so I have to reschedule my…read moreappointment to another day. Then my recent visit for my cleaning, I've waited half an hour. The hygienist cleaned my teeth did it so fast and she was done in 20 minutes. It's seemed she was rushing. she didn't even floss my teeth. Then my billing was a messed. I've changed my dental insurance, and I have to claim it myself. So, when I looked at my bill to claim it to the insurance the amount was so high (ridiculously high). From my previous dentist that I've claimed, it's the same amount I was billed and the same for the insurance. Also, my account still shown that I have previous balance. He told me that they are still waiting for the insurance to pay. That should have been claimed last year in December (more than 6 months). So, I've called my insurance yesterday (6/17/2026) and she informed me that there's no such claim for that month or any month of 2025. The only reason I've changed dentist is because my previous one retired and I've been with him for more than 35 years.

However, the crown that was put on at MDS less than six months ago fell out and it was suggested that I go back to let them fix it to avoid paying out of pocket. I should have just paid the money. The appointment was made for noon. Apparently the doctor takes his lunch at noon. Has anybody told the people who set appointments? Why are appointments being made for when the doctor is not in the building? Why is the doctor not checking his schedule before leaving to see if he has a patient waiting? After the hygienist/assisstant did as much as she could do without the doctor present, she let the doctor know I was waiting. He was already out at lunch, but she said he'd be back within 10 minutes. I sat there for another hour and a half before he came strolling in, no care in the world for the fact that I had been waiting for a total of two hours at that point. Just a "well I take lunch at noon" as if it was MY FAULT the appointment was scheduled at that time. Not only that, while I was waiting nobody came in to see how I was doing or provide an update. It's almost as if I was forgotten about. I've never had a GREAT experience here, but they've been okay enough and the studio is close to my house. The hoops I've jumped through this year, though, had definitely already turned me off completely. Today's experience just reified my decision to never come back. If this crown falls off again, I'll just pay out of my pocket to get it fixed this time (and maybe then I won't have anymore issues with it).

They canceled…read moreall three of them while I was standing in the office at the time I was to be seen didn't let me know ahead of time so I lost my time and money getting off work and gas getting there ON TIME for all 3 appointments, to be canceled, with me standing in their office without any warning, no call no nothing just cancel without any thought of me and what it took for me to get off work and be there on time. They make patients pay a fee when they don't show up for their appointments. Maybe it's time we start making people like them. Pay us for them wasting our time.

I read my EOB and realize I had a credit on my account. I called the office and the woman I spoke with said yes you have a credit and we will send you a refund. Two years later I receive a bill from them. I waited for couple months for someone to explain my bill. The office staff was unable to explain why I had a balance. I was told they did not have a office manager and someone would call me back. I had to do my own research and after speaking with my insurance company they paid my claim out of network. That's were the credit was coming from. The billing department should have resubmitted a claim when they received payment, letting the insurance co. know claims was processed incorrect. All they had to say is---we left a voicemail on yesterday. Well even yesterday is too late. Horrible service and I haven't even been seen.
