Ben said he could design it, even though my front door is in a turret and involves curvature. He designed the railing and the support for the awning to match (incorporating flowers and embellishments to mirror my garden), and added a sheet metal roof (nicely powder coated) with a subtle gutter to replace the one that had to be removed to attach the awning. His workers were great and the front door area of my 1929 Tudor has been greatly improved due to this project. It was a bit of a leap of faith to take and I'm glad I did it.

It was not well built originally and was sagging near a slope at the rear of my property and putting pressure on the fence posts (5 had already broken and had to be replaced after the wall was fixed). The great service started with the initial quote and inspection where Jas was the only one out of several bids to use a soil probe to test if/where the soil was hard enough. He was also the only one to recommend digging deep enough to get to the harder soil and adding 1-2 layers of concrete blocks to better reinforce the wall. As several have said, the crew was professional and efficient. They were able to finish the job in less than one day. And to top it all off, the price was very fair. I'd happily hire him again for any future work.

I paid $10K more than I was expecting for the project I hired him for. 2. If you're in the Seattle area, you'll be considered a hassle. Sami is in Bothell and doesn't like to have to come out to Seattle unless absolutely necessary. 3. Be prepared to work at their schedule. Many times I was told that Sami or his workers would be at my house at a certain time. No show. Or several hours later. Sometimes even bright and early on a Saturday. 4. Do a THOROUGH walk-through before dismissing the project as complete. I made the mistake of paying slightly less because ceiling tiles were on order to complete my project. It's been four weeks, I've followed up w/ no response. So there's still an area on my project that is incomplete. Quality of work was average. Time to finish the project was long, very long. I've been working with them for over 7 months...for a basement remodel. As a woman, I also made sure to have friends check the work of his contractors, which oftentimes needed to be redone.

Every detail was carefully attended to: they even hand-sanded the clear cedar fenceposts,(I had no idea that they went to those kinds of lengths), and the detailing on the on the custom lattice was simply above and beyond. This fence is built to stay gorgeous for a very long time. Other reasons we want to use these guys when we're ready for the next couple of landscape/deck projects: * Communication: Dan responds promptly to calls, texts, email. Onsite, Before the start of work, Dan explains exactly what to expect to happen, what the likely time-frame is, and all the contingencies to keep in mind. We always knew what to expect. I can't overstate how much peace of mind that gives you when you have a construction team working on your property. If there is any question about any details, Dan checks to make sure he's doing exactly what you want. (SO much better than someone taking a guess and just going with it!) He offers his well-informed opinion, which was quite helpful for some design decisions, and he also respects and carefully executes what you specify. At the end of the day/stage of installation, Dan recaps what was done, and what's next. Since every site and every project is different, this was incredibly valuable. We were completely informed about everything that happened. * Worksite / Organization: The guys were scrupulous about keeping the area looking perfectly tidy the entire time they worked. At the end of the day, the place looked better than before they started. * Amazing customer service: Dan went to some lengths to accommodate a challenging schedule; he fit us in early, and then he and his team worked pretty much dawn to dusk to get the work done quickly and well. I asked for a last second hardware change out, and even though the gate was being completed in his shop *even as we spoke*, he made the change happen without batting an eye. *Nice guys.
