Alex came out and gave me a quote to remove 3 Italian cypress trees. The crew arrived on time (early, in fact) and made short work of the trees in much less time than expected. Considering the mess created from dragging the trimmings across the backyard and into the driveway for chipping, I was expecting a big mess to clean up, especially given my experience with ythe way most contractors "clean up" when they're done. I called the company based on several local recommendations. Alex drove out within the hour to give me an estimate to thin out a large California Pepper tree, and a Brazilian Coral tree. As he walked the property he threw out a couple of numbers for the Coral tree which varied by$25. The Pepper tree seemed a little more substantial at $275. When he added the numbers in his head for the total estimate his math was off by a $100...higher of course. We laughed it off and tentatively talked about doing the job on Monday, or some time next week, he was gonna call me. Monday came, and I'm hearing chain saws. Alex never called to confirm. The most important thing was the job though. Alex and crew did a good job trimming both trees, and with the clean up. They were done in couple of hours. We had a large shade tree removed from our backyard in Oak Park. Our experience with this company was great. When we contacted them, they were super fast / responsive and gave us recommendations about the tree via photos we sent over text message. They gave a reasonable price for removal and came right away with a crew and removed it amazingly quickly, and cleaned up well afterwards. Unfortunately they could not remove the stump because of a construction project at our house preventing them from getting the stump remover equipment into the backyard. They said to reach out again when the project was over, and they would come back. Six months later, I texted saying that we were ready for stump removal. I got a response almost immediately. Better yet, they honored the original price for tree+stump, even though they ended up having to make an extra trip to our house. They came right away and removed the stump, and again cleaned up after themselves. All in all... they were super professional and responsive, and I was very happy. These guys came out first thing in the morning on New Year's Day to rescue a poor little cat that both the Fire Dept. and Animal Control said was "too far up" and "too high risk". 70 feet up a skinny tree in our apartment complex, with Santa Ana winds howling, Alex flew up the tree and in one swoop captured and saved this little guy.
