Adding another five-star review. Couldn't be more pleased with the price, the care, and the quality of service received. Scott Marko is great. I needed a body shop to paint a tailgate for my truck that i wanted to install myself. A number of shops wouldn't even take my business because they wanted to do the install as well. But it was no problem for Scott and his team. When the tailgate I received from the manufacturer suffered some shipping damage that I missed, Scott was able to repair it perfectly and at a very reasonable cost. He also took care of rebadging both the tailgate my truck at no additional charge. The price was better than any other shop. They were fast and accommodating. And the quality of the work was truly top notch. Doing the install myself I got a close look at every inch of their work and it really was superb. You never want to need a body shop, but if you do, this is the one you want! read more

Scott was so nice BEFORE leaving my car with him. Any scratch or stain was no big deal to include and "happy to take care for you"..... unfortunately those were all just useless words. This man kept my car for almost 6 weeks instead of 2.5 as originally told me. After jacking up the price 2 times and collecting $9,800 (wow!!!) still gave me a car with missing parts and I had to finish at another body shop to install those. After 6 weeks Scott returned my car filthy with black grease stains,fingerprints on headliner, on inside doors, etc - places I would have never touched. Several scratches and black gooey tar adhesive on back of my seats inside (even my 2 jackets left are totally filthy and ruined). Scott didn't even feel he could clean up the interior after making 10 grand, so he just vacuumed himself and called it clean! Also damaged my tire sensor so tire pressure no longer showing. This business owner is so greedy, that if you give him a million lobsters for dinner, he won't treat you to only a glass of water. Charged an arm and a leg and couldn't, then asked me for another $300. Don't let his original act fool you. He'll keep sucking more money, waste more time and do as little as possible. Scott couldn't even be bothered to bring my car back 5 miles away, so I had to cut my right ankle boot to drive it back! He told me he was short staffed ..... disgusting!Scott made me feel zero appreciated for my business. I brought a car that was spotless inside (as I barely drive 20 miles a week) but got back a car that's filthy, greasy stained, dusty with black prints all over, broken glasses and broken tire sensor. My car was taken there sight unseen after hours, never having worked with them, but being one of the few options contracted with State Farm and certified for our vehicle manufacturer (Ford). From the moment I first talked to them, I felt I was in good hands. They were upfront, transparent, extremely knowledgeable, and the work was top-notch. Our SUV was broken into and smashed both passenger side windows in the front and back. It was a miracle that our insurance got back to us with a list of body shops and this place caught my eye. Jim, the owner, personally went out and estimated the damage for us when we got there. He even found some dents that were caused by the car thieves when trying to get into the car. It took us two weeks to get the car back because of the paint job and the constant rain that held back part. Their crew communicated with us with any delays which helped out the logistics of our rental car. Shout out to Melissa as well. She was very polite, warm, and welcoming. Her dogs definitely helped ease the stress of dealing with the repair. They vacuumed the mess and even washed our SUV when they returned it. I was in a minor accident where another vehicle side swiped me on the left side. I reached out to our awesome mechanic, Rick's Japanese Car Care, and they recommended Jim. From the beginning Jim was responsive and was always there to help. I felt like one of the most annoying customers with all of the questions. However, he handled them with grace and gave me peace of mind. He said he would take care of everything and I wouldn't even have to deal directly with the insurance company. After the vehicle was fixed, I had some more questions (surprise!) and Scott handled everything because their #2 focus was the safety of each vehicle (#1 is taking care of their customers). First of all, I have previously used both of their body shops for repairs to my autos. Service, out of pocket costs, and attention to detail are outstanding. Jim, the owner, has a son at each facility. The young men are also honest and professional. What happened yesterday only solidified my opinion about this business. We were driving home from Northern California, in a crazy storm. Super intense rain and thunderstorms. I can't recall this kind of storm. It was a white knuckler for 5 hours. During the drive, water began dripping through the headliner. Then it started pouring in. I had to put my rain hat on, and told the wife that it had to be a leak in the sunroof. We finally made it home around 4 PM. After parking in the garage, I noticed the sunroof was slightly open. Yikes!! A self inflicted wound. I called the Newbury Park facility, and they told me to bring it over asap. Jim, the owner, immediately checked out the situation. Closing the sunroof completely stopped any further damage. But I didn't know what to do about the water damage in the headliner. Jim told me exactly how to fix the situation. It worked to a T. Air movement with some warmth. No charge. Headliner is totally dry without any smell or mold. No water lines. I don't know of any other business with that kind of integrity. It's just a WOW!! read more

I called to inquire about the "Etch and Catch" program and installing a catalytic converter protection shield on my Toyota Prius. A nice man by the name of Scott answered and referred me to another shop that would provide both services for me since Conejo Valley Auto Center doesn't install the shields. That was very nice of them to help me save a trip by referring me to a place that could do all the work I was looking for. I would definitely use Conejo Valley Auto Center for future body work because they have a customer focused attitude. We were rear ended in a drive through sitting idle and had minor damage to our rear bumper and quarter panel area. CVAC not only repaired the damage, but went over and beyond the call of duty to ensure my vehicle was repaired and looking new. After bringing my car in for an inspection, CVAC made the repair process simple - they worked with my insurance company, completed all the necessary paperwork, and made sure all parts were genuine manufacturer parts. I was more than pleased with their work. Our vehicle looked better than when we received it new from the dealership. They also kept me informed through text, email, and/or phone regarding status information related to my vehicle. By far the best shop I have brought my car too. My neighbor hit my car and damaged my front bumper, fender and front splitter. This shop replaced everything in about a week and a half and re clearcoated my carbon fiber trunk that started to fade. The car came out amazing and is the fastest shop I've been to, not only did they finish it fast they did an amazing job, everything lined up perfectly and the paint came out making the car look better than new. Undetectable repair! Two weeks after buying our new Subaru Forester, we got rear-ended on a drive on the 405 from LAX. Not a huge collision, but enough of a bump to dent the rear bumper noticeably. We took it to Conejo Valley Auto Center, who fixed it quickly, and so nicely that you can't tell that there was a problem requiring work to begin with. No overspray, no mis-adjusted parts, just a beautiful job, and a happy customer. It took a while for State Farm to get an inspector there to approve some additional work discovered after disassembly; certainly not CVAC's fault. Two tiny dings, not worth deducting a star: * The collision shorted a brakelight / taillight bulb such that the bulb didn't go on for braking, only for running. I asked for it to be replaced, but it didn't make it. Our normal mechanic replaced it with no problem. * The spare tire, and its surrounding blocking material, were re-inserted rotated 180 degrees, causing the rear deck to not sit down fully. A quick adjustment, rotating things so that the "FRONT" label was pointing toward the front of the car, and everything fit perfectly. Oh - and they have great hard candies at the counter. I got 4 bids for repairing a dented rear panel and and a separated rear bumper. The bids were $2,000 to $4,000 more tithe CVAC's. CVAC did an excellent job, completing the work in ten days and they even washed an waxed the car. If I ever need auto body work again I will go directly to the Conejo Valley Auto Center! read more

I took my Mustang to this incredible body shop to get a dent and paint chipping repaired in a reasonably tricky spot on the roof. Immediately when I arrived at the shop for an appraisal, John was there to meet me right on time with a high level of professionalism and hospitality. After looking over my car, he explained every step that they would need to take to correct the damage and answered all my questions that I could come up with. They told me it would take about nine business days to fix the car. Only seven business days later (2 whole days ahead of schedule), I got a call that the professionals at the shop were finishing up the polishing of the paint and that it was ready to pick up. I was shocked that it was done early, as I know that autobody work can be tedious and unpredictable. When I went to grab my car from them, John was there again with a smile to walk me through the necessary paperwork and answer any more questions I could think of. You would never be able to tell that there was damage to the car, as they did a beyond-amazing job cutting, refinishing, and blending the paintwork, and the dent was gone entirely. They even fixed some of the panel gap issues that Mustangs can be known for when they reassembled the rear bumper. (Now that's what I call above-and-beyond attention to detail). I had my car repaired through SilverRock insurance since I bought my car through Carvana, and Conejo Valley Auto Center made the entire process painless and reassuring. If I could give more stars I would. I had just bought my brand new Molten Lava CRV, and I was loving it. A couple days in, my husband decided to take my car to an event. He came home, afraid to show me what had happened. He tried to turn right from a parking lot, and didn't see the cement short pole, hiding there. The front passenger fender and into the door were smashed (couldn't even open the door). After my initial disappointment I knew what I had to do. Get the car to Scott, at Conejo Valley Auto Center, ASAP. I had my previous car repaired twice at Westlake Auto Collision, and couldn't have been happier. Dealing with Jim and Nick was simple and easy. They were professional and kind from beginning to end. My car left perfect, each time. They have since opened a second shop, Conejo Valley Auto Center, so I decided to give it a try this time. Scott was great to work with. The place was clean and welcoming.
