Today was definitely my lucky day. Spent the whole day shopping, but it was very productive. Marshals in Milford was well stocked, organized and fairly clean. Every department had a great assortment of merchandise and most of it was reasonably priced. I was surprised to see the stupendous range of items for sale. From bicycles to framed artwork, Marshall's offered quality merchandise once again. I was able to find a lot of fun items for the children on my list. Some of the items were duplicates of what they carried at Home Goods. If you couldn't find the exact bric-a-brac you are looking for, you may want to check this store for a variety of colors and sizes that are similar. The wait and service at this place is ludicrous. I've been here multiple times and it's just excruciating. There is ZERO efficiency/urgency here. There are TWELVE people in line, two registers open (one cashier just left); many other staff people wandering around the store as slow as molasses. Cashiers chit chatting about their day. read more

On 9/7/2023 at approximately 1:05pm I entered Marshalls, Milford location. My hopes were to purchase a NFL jersey. Before I arrived at the store I called to inquire if the store had any in stock. I spoke with representative Najea who stated there were a few. When I entered I approached two representatives by the name of Natalee and Amanda. They were having a personal conversation and did not pay attention to me saying excuse me three times. After being ignored I became frustrated and found another representative to assist. She stated there were no jerseys and called out to Amanda for assistance. Amanda and Natalee were at this point speaking with the representative and then began to inform me that no NFL jerseys are sold at the location. They asked multiple times if I called the right store. I informed them that I contacted the store prior arriving. To confirm, I called the store in their presence and the same representative Najae answered. I asked her to meet by the men's section to guide me to where the jerseys may be. She stated she was at the register but would once she was done. Natalee gestured with her hands from where she stood and told me to "just go look in that section." I explained to her that I did and would like assistance. She did not move but left me to go back to the representative I initially made contact with. As I turned to walk away I could hear Natalee telling Amanda that I had an attitude and I need to watch who I'm talking to. I turned back and asked Natalee why she felt the need to be disrespectful towards me while I was only asking for assistance. I explained to her that while she was having a personal conversation, I tried to get her attention. She said "So what, maybe I didn't hear you." Natalee began to yell at me and be very argumentative. While her peers tried to calm her she continued to yell over them telling saying I needed to show respect. The disruption was enough that another customer came over concerned. Never did a manager come to see what the issue was. I walked away in search of one. I spoke with a worker by the name of Krissy. I asked if I could make a complaint with a manager or if there was a number to call. She pointed to a sign on the wall with a customer service number. I asked if she was a manager. She stated no and informed me that the manager was a worker by the name of Susie who was out back taking boxes off a truck. Moments later while speaking to an employee at the register Najea who was very helpful, took me to the section that displayed a few jerseys and to my satisfaction there were indeed 3 NFL jerseys on the rack. I thanked Najae for her assistance. Before leaving I decided to ask again for the correct number to call to file a complaint. I was also informed that I could speak to the manager of the store Krissy. Krissy was called to the front for customer assistance. I began to question the representative. I asked if Krissy was a manager and she informed me that she was indeed a manager. I told the representative that I asked Krissy myself if she was a manager and she told me she was not. At that point I was disgusted. Why would she lie? When I am a patron at an establishment I want to be respected. I do not go to stores to be disrespected. This is a business and I'm sure it relies on customers purchases. I am writing this grievance in hopes that there will be disciplinary actions towards the representative Natalee for her behavior and Krissy; in hopes the next patron will not experience social violence and unprofessional behavior the way I did. If Krissy is indeed a manager why would she lie? Maybe she could attend managerial training on handling conflict. I have visited this location before and loved the experience and I would like to continue to do business. This time there were women just in small groups chatting. I purchased a Michael Kor's bag at Marsha'ls in Feb 2019. The strap is starting to fray and since Michael Kor's guarantees their products, I sent their customer service a letter and picture of the purse. They told me to take a photo of the serial number. They even told me where to locate it. Since I could not find the serial number, Michael Kor's asked me to take it ti Marshal's so they could give me the serial number. Marsha'ls could not find it either, which leads me to believe it is a fake. I've not heard anything else from Marshal's or Michael Kors. Be careful of the so called Designer Brands Marshal's is selling. I didn't keep the receipt as I loved the purse and thought it was the real thing. read more

Shoe department is HUGE, which is great, because I came here in search of a pair of fuggs (what I call ugg-style boots that aren't really uggs) and I found them without a problem - and $30! There were actual Uggs too, but they didn't have any in my size :( read more

So COVID focused the customer service is horrendous. Probably just as well they are going out of business.

This Marshall's is wildly underwhelming. The racks are a bit chaotic and the staff doesn't seem to care much about the state of which it's in. The shoe section is lacking and overall the shoes I found had scratches on them or were beat up. The clothing is a bit of nightmare and they don't seem to carry anything on the petite side - very few size 0 or 2 pants/skirts/dresses, and almost nothing in appropriate in a small or x-small. The home store side is nice and has a great selection, so at least there's that. read more

It's a hit or miss, guys. The store it self is clean, and well stocked but I do find the same goods over and over again. On occasion I have found amazing sweaters at decent prices. Staff is friendly and helpful. I love that this Marshall's is in the same plaza as Home Goods! read more

Pretty good Marshalls. The location is great with a big parking lot. I find that all the merchandise is pretty neatly stocked. The shoe department is organized. I've seen some pretty bad Marshalls and this definitely isn't one of them. I've found some great Michael Kors coats in this store. One of them was the exact same they were selling at Macy's for $99.99 instead of $204! I love finding deals like that. read more

Today 2/23/19 at 9:00 pm, Marshalls in Orange CT , was the worst experience to me. The lady in the fitting room wasn't nice, at first she took the clothes from me and put them inside the room by herself. She said it is not allowed to take the clothes by yourself inside. Then, she came back and asked me to wait my son outside who was trying pants. How can I know my son age 9 the clothes fits on him?!!!!! I spoke with her supervisor but I'm still unsatisfied. read more

I love Marshal'ls. I feel like its great deals for a quality price. Usually I am very satisfied walking out, but this time I was a bit disappointed. The merchandise was very unorganized, clothing was disheveled on the racks, and their wasn't much to shop for. Maybe bad timing? I hope next time I don't face the same issues like now. Felt like I was at Petco yesterday. Since when did they start letting everyone bring their dog in?

Small selection and bad organization. I still stop in on rare occasion but rarely a sale. I now go to Burlington in Orange, CT.
