Finally found a place to go for all my cakes, cupcakes and pastries. Ordered a birthday carrot cake, and everyone at the party agreed that it was not only the best carrot cake (and frosting) they'd ever had but also that the design and written message on the cake was fantastic. The cake was moist and delicious. The cream cheese frosting had just the right amount of cream cheese so that the frosting was rich but not with a heavy cream cheese taste. Also bought cupcakes and some pastries while I was there. If there's one thing that seems to be very difficult for so many bakeries, it's producing a cupcake that isn't dry and frosting that isn't cloyingly sweet. But Confectionately Yours hit it out of the park. We ordered several types of cupcakes and they were all top-notch. Of all their pastries, I'd highly recommend the Chocolate Bomb. The absolute best I've ever had, and I can't figure out how they get the chocolate covering to be so moist while still holding its shape. And the prices? Some of the best around. The BEST cupcakes and cake! We hired Confectionately Yours to do assorted cupcakes and a cutting cake for our wedding. Kristen was so attentive to our needs and very responsive. Everything came out perfectly! They are also very affordable and reasonably priced. Much of our decision came down to price when it came desserts, and not only were they within our budget, but they were delicious. All the cupcake flavors we got were sooo good and moist! They also provide gluten free options. There are a wide variety of flavors to choose from, and Kristen did not limit how many flavors we wanted for our wedding. We sent her a sample image of the design we wanted for our cutting cake and she replicated it, while also adding a bit more flair to make it even more beautiful. She will work with you re what kind of cake you want and what style, design, flavors, etc. The latest cake we ordered was a dinosaur cake for our daughter. The cake is covered in marshmallow fondant with a 3-D dinosaur. Everything on the cake including the dinosaur is edible and delicious. All our guests (kids and adults) finished the cake. I am so happy that I stumbled upon this bakery. I needed a birthday cake for my goddaughter's birthday last minute. I was looking through yelp and the reviews sold me. I purchased a to-go cake for my party and it was one of the only shops I know with rose cakes to go, I was very pleased. The cake was so pretty and taste yummy as well. I purchased half vanilla and half chocolate cake with white roses. Very friendly staff as well and the guest that went and came from the shop were very friendly. That makes me love a bakery even more. I do wish that the rose cake was a full rose cake with no space on the top (for writing), I'm sure I could have asked them to finish filling the middle though - I typically don't writing on a rose cake, I use a topper. I was happy to be greeted one day by a boxful of Confectionately Yours' (cute name!) cupcakes as purchased and shared by a fan of theirs. Many of their cupcakes are filled with a nice surprise which assisted with the moistness of the treat as a whole. On the day of pick-up, the lemon filled and strawberry vanilla were winners, but the mint chocolate cupcake was on the dry side and deemed stale. Over the next few days, while smushed due to my faulty transportation method, the tiramisu and the caramel filled were still moist and tasty. Came here once for a midafternoon snack with a friend. The storefront is not too big, but enough for a tv, about two tables inside and some cupcake/donut/muffin displays. My friend and I got a tiramisu and death by chocolate cupcake! Super happy with my cupcake. The smalls are reasonably priced compared to some cupcake shops (a little over $2) and have just enough of everything. Sometimes I find that Death by Chocolate products can be a little overwhelming (which is the point, I know!) but this one was perfect on all the marks. Chocolate curls, chocolate frosting, and chocolate filling inside were all superb and all distinguishable from one another - not the same kind of chocolate note all around. Only thing I'd say is that the cupcake batter was a little dense and could be fluffier, but great for a late afternoon pick-me-up. Would definitely try more here, next time. read more
