The price to bowl was a little high compared to the other lanes in the area. The bar was ok, fair pricing and decent service. No servers in the bowling alley is a huge bummer. read more

Always enjoy coming to hang out with friends and enjoy a round on the lanes. They handle parties here pretty well and we all have a great time. Only thing lacking was the service at the bar. It's been a long time since I've been here like years. I've noticed it's definitely changed and unfortunately I cannot say for the better. Visited a little before 6pm and our group decided to belly up the bar. Service just wasn't great and it wasn't busy as there were just two other people at the bar. Of course as the evening went on, it began to get busier, and you could tell the bartender was overwhelmed, and mixed up my food orders. It was a little chaotic and you could tell the bartender was feeling the same way. The food I did receive was good and served hot. Concord Lanes is a large bowling alley with many lanes! I have been a number of times and the bar service has not been great each time, I'm not sure if it is due to a lack of staffing, but putting an order in for a drink at the bar has taken upward of 15 minutes. The food comes out relatively quickly but is served without silverware (unless asked for) and our boneless wings have come without ranch/blue cheese twice now, thus leading to have to go up to the bar and ask for silverware and ranch and having to wait for a bartender to come over.. The atmosphere in the bowling alley itself is family friendly and fun, but the bar/restaurant area could improve their service read more

Niece and I went 2.15.25. Bowl by the hour $50 2 people got in 2 games seems steep. Watched a lady take forever to bus a table and then never wiped it off. The bartender was almost engaged. The place was pretty dead and the staff couldn't seem to keep up and we never saw a server the whole time we were bowling. We were going to eat there after bowling, but my niece didn't want to eat there the service was so poor we figured the food would be the same and we went down the road. read more

Started bowling here 2x a week for almost three years. The food is great , the folks are friendly and the bathrooms are always clean. Unfortunately there's not much for little kids to do because they don't have an arcade like other alleys. But other than that it's always fun. read more

Tin of fun. The front desk was great, making the reservation was super easy, extending our time was equally easy. The whole place was super clean and family friendly. The food is what you'd expect from any sports bar type place; good, unpretentious, but not fancy. decent but not huge beer list. All the lanes were well functioning and maintained. Pretty standard bowling alley. Nothing special but nothing super negative either. The have quite a few lanes and I went on a Saturday night. It was busy but not overly crowded which was nice. Our lane kept malfunctioning which was quite annoying because someone in our group had to keep going up to tell them every few turns. This made things a bit slower. Some people in the group ordered some food. Artichoke dip was very basic, the wings were a bit soggy, and the pizza was super greasy. I even blotted the pizza but then grease was still running down my hand. I would definitely not go here for the food ever. But, I feel that's standard for most bowling alley's they are not known for the food. read more

I'm not usually a beer drinker but Concord Lanes has the coldest beer BY FAR around...it's amazing. So good. You just have to have one when you arrive! The people and staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is fun. Burgers and pizza are great here too. All around it's an excellent place to stop if your in South Saint Paul. read more

First and LAST time going here ever! 1. When we got there, we asked if we could book two lanes for our group of 6 (plus 4 young children) and because we were going to have more people come join us later...we were denied it because according to the girl who helped us, "no, it is 6 people per lane. The others can just book the lane next to you guys when they get here," and when we asked why, she said because that how it is...it's basically the policy. . That's the first I've heard EVER bc all other bowling alleys we've gone to, they let us get two lanes without a problem. 2. She gave us a left lane next to a VERY large group of teenagers to the left of us and a family to our right. It was very crowded and we were quite upset when there were plenty of open lanes where she could've placed us . I went to go ask her, kindly, if she could switch us over to our "twin" right lane because it's too crowded bowling right next to a group of like 15 vs a group of 5 and she wouldn't let...BECAUSE she said it's our twin lane for our group later to book so we can't switch. It just doesn't make any sense to me and at this point I'm getting irritated. I then asked her if she can move us further where there was more room where the empty lanes were and she did. I just don't get why you would "save" a lane for us but won't let us pay for it and use it and why you would put us right in between two groups when there was plenty of open lanes further down. 3. Our pin reset kept making errors about 5 times for some reason and we had to go ask them to reset from their counters and eventually asked to switch to our "right twin lane". Also our other friends/family notified us that they weren't going to make it & we were stuck with one lane to play. 4. We ordered food and drinks and had half a pitcher of beer, cola and pizza left with an hour left before they close. The girl from before just decides to come and pour our cups with beer back into the pitcher and take both pitchers of beer and soda without a single word. It was the rudest and weirdest thing EVER. I tell her that we are NOT done with our beverages yet and asked her why is she taking our PAID items. She then asks me what time it is (even though she was on her phone the whole time before her entire act) and I told her we still have an hour left and she gives such ass excuses to her actions with such attitude: "I thought it was later than that so I started cleaning up and it's 12 now so technically we now own these items". I just had it at this point and I tell her that it's RUDE to just take customers PAID food without asking or telling them AND to have the nerve to say they now own these paid items. I have never in my life seen that or heard of that. They announced last call to BUY drinks was at midnight and to buy food was at around 11. They never mentioned "oh and by the way we will own your paid items after midnight even though we close at 1". So, she just walks away after putting our pitchers back without apologizing for her crappy attitude and rude services. 5. Lastly, she comes back around to ask us if we need take out boxes for our pizza and we tell her "Yes" and she walks off mimicking us "No? yes? no? Yes?" When we CLEARLY just told her Yes. It's as if she did it all on purpose so we would pay for our time there and then get treated VERY poorly to leave within the hour. I just don't get it but what I do know is that we will NEVER be back. I hope they retrain their staff to be more friendly and POLITE and hopefully put some common sense into them as well. ‍ read more

Bowled a tournament here full 32 lanes and not a single server. Also ordered a burger paid 9 dollars for it to get a tiny thin burger looking like McDonald's burgers with the largest bun and that was it. Not worth it one bit. We go here quite often after church on Saturday with my parents for a bite to eat. It's a nice laid back atmosphere. There's a wall between the lanes & the restaurant, so the noise level is lower. The food is always good. A couple of my favorites are the Turkey Melt, and the Chicken Ranch Wrap. The wrap is actually two (not one cut in half), making it quite easy to bring one home for lunch the next day. The fries are also good, but my parents find them too salty. They've asked for them without salt, and they gladly prepare them that way. The only thing I would mention is that my husband has ordered a Dr. Pepper several times, but it seems like something must be wrong with the mechanism that controls the mixing of the pop parts, because it always tastes funny. They were quite busy on our visit due to kids league tournament going on, and the kitchen staff wasn't quite up to the challenge. Sara and the other woman whose name I didn't catch working the bar/grille area was really friendly and welcoming... as were a few of the regulars at the bar. I can't say I was overly impressed with the cold french dip my husband was served, or the cheesesteak I got, also on the luke warm side of things... but the waffle fries were fantastic, and the great service from the ladies made up for the disappointing meal while we waited for the kids to finish up. read more

Had a horrible experience at this bowling alley. We had a big group and our lanes kept acting up (not returning balls, not collecting pins) and when we asked to move to a different lane, the lady behind the desk refused us and said that because some people that were bowling DID NOT PAY. EVERYONE had bowling shoes (rented from them, of course) so yes, everyone in our group paid. She finally moved us to a different lane after we showed her that everyone HAD bowling shoes on. Avoid this shit hole all cost, there are not words to describe how we feel about being accused of not paying. On top of that, the lanes are horrible with glitching and malfunctioning every 3 rounds. Was there again last night after the snow/rain had stopped. Minimal effort was made to clear the sidewalk up to the doors. After watching a woman who had been drinking almost slip on the ice I informed the counter staff that they need to put down salt or ice melt. Was met with annoyance from the person working at the desk, and told he'd get to it later. This will be my last year bowling league at this center unless there is a complete turnaround in staff attitude. read more

Bowling service overall is great. Been here plenty of times and it's always a blast, otherwise the food and drinks service is horrible. Even when it's slow, the bartenders mess up the orders and expect us to pay for tap water, specifically the older women in the evening. Waiting time for food is understandable, but not when ordering food and drinks. They will see you sitting there and completely walk around ignoring you. I used to tip when we first came here but after months with continuous disappointing service from the bar area (only way you can order food also), I honestly don't know what to say. read more
