No walk can compare to running around on these off leash trails. It is a great place to take them in the summer because they can splash in the stream too. Best of all, after over a year of going to The Hollow at the least once a week, I still haven't met a dog nor person that hasn't been friendly. LOVE this place! When you get your exhausted but happy pups back home they will be comatose in their contentment.

There are two separate play areas: one for small and shy dogs and another for large and playful dogs. There is parking and picnic tables. We meet so many friendly dogs and people. Several of the visitors had come over from Pottstown. They said this was their preferred park and worth the short drive. Both of my dogs, one young and one senior had a blast. They napped for hours when we got home.

The astroturf is well loved and the splash pads and other play gray tires have seen better days, but while it's kinda gross to us, my dog doesn't seem to mind one bit. He's just happy to run around and chase other dogs. And I'm just happy there's a place nearby where we can let him be off leash and run as fast as he can. He's only 20 pounds so we usually stick to the park side for smaller dogs, but sometimes there aren't any littles to play with, and since our dude isn't intimidated by the bigger pups, we feel comfortable letting him play over there occasionally. If you're a stickler for rules, this isn't the park for you - people frequently take big dogs to the little dog side (sometimes they're older, have anxiety, etc.) and vice versa. As others have stated, there are tons of balls to play with and water dishes and water fountains for both people and doggos.

I saw one of the lemonade stand people, A HUGE lady was smoking a cigarette and didn't wash there hands after smoking and returning to cut the lemons, GROSS, DISGUSTING, That is not an example of how to run a beverage business, YET I bet they want other venders to follow the rules when THEY DON'T. When I saw that I threw our cup away. The water tasted to me like spicket water with a funny after taste like pottstown water, not even purified water that has been treated to drink. Just seemed to be the lazy way of making lemonade. Just BLAH. It took us just shy of an hour to go through, but we could've spent longer if we had read every piece of material and took in every photo in the collection.
