I'm really glad that I was referred to Connect Downtown LA. Mark was very helpful with helping me find a my downtown apartment. If anyone is looking for luxury apartment don't hesitate to call Mark at Connect Downtown LA.

Mark found me the gorgeous kitchen I was looking for. Thanks guys!

The process went so easy. Mark from Connect DTLA called me right away and we found my apartment the same day. He made moving from San Diego to LA seamless by knowing all of the buildings downtown. Plus being offered a rebate was icing on the cake.

ConnectDTLA and Mark are awesome. Very easy, friendly communication, setting up appointments, and guidance. It was great to view and compare multiple properties to end with the perfect location. And lastly it's a great opportunity for everyone all around to take in the rebate!

I am a new tenant at Aven and it has been great two months so far. Love the outdoor gym and the outdoor basketball court. My agent Mark has been tremendous with my move in!!

Honestly I would've never thought that reaching out to a 3rd party would help but I'm glad I did. Mark was tremendously helpful with every single step of the way. From touring to applying to moving in, he made the process easy and smooth. If you are looking for anything specific he is the one to call! I asked for a beautiful view and nice kitchen and he made it happen

MARK is the man!!!! Found Connect DTLA online and gave it a shot. I had a hard time getting in contact with anyone at these sky rise buildings in dtla and mark came through very fast after I inquired on the connect dtla website. I set up an appointment with him, they day of he gave me a tour of the two building I was interested in plus all the amenities the buildings offered. Also he went over all the incentives these buildings offer and guided me through the whole process. Ended liking Hope+Flower Told him to recommend me the best unit for the price and I couldn't be more happier plus you get an extra incentive by going through him! 5 stars thanks again MARK!

Mark found me the best deal at 825 s hill during the pandemic! I moved from atelier where I was paying exorbitantly more and he was able to find a unit that's on a higher floor and has a better view! Will always be 10x better than going through the confusing and exhausting leasing offices of DTLA! And the best part is they send you a check with a rebate instead of charging a broker fee!!

Mark

I called Mark to help me find an apartment last minute. The next day he took me to view the apartment I was interested in and took me on an amazing tour! He was quick to answer my calls/text which was amazing! He hooked me up with some really good rebate deals and made the leasing process such much easier! Mark even got the leasing office to lower my rent and got me free parking for a year (super hard to get in DTLA) he worked his magic and I couldn't be happier!

Awesome views and great office!!! I am Real Estate agent with Keller Williams Downtown Los Angeles…read morenow. So happy to be a part of such a great company.

I was not planning on signing up for classes at all, never mind get my real estate license. The…read morethought of renewing my lease one more year living downtown was dreadful and my goal was to purchase a home by 2019. But everybody I spoke to just told me different things - I received a mixture of advice from : ..."buy property, you're wasting money renting!" to ..."just continue renting, there's so many hidden costs owning a home and the market's going to crash". My mission was to learn something new and feel confident about any future investments. Confused and having no idea who to trust, I went on Yelp and looked up real estate classes. I searched KW DTLA's address and realized it was literally across the street and they offered a free introductory course so I said, why not!? At the time when I joined, my schedule was pretty flexible so it only took me up until our first class break to decide that I wanted to be apart of this program. Mac was my instructor and the course was 3 months long. That wasn't a commitment at all for someone who spent 9 years in university. What did I have to lose? The cost was $450 ish including the 3 textbooks and $50 less without which included a year access to their online portal. In addition to this package, I purchased supplementary courses from Prep Agent and Rico's videos which were not that useful. I read all of the text books and they were god awful dry but the portal has a lot of useful study tools. KW students also have access to self-improvement and educational resources outside of these classes with workshops, motivational guest speakers and networking events where I got to meet some really great people. 4 hours of sitting through a class can get pretty intense but it wasn't too painful because Mac was a truly wonderful instructor! I surprised myself since I was not even remotely interested in selling homes and I signed up right away. There was something about the energy of the people who I met here that kept me coming back. Mac was very knowledgeable, entertaining, personable and was always helpful with any questions we had. He also had very good taste in sneakers! Who knew Real Estate classes could turn out to be this fun that I wished the program never ended?! Unfortunately, an unexpected event occurred with work in early January and I haven't been able to register or study for the exam yet. I look forward to the issues settling down and resuming where I left off to get my license this year, hopefully buy property sometime in the future too. Thank you for such an inspiring class Mac and KW team. I highly recommend this location to anyone interested in learning about real estate or getting licensed!

I am completely unsatisfied with Julie Bahang´s service for the following reasons:…read more 1. There was a lien on the property we were purchasing, and Julie did not take care of this from the start. This caused a three-week delay in closing the deal and forced us to look for a temporary place to stay until the deal closed. Note that we could have closed the deal three weeks ago. 2. Julie lied about the status of the demand on the lien. She mentioned in an email that she had already taken care of it, but when we followed up on this document the next week, she replied through an email saying that she had taken care of the document 2 days ago. I think she forgot that she lied to us the first time. 3. Julie blamed us for the delay in closing the deal because we did not deposit our down payment into their provided account. We could not deposit the down payment because they had not sent the escrow docs needed by the loan company. A few days later, Julie emailed not to send the down payment to the provided account because it became subject to the IRS investigation. 4. When pressed about why there is a delay on the escrow´s side, Julie complained that they were busy handling other customers. There might be good reviews about Julie Bahang, but my experience with her is horrible. Me and my wife were hoping that we could get a good service since she is the Vice President and a senior manager of the escrow company hired by the seller, but we are deeply disappointed with her service.

Each had a 6 month exclusive and neither had produced a formal written offer. Within the first week after signing with Maggie's firm, she brought me two. After a month of negotiation I had a signed lease. And when it comes to negotiation, her intuition is spot on. I've read the glowing reviews from her other clients and I have to agree wholeheartedly with every bit of praise and compliment used to described this dynamo. Her professionalism and work ethic is simply amazing. I know I was amazed.

We had to move quickly and didn't have time to scout neighborhoods, or even visit the properties before making a decision. Maggie gave us detailed reports on neighborhoods in a language we could understand, ran all over the greater L.A. area to look at properties, and sent detailed videos on all our target properties. We ended up thrilled with our neighborhood and property even though my family had never set foot in the area or house. It's a true testament to her many skills. There are many people have knowledge, skills, and understanding of the market, but in addition to those requisite skills Maggie has a sincere dedication to her customers that sets her above the competition. It's very rare to find someone with all those traits in any field, and if you are in the realty market in L.A. I highly recommend connecting with Maggie.

Mark Grimes was that person. From the beginning, Mark listened, remembered the little details that were important to us, and gave us the space to make decisions at our own pace while always being there with thoughtful advice and guidance when we needed it. I never felt pressured--- only supported. One of the most memorable parts of the process was actually touring homes with Mark. He's personable, funny, and genuinely easy to be around, but he's also incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He has a way of making what can be an overwhelming process feel manageable because he understands that buying a home is not just a financial decision--- it's a deeply personal one. My husband and I refused to settle or give up in this intimidating Los Angeles housing market, and Mark stood by us every step of the way. And it paid off in the end, with our first home purchase in Glendale! We came upon a unicorn, a move-in ready single-family home that met all our requirements. As someone who tends to overthink big decisions, I can honestly say I don't regret this decision for a second, and Mark played a huge part in making that possible. I don't hand out recommendations lightly, especially when it comes to something as significant as buying a home. But if you're looking for someone who is honest, grounded, and great at what he does, I recommend Mark without hesitation. From our experience, he's only respected our decisions, advocated for us, and never lost sight of what mattered most to us. And if/when the day comes that we want to sell our first home or buy another property--- perhaps in Palm Springs ;) --- we could only wish we'd be so lucky enough to work with Mark Grimes again.

Being able to bring in some of these resources on a very short timeline gave us enough information to assess the property properly and ultimately negotiate a significant reduction, all while feeling no pressure and completely open to walking away.
