Templeton office is only open Mondays and Fridays. You can see her in SLO Tues Wed Thurs. I highly recommend Dr Larson. I have tiny in the ear hearing aids that were expensive but no one can tell I'm wearing them. They come out when I don't want to wear them or in water, sleeping. Etc. I first tried the ones you leave in but my right ear was smaller than the smallest size available and it became swollen and inflamed from the excess ear pressure. The left was perfect. But I had to switch to receivable ones. The trial period allows you to change to what works. Don't put it off. See Dr Larson and get your hearing tested.

I am visiting the San Luis Obispo area, and my son came down with an ear infection and had developed a funky rash. I called every ND in the area and soonest anyone could fit me in was in another 2 weeks! I was ready to drive to an office in LA when I contacted Dr. McGaughney. She fit me in the same day! I liked her office, it is professional without the typical sterile doctor office feel. My immediate impression of her was great. She was very attentive and listened to my rambling very patiently, despite the fact that she probably knew what the problem was right off the bat. She was incredibly warm and caring and was great with my baby. She diagnosed the issue very quickly (but not in a rushed sort of way) and offered several different options for mitigating his symptoms and boosting his immune system. I wish we lived closer so that she could be our family doctor. Now my friend is back to buying pills from random people in addition to the pills from Jessica!! We fear we may have lost her this time!! Thanks for the help Jessica!! They said "his appt was yesterday," wherein I replied "no, look at this email, I wasn't available yesterday," and receptionist took no responsibility. It was definitely Wed not Tues. She wouldn't look at my emails. She said "oh, she shouldn't have done that"/scheduled you? My son didn't feel heard at the appt with the Dr. He had a concussion and was sent for that, not a normal eye exam. I was but off by him too in our conversations. Disregarded. Now he is getting glasses, don't think that is the correct route? My appt was suppossed to be immediately after his (for his 9am we arrived at 850 and he was seen at 920/ a student missing school). The first thing I asked was if the dr was on time. Then for my appt, it was supposed to be back to back, mine was at 10, we were there still, and at 10, she stated there were THREE people ahead of me, so an hour wait. Didn't mention they stated they "squeezed Max in today," so therefore the wait, because of their schedule mishap. Felt disrespected and won't go back. We just left, I had to get my kid back in school. Going elsewhere.

I also had concerns about whether the staff had the proper training and certifications to provide certain services, including vitamin B injections and hyperbaric chamber treatments. Additionally, the turnaround time for receiving lab results was much longer than expected, taking months in some cases. I hope Darya Boland can improve its communication lack of urgency and ensure patients feel confident in the care they are receiving.
