Part of the work being done was digging and pouring footings for a steel carport and he knew it was imperative to get the bolts perfectly lined up. I witnessed him and his helper fight the concrete to ensure it was perfect. Once it's poured, there is limited time to get those bolts perfect before hardening sets in. He did it. Unfortunately, the visible black cord that was on the side of mailbox looked increasingly tacky each time I looked at it. My husband and I racked our brains on ways we could hide/camouflage the cord and we finally decided the best way would be to dig out the mortar between stones and hide the cord that way, running it to the back of the mailbox .
