We ordered a floral delivery from Concord Flower Shop recently, for a funeral. We are not from the area but found this shop online. It was terrific! The arrangement was beautiful and just the type we had hoped for (the proprietor's husband asked for our preferences when we placed the order by phone.) The customer service, as I just mentioned, was excellent. He offered great suggestions and answered all questions very well. The whole process was seamless. I've used this shop to order fresh flower deliveries, house plants, and walk in custom bouquets. The products are fresh and gorgeous and ordering for delivery is very easy. Horrible customer service with a very mean-spirited woman, Helen. I went there because of the nice gentleman who has always been sweet and kind. Friday I received horrendous flowers: old and brown edged and the foliage torn and disgusting. Helen told me it was mother nature. She has the worst customer service I have seen in a long time. When I finally said, "I love the man who is so nice but you always managed to make me feel bad about myself when I am around you." "Whatever," was her reply. Avoid this disgraceful floral shop with tired and old flowers and this rude behavior. She does not represent Concord but rather a very mean spirited and sad human being. read more

Flowers were supposed to be delivered for my wife's birthday on Saturday, but were not. I called on Monday and after the lady checked, she called me back and without the slightest intention of apology made it clear it was my fault because (listen to this well) they expected me to call them and let them know I am home to accept the delivery. Good luck using them for your important, on time, flower delivery! PS: Now the flowers were delivered (Monday mid-day). Well, you might think: understanding they made a mistake, they arranged a new flower arrangement and delivered nice, fresh flowers..NO! Not really. The arrangement is most probable the one prepared on Saturday morning or Friday evening. Flowers were delivered "tired" and a couple already way on their way out. read more

Have gotten flowers there a few times. Once I stopped in and ordered some and came back to pick them up. Didn't realize when they were wrapped up that they gave me the older flowers that had browning edges. Maybe because I had come from the gym, they thought that I was not a Concord resident. Also received some via delivery and they were not fresh and beautiful. Agree that the attitude was superior and off-putting. Perhaps it is their business model to give people the older flowers first. That might be good for them, but it is a lousy customer experience. I will never go there again. read more

My family has dealt with Concord Flower Shop and Helen for years. From the first time I did a Boxwood Tree workshop in 2000, to the flowers they did for our daughter's wedding in 2009, the quality and professionalism, not to mention the friendliness, has been superior. In between those years I have ordered flowers for delivery for two companies, over five bosses. Never a problem. Helen even has a list of other florists to use in other towns, in case you need an out of state delivery. This is small business at its best, as Helen and most other florists don't like the "big unnamed florist.com" as they charge more for their service and you get very little flowers for your money. BTW, my daughter and I have done Boxwood, and other workshops every year since that first time in 2000. You can't go wrong with Concord Flower Shop. read more

Flower arrangement was lovely, but pricey and unwilling to follow simple directions. A little snooty to boot.

I travel out of town many times a month and I have tried to have flowers delivered by many florist shops in the past without much luck. About 3 years ago I was driving through west Concord and stopped in this shop. There were many beautiful arrangements both in the cooler and out on the front table. There were two small vases of sweet peas. Both my mother and my wife LOVE sweet peas so I bought both. I chatted with the lady (Helen) while she boxed and wrapped them so they would stay upright. The care and concern was refreshing. . When another customer came in she said "hello"and "we will be with you shortly" to the other person. All the time keeping at what was being done for me. At the end she gave me her card and said they have a flower of the month club that can be tailored for any schedule and all varieties - and it sounded like something that could save me some time. I signed up before I left and I continue to get raves from the two most special ladies in my life. Special care, remembering me, knowing the likes and dislikes of the recipients... What more could you want. I have told everyone I know about this gem of a shop. It's nice to feel like you are the best thing to happen to them that day!
