Everything you want in an ice cream shop. I ordered a banana split to share with my husband. They were out of vanilla, but they let us pick any flavor to substitute, which was great. They took care to put everything together and didn't skimp on any toppings. 5/5, would recommend!

Ona hot day and needed a little pick me up and a drive thru with kids, this was a score! Made a couple of trips here during our visit in st Augustine. A variety of ice creams and milkshake options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is outdoor seating too or some spots to eat in the car.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Quick service and friendly staff!

Large portions dependent on who serves you. Small sizes were $5.25 decent ice cream was a bit flavorless. I got the creamsicle, raimbow sherbet, peach, brownie caramel in a waffle bowl. The waffle bowl tasted cinnamony. I love cinnamon but not on a waffle bowl. Finally tried it.

Absolutely no complaints from our group of six - I had the banana crunch (real banana ice cream mixed with walnuts and chocolate flakes) I love it. The staff here was extremely friendly and accommodating - the prices are expensive as is everything else in 2024 but the quality is good and the portions were more than fair. Plenty of customers with smiles on their faces during my our visit. Plenty of parking with easy access and a drive-through window.

Not the greatest picture as this was at night and Cone Heads was so crowded that I couldn't snap a pic without it including random people in the background. Great ice cream! There are a variety of flavors being offered which is always nice, and there was also tons of different cones and waffle bowls as well. What I really appreciated about the ice cream was how it's homemade, creamy, and stayed hard and intact as I took my time to eat it. Cheaper and lower fat ice creams will melt immediately, but their ice cream was awesome, and I really enjoyed! The prices were also reasonable which was nice, certainly recommend!

Wow. This place blew me away! I came here with my family on Saturday and it did not disappoint. The icecream was fantastic, I got mom's banana which tastes just like banana pudding! Staff is excellent and very attentive. Don't be scared off by the long lines they go by quickly!

Cool Funky Sign. Easy to spot from the road at 10pm

Let me tell you about this amazing lil ice cream shop right on the beach. My mom and I were craving some ice cream at the oddest hour (almost 10pm on a Thursday). We did a quick Yelp search and we see a shop 6 minutes away. Of course we took forever to actually get out of the door and we realized we were cutting it close to closing time (15 mins). I called and we begged them to hold off on closing for two lil old ladies craving some ice cream. Not only did the whole Cone Heads crew have the best attitudes, they were also very helpful working with us and our indecisiveness. Mom and I couldn't settle on 1 scoop each, so we settled on 3 pints and 2 scoops of goodness. Watermelon sorbet, lemon sorbet and a dairy free toasted coconut (TDF!), plus.....blueberry cheesecake and orange dream. Needless to say....We love cone heads!! We appreciate the great customer service!! Thanks for making our night!! See you again soon

The space is great, the staff was excellent, and the food was far superior to everything else we had in the St. Augustine area! This is all made more impressive by the fact we went on Father's Day, without a reservation, and still had an overwhelmingly positive and above expected experience. Food really was excellent, not pictured is the fish of the day N' grits, and man can they do grits here! Recommend! It was all excellent, highly recommended!

We stopped by for dinner on a Friday night, reservations were hard to get at standard dinner time, so we made a 4:30 p.m. reservation. When we arrived, the restaurant was less crowded - when we did leave about an hour later, it was much busier. The setting itself is plain inside - with such a beautiful outdoor setting, the inside looks more like a hospital cafeteria, with very bad acoustics. I don't know who designed the inside, but it's a very un-Floridian setting. The parking lot will also be interesting over time...when we arrived at 4:30 p.m., the lot was close to full, infringing upon the business next door, and by the time we left people were searching for spaces. This is definitely a place to make a reservation and arrive early. Our check-in process was a bit confusing, there's a check-in stand outside where nobody was hosting, and we assumed that was for the patio. We went inside where there's another check-in stand where we were told to go back outside to wait for the hostess so that she could check us in and bring us back inside. If you have to read that a few times, it's as confusing a process as it sounds. We were then seated at a table where we sat for 15 minutes (I started a timer after about 5 minutes) with no server, no drinks, just the two of us wondering at what point one of the many employees was going to pay attention to our table. After 15 minutes, we were approached by Rebecca who brought us drinks, and took our order. By that time, I was just hoping to get a decent meal and get out, since I really didn't expect much. Once dinner did arrive, the food was wonderful! I ordered a creative meal they have which is pulled pork barbecue and waffles, a creative play on Chicken and waffles (which they also offer). I have to give the chef a lot of credit - the meal was tasty and flavorful. Based upon the food, this restaurant would be a five star experience - regrettably with the service snafu and a very sterile environment, it's a four-star overall. Perhaps we'll return when the weather cools down a bit and we can enjoy the patio, as I don't look forward to returning to the dining room anytime soon.

Both omelettes were very large and came with choices, I got grits, Mel got home fries. The omelettes were great. Mine had plenty of chicken, an adequate portion of jarred salsa, and plenty of peppers and onions. I'd have liked to have seen tomatoes included. I'm sure I could get that on request. Mel's omelette was loaded with mushrooms, and while I didn't try it, she reported that it was quite good. The grits and home fries were good. Overall, the food was a solid 3, the service tacked on the other star. Gail was great. She was very attentive and offered all the right things at the right times. The 20oz juice portion is a welcome option in a world of small juice pours, but it clocks in at $6. Total ticket, including a 16oz OJ and a coffee, was $49. Maybe I'm just giving boomer vibes, but that's steep for breakfast. The portion sizes were sufficient for both of us to have another small meal off each order. In summary, I recommend this place for a breakfast/brunch (they had a small menu of alcoholic drinks for the brunchers), in spite of the sticker price. I'll be back.
