We stopped here after the beach one day. He ice cream was yummy. My family loved their ice cream, I expected mine which was Hurricane Charley to be a little more flavorful. My mom accidentally left a rather large tip and we asked that it be refunded so we could leave a more suitable tip for simply getting ice cream. The manager was less than pleased. My mom apologized, but the attitude didn't change. Perhaps she was having a bad day, so maybe it's not like that all the time, but it was our one and only impression with her. Great flavors! This place has high quality ice cream and very fresh waffle cones. I gave it a one star because the middle aged female manager running the place was extremely rude and hostile to the other workers. She routinely cut them off mid order to take over, pushed them out of her way to move through the kitchen knocking one worker against the counter, and would snatch ice cream scoops out of their hands to expedite here own orders. Oh ya, all the other workers were aged 12-18 ish. Something needs to be done. read more

Wonderful place with excellent ice cream! The family and I make this almost a nightly visit when in town and it makes the evening a delight. We even raced to get there last night before close (we promise we didn't speed ). The workers are fun and always helpful, they must be sneaking their own samples! And the outdoor seating is relaxed, busy, and a good time. It's the spot to be. Highly recommend. THE BEST ice cream I've had in a very long time. Great tasting cones. We usually go to Bruster's but the ice cream we got from Cone Heads was amazing. I tried 3 flavors and got a scoop of each. Every one in our party got 2-3 scoops and each was a different flavor because it's too hard to choose just one. Some of the flavors we tried: Coconut almond, Brownie, kahluah sherbet, butterscotch. And it was really hard NOT to try the triple peanut butter ice cream. We'll have to go back before our staycation is over. read more

I was disappointed that the girls working at Cone Heads were not wearing masks! Actually, I was shocked. Regardless of this, we ordered ice cream because we were craving it. I ordered the Rum Raisin in a waffle cone and I must say, that was the best rum raisin ice cream I have ever had. My hubby ordered the Pumpkin Pie sundae, which they had advertised on a chalk board inside, and they didn't know how to make it. They were teenagers so I shook that off (I worked in an ice cream shoppe as a teen so I understand). They got someone from the back to make it and my husband said it was also very good. If it weren't for the fact that this is COVID times and they were not wearing masks, I would have given them more stars. They had masks and hand sanitizer right at the door. This is a popular ice cream shop on the main drag in St. Augustine Beach. The ice cream is good, maybe even very good. But it is expensive, like very expensive. I like the flavors. Most of the staff was nice. However, there was some guy in there who tried to keep the line moving, even if it meant being rude to customers. So, good ice cream, good location, way overpriced, and one guy in the store ruining the mood equals 3 stars. Not a bad place, better than going to Rita's down the street, but keep the price in mind.
