Concrete Hero did my garage floor a few years ago and did a great job. It looked awesome at first, but after a while, a few issues started to pop up. To his credit, the owner came out, took a look, and did what he could to fix it--no excuses, no attitude, just wanted to make it right. Eventually, the problem got worse. Instead of trying to dodge it or blame something else, he completely owned it and redid the whole floor. He told me this was the first time he'd seen something like this happen, and I believe him. But more importantly, he promised I'd be happy when it was all said and done--and I totally am. You don't find that kind of accountability often. I wouldn't go with anyone else for this kind of work. I contacted Concrete Hero to raise my patio that was sinking. Over a week goes by, then I get an email from Peter that the job cannot be done at this time because of a column on the patio that does not have an expansion joint. My issues are: The lack of follow up to get a quote. That 2 different people did not recognize the issue originally or if they did, not communicate it to us. Was this from lack of experience or knowledge? In the email, that the job cannot be done at this time. Is the issue going to magically fix itself later? Due to sidewalk sinking the front porch step was 11 inches instead of code 7 3/4 which was difficult for many to step up even with a handrail installed a year ago. I called for an appointment to have someone come to look at my garage floor that is cracking and is not even. He told me the only thing that he suggests to do is clean out the cracks and concrete caulk them. He would not suggest raising and lowering to even it out. Communication is very poor with this company. I paid them to raise the concrete in my sidewalk in a couple places and they came out and raised it. Within a week, I noticed in one place it was uneven again. I called them and emailed them multiple times and after several weeks they finally responded and told they would come out and look. When they came out, they told me they could not fix because of some reason. "It was as good as it was going to get". I called another very popular concrete lifting company and they came out and said that wasn't true and were shaking their heads. I then left several emails for Concrete Hero and nobody responded. Seems once they do a job they don't want to come back and fix their work. They have ghosted me. read more

Be forewarned!! SHADY business!! Chris (estimator) and Pete (owner of the company) came out to my house while I was away to give me an estimate for raising my stoop, sealing a crack, and sealing my concrete sidewalk in the front of my home. The next day, I called Chris to follow-up on the quote and the told me he took pics of my patio in the backyard and forwarded them on to someone who could help seal them- all without my consent!! I sent several emails to Pete and called his office and left a message for him to call me back with the secretary. I did not receive a reply. I sent him one last email telling him I have not gotten a reply and was going to file a complaint and post reviews. I finally got a short reply basically justifying their actions not an apology for violating our privacy and our home. He said, "I understand your concerns. I was with Chris when we came to complete the estimate and he was trying to be helpful by referring you to another service provider who can assist with the pavers. I will make sure he deletes the photos. Sorry for any discomfort this may have caused." There is no acknowledgement of any wrong doing or invasion of privacy or being unprofessional. Yeah, it could have been nice IF they had asked first BEFORE deciding to roam our property, take pictures AND share them with some unkonwn person to me!! I thought that going with a local business, there would be more care for my home, but it was the exact opposite! In a day when there are so many break-ins, thefts, robberies, and distrust in this world, how is it ok to come to someone's house and do this??
