I'm not your typical client due to the fact I'm licensed Plumbing Contractor in CA. Therefore my expectations were high and I was very attentive to detail on perhaps phases of the job the normal client does not pay attention to. Steve and his team did a great job with my project and they were easy to work with. Along the project I asked for minor adjustments I wanted from the original plan, and steve was flexible with me and was able to accommodate my request. Besides the Great Finish work they did: Steve also had great ideas that were able to enhance the overall project. For example: the wraparound steps. It was a nightmare and torture. 1. Their workers arrived at 12:00 and leave at 2:00pm. Every day work for 2 hours. their esitimated time is around 4 business days and it turns out to be 1.5 month. 2. Communication is nightmare: they don't accept phones. They are busy. 3. NO Appear: They don't appear without telling you. You cannot trust. There was a week: they promised to come everyday and didnot come for everyday. Their workers were idle there, but the business owner just did not want them to come without you paying addtionally. 4. Total price: I trusted and paid in quarter and deposit. it turned out I have to pay the total payment for the most important concrete pour day. I paid 3000 more than agreement. If you don't pay, they will not finish the work. 5. Result: I am not sure the smooth finish looks like the above, I don't think I can directly polish it. They don't have patience apparantly even for the most important step. read more

Steve and his crew were completely fantastic. My job was HUGE. So much work. Demolishing a massive expanse of concrete drive with a pretty good slope and replacing it with a massive stamped driveway. They were right on schedule, which was a kind of complex taking into account my needs and the weather. I needed a 10'x12' concrete pad poured. I thought they did a good job but should have inspected it closer. First off, they splashed concrete on my redwood fence that I only noticed after it had dried. I had to gouge the wood to get off. They came back a couple days later to pick up their framing boards but didn't attempt to clean up the area any further. Then the first time it rained, I discovered the pad is pretty concave and water pools in the middle instead of running off. I would definitely not use these guys again nor recommend them to anyone. *Edited to add that this is indeed a hot tub pad and not a patio. But, either way, water pooling in the middle is a pretty basic no-no. read more

I had Steve come out April 2018 to pour concrete on the side of my house and had asked him about sloping the concrete so it would drain away from the house. Well it's finally rainy season and a portion of the concrete is sloped towards the foundation so all the water is pooling in that area. I called AND messaged Steve 3 times on 11/23, 11/29, 12/3 with no response in call or text. I even gave him the benefit of the doubt and called and left a message on 1/6 (A month later) and still no response. I remember he had fast response times to get the job back in April so I was expecting the same but I think this is unacceptable. He seemed good to talk to but I wouldn't recommend his work, he is unavailable or doesn't make good on it. Should I hear back from him, I will update. read more

I called Concrete Warriors on 3/23 to schedule an appt for them to come to my home to quote a stamped concrete patio project. Steve answered the call and said he'd need to check his schedule to see when he could come out, and was supposed to call me back within an hour. I emailed him the details of our project (which is nothing out of the ordinary), and haven't heard from him since. I sent him a couple of texts as a follow-up, but dead silence. We had a driveway width extension, sidewalks wrapping the left and right sides of our house and a ramp in the backyard connecting to our existing concrete slab. Steve stopped by my place to give me a quote on my staircase that is cracking and my driveway that has a giant crack in it. We immediately hit it off. He is super awesome, honest, and really friendly. He was honest and told me I didn't need to get the work done right away because the staircase wasn't too damaged and still had a few years left on it. Same conclusion with the driveway. The quotes he gave me (for when I would need to get them fixed eventually) seemed fair and reasonable. I had Steve come out to do some concrete work at my house. They showed up and seemed to work pretty quick, but afterwards I noticed that the work wasn't clean and was pretty sloppy. I called him to see if he would fix it and though he would say he would come out, he would have excuses to reschedule and eventually never returned our calls or texts. We recently had the sewer lateral pipe replaced in the front yard of our house. Unfortunately, a 2x3 foot hole in our walkway had to be cut in order to access the start of the pipe. This left us with a walkway which needed to be patched with as good of a concrete match as possible. We looked for a professional to do the job and Steve was up to the challenge at a very reasonable price. I was impressed at how well he was able to match the new concrete to the concrete of the existing walkway that was likely poured decades ago. Steve took his time and did the job to a high standard.
