HONEST MECHANIC. My wife's lexus rx350 was shaking going down the Camarillo grade. She took it to our local Lexus dealership, the repair was gonna cost $3k for new control arms and bushings. Took it to APS, and after checking the car out, concluded just the bushings were shot & needed replacement. Ended up being $400, and car no longer shakes. After receiving honest service for my wife's lexus, I took my 2013 Prius to APS for an issue with the struts. After inspection, they concluded the front & back struts needed replacement ($1152 job). Because my Prius is old AF, it's not worth replacing the struts. APS didn't charge me anything for the inspection, even tho I opted out of their recommended repairs. Again, this spoke to their honesty. I highly recommend them. read more

This business was so professional. I had two catalytic converters added to our two Rav 4's. They ordered the parts which came quickly. Then they put them on within an hour each and them came to pick us up at a store a mile away where we had walked. The service was great. The price was fair. I don't usually do reviews but I know this one is a must. For anyone looking for a legit place where you know they won't rip you off this is the spot. I have been bringing my cars to them for about 2 years now and would not let anyone one else check or work on my car. They have worked on my G37 and Audi A4 and there prices are great compared to their competitors. I once took my car to shop where they told me there was a bearing broken and that the whole part had to be replaced so I decided to get another look at it from a different spot so I took it to auto professional. What they did was tighten up a couple things and off I was with free of charge. They could've made a couple bucks off of me since I had no clue what was wrong but they didn't. That's why I only take my car to Auto Professional Services because there hasn't been one time where they have made me feel as if they were trying to take advantage. Hello All, I own 2000 Lexus ES 300 and The car has 101, 000 miles on it yet still runs great! I mean really great like a new car with smooth driving experience. Suddenly a day before I got Check Engine Light & Trac Off Lights on Today I was driving, at an intersection the CHECK ENGINE and TRAC OFF buttons came on at the same time, I also felt the engine run a little rough for a minute. Turned the engine off, then on, ran smoothly, lights still on. I also tried to operate the TRAC OFF switch, nothing happened. I went to Auto Professional Service, Met Johny who diagnosed in 5 min and told misfire in the Cylinder 6. He gave a quote 120$ including labor for changing the coil.Really impressive work and very friendly. Firestone charges $100 for just diagnosis which is pathetic. I really recommend this shop for people near Ventura/Simi Valley/Thousand Oaks Area. This guy charges decent rate with excellent work. Good Work Johny! - Mahesvar read more

Moi and rest of techs have been excellent! I've taken 3 of our vehicles to be serviced and each time they have went above and beyond. They are knowledgeable, efficient and well organized. There's absolutely no pressure and all issues have been resolved in less than one day. On a couple of occasions, I called same day (with no appointment) and asked if they could take a look at a check engine light; Moi stopped and checked the codes, explained the reading, reset the code and had me on my way. I've had the opportunity to take my 1999 Mitsubishi 3000 GT to APS on several different occasions. They were recommended to me by Moe's Smog whose shop is in the same location. On my very first visit, I was so impressed with Moises and the professional help I received. I had to replace a fuel injector where my prior shop told me it would cost in access of $300 to replace. Moises encouraged me to replace three in the front bank so there would only by one hourly charge plus the cost of the injectors. I bought three injectors from Rock Auto and Moises replaced all three for one hour of labor. Since that time, I've had a new clutch installed; an alternator installed and regular service. In all of my visits, I received quick and courteous service. I trust Moises and his staff to give my honest and reliable service. So hard to find a place you can trust. Have sent my civic couple of times and is 100% satisfied with the service. The brothers are friendly, trustworthy and experienced. I had a check engine light on once and was ripped off by some other auto-shops by recommended doing engine flush, etc. and unrelated changes (like timing belt, although they were due at that time). It cost me a few hundred bucks and the check engine light came back within 2 days. So i sent my car to APS as some other friends recommended, the brother spotted the issue within an hour and helped me to fixed it with a very good price. read more
