After church service at Eastside last night, our family had reserved a couple lanes here at Concourse. I was stoked because I remember how much fun we used to have here back in the day. When we entered, I was surprised at the renovations they had performed. LED lighting, new lounge style seating, and some really upscale pipe and drapery that really made each set of lanes feel really private like VIP booths. Everyone was hungry and we relied on the usual bar favorites: Chicken Wings, Clucks + Fries, and Pizza. The food was AMAZING! We RE-ordered the Chicken tenders 3x because we mowed through them so quickly. The pizza tasted fresh, real cheese, and crispy pepperonis. This is obviously NOT your usual bar kitchen. Drinks were on point, and a full bar was stocked, we only wish they served beer by the pitcher. Bowling wise, I was impressed they had a large range of rental shoes, even my daughter who's 4 was slapping around in her snazzy kicks, she was very happy. The boards and displays were easy to setup and use, LED lit pins, and auto bumpers for the little ones. Concourse was the ideal spot for our holiday with the family and we'll definitely be back for more as soon as possible. read more

We reserved a couple lanes online for a little friends/family outing yesterday. I like how updated the place is with lighting, easy score screens, lounge seating and tables-plenty of space to spread out. We did 2 hours and had plenty of time to play many games. We ordered a couple appetizers directly from our seat via the QR code so that was convenient. The bartenders were very friendly and nice. My only complaint is that I ordered a lemon drop martini and the rim was coated with salt instead of sugar...which is definitely wrong and didn't taste good. We really wanted to take our 3 year old bowling again since she had so much fun the last time we did, but we decided to try a different bowling alley than usual and ended up here. Bowling shoes are mandatory, so we had to pay for those. After paying for 2 adult shoes and 1 toddler shoe and 1 hr on a lane, it cost somewhere around $53!! That was considerably higher than the ~$30 we paid at our local bowling alley. We got to our lane and got our shoes on, then my husband went to grab the bowling balls and get a staff member to bring the child bowling ramp. We got bumpers set up for her any everything so she could have fun. The lanes were clean and had a black curtain separating each lane seating area, which was kind of a nice touch. We didn't order any food or anything and focused just on the bowling. Toward the end of our game, the lane froze. It swept the pins then the arm was stuck in that position. We had to call for help and lost a few minutes from our bowling time because of it. Luckily we were able to finish our game before the hour was up, then we left. It wasn't bad, just a little pricey. I think we will keep going to our less expensive local place, but Concourse is not bad at all and we had fun. read more

Came here over the weekend for my friend's birthday. This is probably one of the nicest bowling alleys I've ever been to. It's pretty clean, the amenities are up to date, and the most of the workers were really nice. The best part about the place was that it had partitions for each lane, separating you from the strangers next to you. It really gave us a more intimate experience. I would've given 5 stars if it weren't for the security guard who was hassling us when we got alcohol. We ordered prior to security checking for ids and gave us a hard time, so when we ordered again, we were questioned as to why we didn't have wristbands. The bartender had to step in and clear the situation. Another reason is the lack of mask enforcement. It is OC, but it was a little uncomfortable seeing people walk around without it. read more

I was in the mood for bowling and I was the Orange County area. So I used my trusty yelp app to look for bowling. I chose Concourse bowling for the night of fun and games. Concourse bowling is kind of hidden as it's not facing the street. If you miss the sign, you'll have to drive around again. Don't be looking for the building and it looks like a generic white building. Parking lot is huge so I wouldn't worry too much about parking. So walking up to the building there is security in front that check for ID, you get a wrist band to drink. At the counter, bowling appears to only be by the hour. They don't have a "per game" offer like other bowling alleys. The hourly rate seems to be good for everyone in your party, just separate shoe rentals. There are actually a lot of bowling lanes here, and they don't only have bowling on the inside. They also have claw machines and pool. The bowling itself was okay and here's why. The balls and the tables are sticky. They need to clean their balls better. The machines are really old and really slow. Once you finish a game and need to reset it, it takes a good 5-10 minutes for it to restart. Since this is by the hour, you're wasting a lot of time waiting for resets. I was only able to get about 4 games in within the hour. The food here looked and smelled good. I didn't order any food but that is an option here. The line for ordering is pretty slow. They need more cash registers open. It took me about 15 minutes to order drinks. Overall, it's an okay experience besides the sticky and slow machines. Since this place charges more, I expected a better experience. read more

The young staff are very friendly but the older manager with the big grey beard could use some professional advice when trying to be accommodating to people paying over $400 for a birthday party. They expect us to reserve 3 lanes and an area for a large party and they do not provide pitchers or buckets for large drink orders. So I had to wait 30 mins in line at a crowded bar missing my entire game to get drinks for 25 people It's unbelievable how rude management was when I addressed this issue. My problem is every other bowling alley I go to including garden walk in Anaheim and lucky strike have large drink order options so there isn't an excuse. So I won't be spending my money here and I will just to another bowling place that will be more accommodating to a large party. My kids of course had fun bowling and the waiting staff was nice but when your manager can't even be understanding of an issue - I am over it! read more

This is a fun place for any type of gathering. We came on a Sunday evening. We brought a group of friends with kids to bowl. Each set of lanes is semi private. There are dividers between seating. Free water cups! The food is reasonably priced. Not a ton of healthy options. The peach salad and shrimp tacos were delicious and refreshing. There is a full bar. Service is quick. Bowling is pretty pricey, but it is pricey anywhere. They do have special deals on certain evenings. read more

Wow! Even though we came out to bowl on a Tuesday night, which is league night, we lucked out on the last lane to a fun night of bowling. It gets really busy and crowded on League night so I suggest trying to get there early. Each lane was in use which made it that much cooler. The staff was very pleasant. From the guy who we paid to reserve our lane to the hostesses/waitresses at the little snack bar/restaurant. We ended up paying for 2 games and decided to get some snacks to enjoy during our game. We ordered the kids mini corn dogs with french fries, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks. Each had a great taste and great flavors. After ordering, the food came out pretty fast which was even a plus especially with how busy it was. The bowling itself is really nice and it looks like there has been some renovations done. The furniture is nice and clean and the equipment is in good condition too. For your little bowlers, make sure you let the worker know which players they have to activate the bumpers for so they can have there fair shot of winning too. There are plenty of TVs throughout the alley so if you are hoping to miss that game you are looking forward to, you came to the right place. Plus, there is a full bar. This bowling center continues to underwhelm. They prefer open bowlers simply because league bowlers expect decent running machines that don't damage $250 bowling balls. Went tonight. Guy at the front told me no drinks. I had a water jug. Told him I'm sick and need water. He wouldn't have it. I shouldn't have to explain my medical condition to justify being able to bring in water. I decided to walk away. Later it dawned on me that perhaps they could have provided me water inside. The guy at front had no intention of offering that explanation. I can't blame him, he's just there to collect a check, it ain't his business. We used to go here all the time before COVID. We had our kids' party here (teen athletes) and it went really well. I didn't get the party package, but did reserve 2 lanes online and ordered food and drinks when we were there. Had to change lane reservations for our large party 3 times due to conflicts and illness, and each time I emailed or called for whatever question I had, the events manager, Peter, was super helpful and understanding! Went today at 3pm and lanes 10-30 were revered for a league. As a person in a league myself I understand that lanes are reserved for that reason. We didn't get a line until 5:20pm. The league they reserved the lanes for started at 6pm. Why would they reserve all those lanes for a league that starts 3hrs later only for us to hear the league people get mad at us that we are taking to long when the Bolwing alley sold us those lanes forcing them to start their practice later . If those reserved lanes were open, we would be in and out before any asshole people from Sunday league would get mad at us. read more

We had a terrible experience yesterday. - very young staff was extremely unfriendly and rude - young lady at the food counter said she would bring our pizza to our lane, so I tipped her $6. When my pizza was ready, she just called my name instead, and there were no other customers around. - adults are not allowed to have bumpers because their bumpers are so dilapidated that they're afraid you'll throw too hard and break them. (That was a first) - manager walks around looking like a sourpuss. You can clearly see where the staff takes their queues to be rude from. They tell you shoes are included in the price but they don't tell you they are charging you for 8 pairs of shoes if you need them or not. So what should have cost us $72 ended up costing us $150. We've only been here a few times in the summer when they had their "kids bowl free" program. After coming a few times my daughter wanted to have her birthday party here. It was so easy to book a reservation ($50 deposit required, but will be added to final bill at the end) with We booked the Extreme Package which included: 3 hours of fun time 4 private lane suite (they put these curtains) Unlimited games 2 slices of pizza per bowler 1 additional large pizza (you can use for non-bowlers or for bowlers) 1 soda per bowler plus one refill A new bowling pin w/balloons 10 tokens per bowler for the arcade We got a reminder/confirmation call the day before the party just to see if our count has changed and if we had any questions. On the day of the party, once we got there a host was waiting to help us right away. He took our food order for the bowlers and non-bowlers right away and explained that it would take at least 30 mins. While we were waiting for the food, the kids started to bowl and there was staff who helped us set up the kids names and games. Once the food arrived it it was great! The pizzas were hot and cheesy, fries tasty (just enough salt), not too greasy and veggie platter - veggies were fresh. The communication between our host was great! He introduced me to his cover who would be in charge while he went on his 15 min break. Instead of just disappearing and assume we'll be fine for 15 mins he took the time and effort to make sure that we could find someone if we needed anything. All-in-all I'm super happy we booked here and I will be booking and highly recommending future parties here!! read more
