Another super mall with lots of selections. I think there was a pipe issue because we stopped at Windsor and we couldn't stay long it smelled really bad, like sewer. But we visited other stores like Rainbow and Miniso. read more

Relatively a smaller mall, but very clean and well maintained. It's 2 floors mainly has one hallway to walk. Restrooms are in each end of the floor. Some of the notable big stores are Dave & buster, Target, Dick's, Boscov. Most of the other regular mall stores like Hollister, Finish Line, Champs, AE, Box lunch are available as well. Lots of vending machines available all around for refreshment. My daughter found a cotton candy vending machine as well. The food court is very big. About 8-10 options available including Sbarro, Tokyo Japan, Taco bell and Johnny Rockets. There are activity places like massage parlor, escape rooms, and kids play zone/area available. It's not very crowded and lots of parking available. read more

This used to be my mall of choice a decade ago, now if needed, I just go to Trumbull mall because it closer to my home. Connecticut Post Mall had my preferred theater Cinnemark, which did fathom events my son loved. Now I go close to home to AMC if at all. My daughter used to like to play in the mall's play area, which used to be filled with children. Today, I passed by on a Friday afternoon and there was not one in sight. It's kind of depressing. I noticed a lot of stores went out of business with online shopping trending and hardship from Covid. I honestly only came today because my daughter needed a last minute outfit for a party same day. Things have changed. The only time I usually come here nowadays is for the Dave & Busters. read more

I attended the Food Truck Festival and it was at the Milford Mall. There were a variety of food truck vendors with a variety of different foods to choose from. There was a food eating contest, raffles, and giveaways prizes. It's a great place to go with family and friends and it's definitely a great time. read more

Bigger doesn't always mean better. This has the distinction of being the 'biggest mall' in Connecticut, but it certainly doesn't mean it's the best or all that great - whether it's in Connecticut or not. From the outside, it looks huge because it is. Once inside however, it's not as spacious as you'd think. I've been to smaller malls where there was more walking space than here. It's 2 floors with a partial 3rd floor for Macy's. A decent walk if you want to go from one side to the other. One area in the lower floor looked a little dark and nearly abandoned. The mall has plenty of business including basic mall fixtures like Spencer's and Hot Topic. The directory of businesses has fairly good variety. The food court is typical, but some decent options (not talking about Sbarro either). There's 4 restaurants, including a Dave & Busters. A movie theater, CVS, and even an escape room add to the variety. But driving to and from here, the general shopping district on the roads surrounding the mall were more impressive and had all you could ever want, from food to material things. I'd personally rather shop in the stores on the street coming to and from the mall than the mall itself. It's a busy area generally as well and a good shopping district. One of the better stretches of shopping options I've ever been seen geographically. Parking lot is not that good and in some areas, poorly designed. Clearly the spots closest to the mall were filled, but there is enough spaces in general unless it's a holiday. Just use caution, because pedestrian walkways are all over the place and some don't follow the signage. Overall the mall is......okay, but nothing special. Not remotely close to other and better (and even smaller) malls. If a mall is good, I'd drive a little further to go there. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again and likely never will. Even the 'high end' Danbury Mall is preferable. Worth checking out if you've never been, but keep expectations a little lower and realistic. read more

It was an impressive surprise to see that the Connecticut Post Mall is making an effort to provide more of a pleasant shopping experience. The mall was clean and security was present and circulating on all floors. The walls throughout the mall have been enhanced with spectacular murals. The remarkable mural in the children's section is bright and colorful. The food court has a few stunning murals that are relaxing and fun. Macy's, Target and Boscov's serves as the major anchor stores. Unfortunately there is a consistent turnover of shops and the Sears location has still not been filled. It would be wonderful to see the mall have a mixed use entertainment amphitheater as some have proposed. read more

I still like to go to the mall. Call me old school. There's something about getting stuff in the store versus online that I love. Also, trying on clothing instead of getting it in the mail is better for me.This mall is always clean & vibrant.The bonus is there's a Dave & Busters in it. I also like the Hot Topic & GameStop. Terrible with service dog policy, I have a service dog in training and I run into small barking dogs all the time. My dog isn't perfect and gets distracted by this obnoxious barking coming from these dogs, they lunge and try to get my dogs attention and the owners don't seem like they care, even with the dogs making scenes security guards walk right by! I talk to them" there's nothing we can do" yes you can they are causing a disturbance kick them out! Please do Better with the policy my life depends on it read more

Not a fan of this shopping mall at all. I liked it a long time ago but not so much now. They have made the place gigantic which seemed a good idea at first but it has had ramifications. The place is so big, when you drive in, you don't know where to go. It can be a bit confusing. Nobody wants to feel like they are driving around a maze. The mall also offers the usual stores but nothing unique or really that different that I see. Food selections are terrible. (A word of advice..do not dine at the Red Robin here). It is awful. To me the increase in size really has not given the mall that much of a different feel except to make it more difficult to park and more confusing to get around and find things. This is not a bad mall, and has a few key stores you would want. It's terribly empty, which gives it a mildly creepy feel. However, it has some basics you'd expect in a mall -- a Victoria Secret, American Eagle, Body Shop, Macy's, and for food -- Auntie Anne's, Pizza Hut. There is also a movie theatre (Cinemark), and some beauty shops -- nails, brows, etc. What I thought was great, is there is a Target connected to the mall, so I got some of my convenience needs taken care of, along with the clothing shopping I needed to do. I am interested in the 7D Adventure, which could be fun. read more

This mall has definitely fallen from Grace over the years. The building itself as well as the stores it contains feel barren and empty due to the lack of investment or renovation. And the general atmosphere desperately needs an upgrade if it wants to stay afloat. I will give it one star for some of the larger and appealing things that it contains, especially Target, H&M, Dick's, Dave and Buster's, and the excellent cinema that is attached here. But everything else surrounding these great stores absolutely pales by comparison. I love malls in general and I hope that this mall can improve upon itself in the future. read more

I heart Express. LOVE IT. And the one in this mall is one of my faves. Along with Solstice, Macy's (I also heart MAC) and H&M. I love the movie theatre in the mall. The only thing this mall lacks is a better jean selection in Macy's and a Dior Counter (I could wish for a Nordstroms, but that won't happen) This is one of the better malls in the area. However...I DON'T heart the parking garages. Everytime I drive up one of them I start cursing. And J just starts laughing at me....which makes me curse more. Stupid parking garages.....whoever designed them should never be allowed to design anything again. read more

In comparison to my usual mall (Trumbull mall) this mall is far more impressive, has a much larger selection of stores, a quite big range of food options and an equally as big parking lot. Not only is this a mall, but it also has a movie theater inside, if anything i find myself coming to this mall a lot more because of that reason. read more

Thoroughly unimpressive. Ranks with Meriden on my list of shitty malls. Danbury and Westfarms make this place look like a craphole. The Target is the most disorganized pigpen of a Target I've ever seen. They do get props for some non-standard food court options though. All in all the store selection sucks for me to drive 45 miles one way to get here. I'll stick to Westfarms which is 15 or Danbury, which is my favorite mall ever, period. read more

Parking garage is a bit of a headache especially the entrance by Dick's. Fitting? I never have a problem here but avoid it at all costs around the holidays. Always experienced friendly, helpful staff at all the stores.. Dave & Busters should be here!!! read more

This mall has changed over the years as an employee I should say come to the post mall, but it doesn't have much to offer store wise you going to the far end were Sears, it looks like a ghost town the only store at that end worth going down there is GameStop. Don't get me started with the food court they have the bare minimum of food places to eat, BWW'S is good an all that but there are 4 chines places behind it and Red Ribbons closed twice. read more

Again, I go to malls for the department stores. The Macy's here maybe has a larger selection of stuff than the Macy's in Trumbull. It has more shoes, that's for sure. And there is plenty of parking. Even the Friday before Xmas I had no trouble, really. But without a really nice department store, this mall is a little blah. It's easy to get to and from on Rt 1, 95 and/or 15. I don't see the resemblance to The City in the film *Logan's Run* that some have noted . . . I kind of like the movie theater, though. We came here to see something (I don't remember what, of course) the week of July 4 and it just so happened they were setting off fireworks and had cleared off a whole deck of the parking garage for spectators. It was a great display in a totally surreal environment. I felt really, um, patriotic, there at the mall. Also, the movie theater has something called MoPIX, which is a description service for the blind and visually impaired. I'm not sure how accessible this service is to people who aren't legally disabled, but it's an interesting feature, and a lot of people enjoy it (tho' it has its critics too) and it's not exactly easy to find a theater that participates in this. When we went to the movies here, though, we couldn't find our way into the mall, except through a wings restaurant. Which gave off a very oily, unhealthy vibe - the staff and food alike. This mall was once a great facility which has been ruined by poor management (by the Westfield Corporation) and competition from other facilities. This facility opened in the 1960's as an open air outdoor shopping center. In the 1990's it was enclosed and later expanded again in the mid 2000's. What a lot of locals don't realize is the mall actually is the largest (by available shopping sq. ft) in Connecticut. The biggest problem... NO PREMIUM RETAILERS!!! The best you're going to find in this mall is Macy's. The other anchor stores consist of Sears, Dicks, JCPenny, and Target. You'll also find plenty of local mom and pop locations which peddle everything from leather goods to as scene on tv products. These stores seem to come and go like the weather and there is little to attract me to shop here. What you won't find is high end stores such as Coach, Tiffany, Lord & Trylor, Nordstorm, Banana Republic, Apple, or J. Crew. Because of this the mall doesn't attract the best type of clientele and safety and security fall by the wayside. This isn't a place you want to be on a Friday or Saturday night. Hungry? The CT Post Mall's larger restaurants include a newly opened Carrabba's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Panera Bread, and Ten Asian Bistro. There is also a food court which aside from Johnny Rockets, Sbarro (recently reopened), Subway and Taco bell are all Asian run. Now if you travel about 15 minutes to Trumbull, CT there is another mall owned by the same company full of these types of premium stores. It would seem that Westfield has no desire to lower their rent for their retail space to attract better more reputable stores in Milford. A word of caution; consider all sales final around holiday time if you buy from a mom and pop store because chances are they wont be around after January. It's a sad state of affairs what Milford has become and it's my gut feeling if one of the major anchor stores closes they are going to be in a world of hurt. The bottom line here is if you're local to the area and need to gather some of the usual mall goodies such as video games, cell phones, athletic shoes, maybe get a haircut, or are in need of some makeup or sporting goods then stop by the CT Post Mall. Otherwise you can just go 15 minutes up the road to Trumbull or even another 20-30 minutes to Stamford or Danbury for a real shopping experience. read more

I have been to this mall quite a few times and my main complaint is about the parking. The lot is horrible and confusing. Why are there so many "merges" in an area with heavy congestion? Well, I always find a space near Border's which isn't so bad. I enjoy browsing the books at Border's and doing a little light shopping at Target. I don't think there are any other stores that I care too much about. Oh wait, there is an "As Seen On TV" store and it carries all sorts of weird products that I would never buy. Fun to browse and wonder if there are really people who need to buy a product called Urine Gone. I saw a movie here once. It's sort of out of the way for me so I don't think I'll go again. My husband sat in the Director's Hall for something and said it was ok. read more

When I was a kid, this mall was a piece of crap. Then they added a second floor, and it was a piece of crap with a second floor. Then they completely overhauled the entire thing, added H&M, Johnny Rockets, and a shiny new movie theater, and... voila! I actually like going shopping here now. Well, as much as a guy can like shopping at a mall... This mall has now overtaken the Trumbull mall as the best mall in the area. Although, Jenny is right about the parking lot. Sigh... this mall used to be the best. The only improvement (which is now even a far stretch) is the parking situation. They've more than quadrupled the parking space that was here before the expansion, but because of shoddy craftsmanship it's already falling apart. I suppose that's what you get when you go with the lowest bidder instead of the actually qualified ones, but whatever. Not my money, not my problem I suppose. Since the expansion, the post road has turned into nothing but a nightmare. As a resident of Milford, this has been the biggest pain in the rear end. Now, instead of just a bit of extra traffic on the weekends, it's a regular cluster you know what almost every day of the week. Trying to find a parking spot on a Saturday after 12pm is like trying to find Waldo on a page held 10 feet from you. It's nonsense and you're better off just parking at an end and walking. Pros: - Sakkio moved to the new food court. - H&M went in. I've been dying for one of these to be local and happily they staffed it with smart employees who don't hate their jobs. Not sure how long it will last, but hey - it's ok for now. - More parking. Until it falls apart - my ETA for a crumbling massive disaster 2-3 years from now. - No more pet shops. Ugh, this irked me to no end. - I get my 10,000 steps in a day when I'm there. This mall is so huge now that one lap down and around both levels easily registers in at a mile. Bring your sweatbands and comfortable shoes - you're about to burn some calories. Cons: - No real department stores. Sears is going out of business. JCPenny is following the same road except a little slower, and Macy's is so overpriced and such a mess from lack of staffing that you can't actually shop there. Safe yourself the effort and go to Trumbull or better yet Westfarms. - Food court is a joke. Sbarro just left, McDonald's never moved over, and all that's left are Chinese food places offering their own version of chicken teriyaki. Even the Greek Soulvaki places is not run by Greeks. The only American faces you'll find are at the Johnny Rockets where you'll fork out $25 to feed two people for some sad, sad looking food. Overall it's a major disappointment. Thankfully the Post Road has a million more choices. - So many people it's ridiculous. If you need to get shopping done, go when the mall first opens or any day during the week before 3pm when the high schoolers get out. Saturdays are claustrophobic and clothing stores are an absolute mess from being destroyed by the masses. Don't bother with a Saturday night - you won't find anything you need, let alone in your size or with a price tag still attached. - Safety. You'll notice that on Saturdays the security staffing is nearly tripled. There have been an insane number of robberies (both in and out of the mall), break ins of cars, and fights in the parking lot. Make sure you park somewhere well lit if you have kids or if you're shopping alone at night. It's sketchy at best in some areas of the mall. read more

Eh. The Westfied Shoppingtown Connecticut Post looks imposing on the outside. Rising up above the area, it looks like a massive mall. In reality, it's two boring floors of normal mall stuff, coupled with a nice-looking IMax theater. There really aren't any interesting stores here, and most of the clothing stores leave much to be desired. So if you need stuff here, it's probably a good choice. Otherwise, eh. read more

I believe that the only reason this mall got 2 stars from me was because they had: Francesca's, Victoria's Secret, Target, Dick's, Macy's, Express, Ulta, Gap, Carrabba's and the nice movie theaters. I had been waiting to get to know this mall a little better before giving it a review but when I spent an afternoon there today I realized my feelings of disappointment. I was in desperate need of retail therapy and when my favorite store Francesca's didn't have anything to offer me I walked around only to be disappointed some more. There was a lack of GOOD clothing stores. Even the good ones don't seem to carry the best. For example, Macy's isn't the best I've been to. Don't even bother going to the lower level. That is where all the small temporary shops are located at. I was reading some other Yelper reviews and began noticing their comments about how quickly stores come and go at this mall. Even Delia's was shutting down for good. Management has to do something to make this mall better. Milford is a nice area deserving of a decent mall. read more

I primarily spent my time in Express clothing store. For the most part, the mall seemed okay. I liked how they have the West Farms Mall version of PF Chang's there. I forget what they called this one. Also, they have a massage therapy place. I still need to know if these therapists are licensed. Lol I went to Express and got some deals. The two females were nice and very accommodating. They even allowed me to leave my personal clothes on their counter. Talk about comfort! It got busy in there but they were still very attentive, opening dressing rooms for people. I left there with a lot of deals and steals. A suit blazer, button up military button up shirt, V-Neck Tee, and Denim pants for around $100? Wow. Winning! read more

It's an average mall. It's clean, there are lots of good stores to shop in and places to eat. Parking is ample. It's relatively safe. They added a movie theater when they did the remodel which is cool but it's just an average run of the mill mall. However if you are a full figured woman like myself it is definitely worth it to stop there because they have Torrid, Lane Bryant, Fashion To Figure, and the Forever 21 has a plus section. Other then that there's nothing over the top here. read more

This mall used to be great, when they had the sky-view cafe in the middle of the mall. Now the food court is terrible. A make-shift deli, several Chinese food stands in a row and a pizza place. All the good stores are leaving this mall. Don't even think about coming here on the weekends. The food court gets over crowded and all the traffic near Buffalo Wild Wings is atrocious. The only good thing about this mall is its convenience to my house, but I will gladly take the trip out to various other malls just to stay clear of this one. And the bottom level smells like garbage. read more

Since when do Malls have Target and a Movie Theatre as anchor stores? And why don't more? It's nice to have a general merchandise store, as you can compile the shopping trip to a single stop, especially is these days of $4/gal gas. The theatre is also top notch in the area. The store selection is good, and all the standard Mal stores are there, i.e. New York and Company, Whitehall Jeweler's, Zales, Macy's, Sears, JC Penny's, Gamestop (x2!), Sunglass Hut, etc. as well as a few one-offs. The weakest points are the food options...you've got the food court, which is almost unanimously bad, save Johnny Rockets, Buffalo Wild WIngs, an Asian placed tucked away in a corner somewhere and 'The Blue Turtle' which tries to be more than it can, or should. read more
