The center has taken such incredible care of our kids over the past few years and we're so glad our son still has another couple of years. The staff is amazing and it truly feels like home. Our daughter is currently with Ms. Cherry in the pre-K class and we love her so much. She's a great teacher and has a wonderful way of keeping the kids on task. She's the perfect combo of kind and loving but also keeps the kids in line and on schedule. Miss Irina is the director and she's basically family at this point, as is her Assistant director miss sandra. They do a great job at always being available to talk and support any needs you or your child might have. They never make you feel rushed or like your opinions aren't important. We also have had such a great experience in Miss Kim's 2 year old class. She's amazing and you can tell she truly loves her job. Thank you Moorpark Kindercare for the years of love, supporting and teaching our kids, and providing a truly nurturing home for our kids as they grow.

The idea that my 2 year old boy would knock over a structure built with blocks by another kid was appalling to her . When I explained that we do that at home she accused me of bad parenting. I had many issues there. I called a meeting to see if we could get on the same page but unfortunately just provided me with more information leading to me and my husband pulling our son out and frankly I feel horrible that I didn't realize sooner how he was treated . You could just see the harmful effects that this place had on my son . I hope they close soon. The director (Joanna pimentel) and Melanie should move on. Maybe you can find someone good there but I didn't and you can't get those years back or try again . Please beware !

I have had three children attend La Petite Simi Valley over the past eight years from infancy…read morethrough TK. I can honestly say the school has been incredible every step of the way. There are four child care centers closer to my home but I make the drive to La Petite because it's 100% worth it. The teachers are extremely knowledgeable, supportive and kind. They have years of expertise behind them, and it shows in their interactions with the kids. The communication between the staff and parents has been excellent and I feel that we have always been informed of curriculum standards, child behavioral patterns and upcoming events that my kids could partake in. When my older two children started kindergarten, their teachers remarked about how well prepared they were to start elementary school. I believe La Petite was instrumental in getting them ready. While the quality of the education at La Petite has kept us there for years, their flexibility with attendance has been a major incentive as well. I am a first responder, and therefore my work schedule is never fixed. I have been able to send my children to school different days each week without this causing an issue for the staff. It has been extremely helpful! The tuition at La Petite is highly competitive to other childcare centers in my area. Considering the school provides meals, snacks and diapers for the kids, it's a great deal! You can't go wrong choosing La Petite Simi Valley for your child. It is a great school with quality education, wonderful teachers and a family oriented atmosphere. If I could give it more than five stars, I would!

I also emailed her the day before, spoke to the assistant director and the lead teacher, also spoke to 2 different people at the call center the DAY BEFORE who confirmed there were no wait lists at that location. Also asked the Assistant director to have the director call me back the next day. So funny to me that as soon as I actually get ahold of the director, they happen to fill the last spot the same morning. I'll take it as a blessing since it was impossible to get ahold of the person I needed to, if my kid was actually attending there and I had the same level of urgency from them I would be even more upset.

I was dreading the day I would have to put my son in daycare, but knowing how comfortable he is with us leaving him there and how much he loves Ms Liz, just makes it so much easier. He gets excited in a morning when I say "Do you want to go to school". :) Most days when we show up for pick up he runs into our arms, but some days he keeps on playing and doesn't want to leave lol. However, I am happy to share that we have had a wonderful experience with the new teachers. The infant teachers are patient, nurturing, and excellent communicators. They consistently keep me informed of any concerns. The teachers in the twos program are also exceptional. The children are engaged, interested, and actively participating in a variety of meaningful activities. The new director hosted a meet-and-greet at the beginning of the year, which I greatly appreciated. She brings extensive knowledge from her previous role, and I value the changes she is implementing. While her leadership style differs from that of the previous director, I feel very confident in her abilities and her vision for the school.
