The optometrist was so kind, I was in and out super quick, and everyone was very kind and respectful.

Went through the list of providers in our vision insurance's network, trying to find the eye doctor…read morewith the best reviews... Dr. Conn had hands-down, the best reviews and lived up to every single one! The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. They have a ton of frames to choose from. Dr. Conn was incredibly friendly, kind, and honest! My husband and I won't be going to anybody else!!

I've got to agree with all the other reviewers thus far - Dr. Conn and his staff are awesome…read more The only things I can really add that haven't already been said: He does not use any sort of electronic health record, nor does he have an online patient portal, but he does not lack for efficiency, it would seem. Of course, considering he's presumably been in the business awhile, he has his process down to a science. I could tell that while he certainly wasn't following a script, it was a formulaic sort of visit - but not in a negative way. It's not often that I'm happy with medical providers; I can honestly say that this was easily the best experience I've ever had at an optometrist's office, and perhaps top 5 across all specialties - and I have medical providers in my family! He was confident, but not arrogant, wise, but not a know-it-all, and generally had no detectable trace of any negative personality trait stereotype typically associated with many medical practitioners. If you can't tell, it was a refreshing experience - a nice change from my usual, so to speak. Oh, it DOES bear mentioning that he does NOT carry Luxottica eyewear, which owns 80 percent of all high-end eyeglass brands (Ray-Ban, Oakley, Prada, Versace, just to name a few), which is quite the feat. For those of you who HAVE to have the latest brand-name style, mass-produced so you can look like everyone else - just go to him for your exam. You can take your prescription elsewhere. The frames Dr. Conn's office carries span all price ranges, but they all appeared to be of high quality. The pair of frames I settled on were unique, stylish, solidly built, and, many months afterwards, I'm still quite happy with them. In short, I couldn't be happier with my experience at Conn Vision. Dr. Conn and his staff were pleasant, professional, his services are reasonably priced, the location is convenient - what more could you ask for? I will hate when he retires and I have to find somewhere new.

I don't think anyone particularly likes going in for their annual eye exam, but the team at Green…read moreHills Eyecare made our appointment as pain-free and pleasant as possible. Using their online portal, I scheduled exams for me and my husband around three weeks in advance. As with any doctor, I recommend double checking with your insurance company before booking to make sure you're covered. The Green Hills Eyecare team also followed up with me over the phone after I booked my appointments to confirm all of my insurance information and medical history. The office is located on the third floor of an easy-to-access medical building, complete with free parking. We arrived and filled out some paperwork, before beginning our exams. Hayley and Dr. Waymire were so friendly and knowledgable, offering helpful explanations to any and all of our questions. Bonus ... for anyone who hates that dreaded prick of air to dilate your eyes, you'll be pleased to know this office does things a little differently! We didn't purchase new frames this time around, but Mike the optician was happy to print out our prescriptions and provide some advice for future purchases. I absolutely recommend Green Hills Eyecare if you're in need of an eye exam - we look forward to returning for our next annual visit!

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with Green Hills Eyecare…read more I paid almost $800 for a pair of prescription glasses. The frames looked good when I selected them, but once the prescription lenses were installed, the glasses were extremely heavy on my nose--to the point that they caused pain and left an indentation. After about two weeks, I returned to the practice. I never saw Dr. Waymer again after my initial examination and instead dealt with Mike, the optician who handles the eyewear sales. The practice took the glasses back, but I later received messages pressuring me to come in and select another pair. I was sick and then overseas, so approximately three weeks passed before I was able to return. When I finally went back with my 17-year-old daughter to choose a smaller, lighter frame, the experience became even worse. Mike appeared upset and barely spoke to me. Another staff member, whose name I believe was Chelsea/Chelsey, approached me with what both my daughter and I perceived as an unnecessarily confrontational attitude. She told me that my options were essentially to take the original glasses back that day or receive only $318 back, even though I had paid almost $800 for the glasses. I repeatedly asked them to work with me. I was not asking for anything extravagant--I simply wanted to choose a smaller, lighter and even less expensive frame that I could comfortably wear. Instead, Mike told me that if I wanted replacement glasses, I would have to pay approximately another $470 on top of what I had already paid. I found this completely unreasonable. I left the office without glasses. What concerned me even more happened afterward. The following week, I called because I wanted an appointment with Dr. Waymer. I was still experiencing symptoms from my previous visit and was also seeing white flashes in my vision. I was questioned about my symptoms and was not given an appointment. I called again on subsequent days and still could not get an appointment with the doctor. This is what ultimately made this experience so troubling. A disagreement over expensive glasses is one thing, but I do not believe a dispute with the optical/sales side of a practice should interfere with a patient's ability to request medical care from their eye doctor, particularly when reporting a new visual symptom. I paid nearly $800 for prescription glasses, plus the cost of my examination and approximately $150 for prescribed eye drops, and ultimately left without usable glasses and feeling that I was treated disrespectfully rather than helped. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice. I hope Dr. Waymer personally reviews what occurred, including how my eyewear issue was handled and my subsequent attempts to obtain an appointment. After spending all this money, being treated this way, and leaving without the prescription glasses I paid for, I feel robbed. I paid almost $800 for the glasses, around $170 for the consultation, and $150 for eye drops, and then Mike wanted another $470 just to replace the painfully heavy glasses with a smaller, cheaper pair. I left with no glasses. Even more concerning, when I later called with continuing symptoms and white flashes in my vision, Chelsea and another staff member, Barbilla, repeatedly refused to schedule me with Dr. Waymer. Based on my experience, it felt as though Chelsea was doing everything possible to prevent me from speaking directly with Dr. Waymer, who owns the practice, about what had happened. Again. I feel robbed.
