I like this mall! I have been going here for years! Today I did window shopping & went to Target. People say malls are dying. I still love them. There's something about trying on clothing in person instead of ordering it online. I guess it's b/c you get to see the fit. Online shopping most of the time you're taking a chance. There are a huge selection of stores & restaurants. You can get some good sales in store sometimes better than online. You get good value for your buck.The Cheesecake Factory & Ten Asian Bistro are always on point. I appreciate the cleaning workers. This mall & bathrooms are always clean & spotless. read more

This mall is only about 3 miles from me. I noticed they dropped the "Westfield" in their name. Things haven't been the same since Covid. I remember this mall used to host many events. My daughter likes to eat at Ten Asian bistro and the Cheesecake factory here. There's also a food court with many selections. This mall is kind of small compared to others, but it still has good stores that are worth your stop, such as Apple, Bath & Body works, H&M, Hot Topic, Snipes, Sephora, target, Macys, Ulta, etc read more

Having grown up in this area and remembering when this mall was built by the Frouge corporation I can only say that Mr Frouge must be spinning in his grave about the horrible conditions at this once pristine property. I can fondly remember buying my first BB gun at Hermans, school clothes at Reads and eating at the Woolworth cafeteria. If we were really good we ate at the Reads restaurant. This mall has degraded horribly and the owners should be very ashamed.I was in town over the weekend and my wife suggested that we go to the mall . The employee at the H&M store was so rude when I asked her to repeat what she said. The check out experience was incredibly rude: the cashier asked me if I wanted to put my email in and I was confused what she was asking so I asked her to repeat her question, she replied with an aggressive repetition then after I took too long she grabbed the divide out of my hand and said never mind. Other employees were also rude which included the Macy's employees. I would recommend the mall because of the stores and the stuff in the stores but the service itself is really bad & in all rude. read more

Mall security at the Trumbull I called to make sure, security had a ride around scooter. Of course they would not bring it to you at the mall entrance, for someone who can not walk apparently you have to be able to walk to the second floor and down the hall. Well it took me almost 30 mins to get there. With no where to sit along the way. But I get there fill everything out and then told me they did not know how to turn it on. There where two guardsthere. And two guards and they would not allow me to turn it on. Well there stupidly will cost them a bad review. read more

This mall is rather, erm...sparse, but mind you I am accustomed to huge mega malls. It's a quaint small mall...but the bright spot was Made by Hand. Located a few door down from Sketchers, this store stopped me in my tracks. They have real cut trees adorning the front. Anyway, the mall is ok. Not good, not great...just meh. read more

Stopped in at the mall today just to do some window shopping and essentially a good brisk walk because the weather is way too cold to walk outside. The mall has definitely upgraded many of the stores, seating areas and overall look. They have some of the big anchor stores for example Macy's, Lord & Taylor, JC Penney and Target. Plenty of other smaller stores but one thing I have noticed is they seem to have several empty spots. Overall a good mall which is very walkable. read more

I have to lower my review to a 2. I always seem to get gloomy when visiting this mall. So many of the good places have closed and it is just not a great place to go anymore. Their Macy's is nice but parking is still pretty bad and the food choices are horrible. I would not call it the safest place to be at night either. There are not all that many unique stores and where once, I spent much time here, I now find myself avoiding this place whenever possible which is 90 percent of the time. My reasons for doing so, are below. The mall has never had the reputation as the safest place and I'd have to say it probably isn't the place you'd want to be at night alone. Parking can be tough depending on how crowded it is. As for restaurants..they've tried and tried but the restaurants remain a problem. There are not many good ones. Many, many years ago there were some good places but those are long gone. It used to be sort of a hang out during the day as well as at night but now, the last few times I've gone during the day, it has been, if not deserted, then pretty sparsely populated. Lots of cool stores have closed. It's really kind of sad. The food court, as another reviewer mentioned IS anxiety producing. Not only isn't it inviting, it's sort of a turn off. Basic bare bones type of places at the food court. It is either completely crowded or empty. And I just haven't found anywhere in the food court I like to eat. The police station hasn't always been there but it's good they have it. And that says something about the mall. To their credit, they have made it more spacious and the decor is a little brighter. One good thing is that there are more places to sit now. I think they could still do better. Food court as I said is not inviting. There used to be a great sandwich and pie shop called The Cutting Board and a place that sold nuggets and clams. Now..it is just commercial names and there is just a gloomy element to that area. As for stores..commercial standard places, and lots of closed down shops. I really do not like coming here anymore where once I really enjoyed it here. read more

Parking for the stores on the J.C. Penny end of the mall is very difficult. The parking deck was deemed structurally unsafe several years ago and never repaired. They just roped it off and for any store on that side you are forced to walk. read more

I walk in and go where I need to be, buy what I want to buy and I am gone like I was never there. Went to this mall this past weekend when I was home for the weekend. A lot of the stores have closed. I remember when I used to live in CT and there was a JCrew, banana republic, and a gap here. All have since closed and replaced with some store names I've never heard of. Macy's and Lord and Taylor are still there with good selection of clothing. Mall is never crowded and parking is easy.. even when I came here on black Friday it wasn't crowded. I do like the decor and find the whole mall easy to navigate. It's essentially one big circle with two levels. They have this new place that just opened called kidz klub which is a great place to tire kids out. Very clean! I feel its suitable for kids under 10. This is my hometown mall, so I've been visiting for 20+ years. This mall has seen a lot of reincarnations over the years. As a result of that, I would consider this mall to be better than ever! In a time where we've seen some malls flounder, this one still seems to be flourishing. Anchor stores include JC Penney, Macy's, Lord & Taylor. Other stores include a mix of high-end and mid-level stores as well as several trendy spots. Everything from Teavana, to Bare Minerals, Victoria's Secret, Banana Republic, Gap, Old Navy and more. The food court also received considerable renovations a few year's ago so there are some great options there! It's great to have a nice mall in Trumbull! read more

I happened to be up in CT today and ended up at this mall just by chance. I haven't been here in years, so I'm assuming they expanded this mall from when I was last here. I'm thinking this because I don't remember the mall being as big as it is. With that said, I got somewhat lost going in circles today. This is not a huge mall but its big enough to get lost in. It is pretty nice with some upscales stores and average type/regular stores. Looks like they have a nice food court and a few nice restaurants (ruby Tuesdays, Johnny rockets, Panera) Oh I almost forgot, every bathroom area smelled like a backed up sewer... GROSS!!! Please stop all of the fighting at this mall. We loved going here but thelast two times we have gone brawls have broken out in the food court between kids. The selection of shops in the mall itself was great & the layout easy to navigate. Maybe it was the weather but there was plenty of parking & the mall seemed busy but nothing was crowded or miserable. Until last week, I hadn't been to Westfield Trumbull since high school, a good 15+ years ago. At that point, the mall had clearly seen better days and was seemingly on the decline. So, I was pretty surprised and delighted after visiting last week and seeing its impressive reincarnation! My sister lives closer to Trumbull than I do, so we went for some post-holiday gift returns. Not only is the mall beautifully redone but it seems to be thriving with a great mix of high end and mid-level stores... plus a Target! Parking was easy, food court excellent, stores clean, and shopping convenient & easy to navigate. Total win. read more

Hm. It's hard to complain about this mall, since I managed to find a cute, flattering, rather cheap suit that was just the cut and color I had wanted, in one single afternoon, in late December. There were a fair number of elderly ladies doing holiday shopping and negotiating their elaborate Macy's discounts and the Macy's staff was totally polite and pleasant. They were also able to answer basic questions. Lord and Taylor had higher quality items, and better selection. In between the two department stores was the usual smattering of places I don't really shop. The mall has a kind of shabby vintage charm (the tile takes me back to when I was little and played hide and seek in the mall with my grandparents) and it was VERY quiet for the season, but the parking lot was pretty full and getting fuller in the after work hours. The basement level had a lot more bustle, especially around the food court. Which has a Taco Bell, among other things. We had the generic soft/salty/sweet pretzels, upstairs. Actually, we had the pretzel dog, which was a huge 100% beef hotdog wrapped in a skimpy amount of pretzel. Bathrooms and water fountains are minimal. In addition to the Macy's and Lord and Taylor, there's also a JC Penney's. And they are putting in a Target. The mall is also easy to find from 15. read more

All of the higher end stores have left: JCrew, Ann Taylor, Talbot's, Godiva, all gone. What's left is low end stores and with many that are not known brands. They removed the Shopping Park from the name perhaps because it's filled with several play areas for kids, an Aquarium and a fast-food food court. I noticed a 7-Eleven is coming soon!!! Very little shopping except for lord and Taylor, Macy's, JC Penny's and Target. I sure hope that the anchor stores stay It's unfortunate because at one time it was a nice mall! read more

This is really a great mall in our area! It is a lot larger than the Stamford Mall and it is not a hard drive at all. The mall is located right off the merrit for easy access no matter what part of ct you are comming from. The parking lot is super large and you will never have an issue finding a spot. They recently re did alot of this mall which has turned out great. The food court has gotten larger and we all know that is a plus! They have stores here that you cant find at other malls such as rue 21 and lush. I wish there were more lush stores down this way! Everything here is always very very clean and organized! Whatever store you go in I never see clothes thrown all over the floor or stains on the carpets or anything. Another big plus is that the target here is connected! I wish more malls would connect their targets like this mall :) read more

The Westfield Malls put the Simon Malls to shame. This was the first Westfield Mall we visited on our trip and my favorite. Beautifully decorated for Christmas, stores that were interesting like boba tea and bookstores like BAM plus your traditional mall stores made it a fun place to spend an hour walking around and browsing. Plenty of parking and even though it was pretty busy when we were there on a Friday afternoon it never felt crowded. Plenty of room to walk and not have someone in your space. I'm jealous of the people living near that mall as it was so much nicer than any Simon run mall that I've been to in Massachusetts. read more

Visited Westfield Trumbull yesterday when filling in as manager for another store. It was my first time there and I was highly impressed. It has a good mix of mid level and high end stores. Love that there is a Target attached to the mall. The food court has a number of different restaurants there is something for everyone down there. There is also a Cheesecake Factory and Panera. The parking is ample and it was pretty clean. I did notice a lack of mall directories. If I hadn't looked up where I was headed online or got directions from a coworker I would have had a bit of a hard time finding my store. More mall directories or at least ones by the entrances would be helpful to your customers. It seems fairly easy to navigate once you've figured out where your going. Overall an enjoyable experience. read more

So if you read my review for Mall of America you would have learned I don't care for malls...HOWEVER.. this mall has a decent layout, so you have the feel of having choices and finding something new, rather than the typical 3 floor perpendicular layout. This mall has corners and curves to mall walker style around or..shop. Yay for Target, Starbucks, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (love their iced cubes..however quality of drinks isn't great compared to Los Angeles standards), Uniqlo (itd so small though =(), large one floor Forever 21, 2 floor H&M...food..being vegan you must take my review lightly..great variety? Panera Bread, Taco Bell, what else has vegan options..Jamba Juice, Ruby Tuesday's, Asian Fusion (table service), Cheesecake Factory (opening soon..never ate there..but everyone except for me has and loves it)..2 nail salons, 2 threading stations.. Parking is abundant near Panera Bread. Target parking you want to avoid at all costs unless you are shopping at Target..you don't want to haul a mess of bags from Target across a mall, do you? It recently went under a HUGE face lift which includes a new dining area and an array of new stores that i previously had to go elsewhere for, but now i have no need to go to any other local mall as this has pretty much everything i need. The women's bathroom on the lower level next to the food court is a disgrace. It's been renovated a few years ago and; it looks nice and everything has been automated to avoid touching but currently most sensors are not working properly, including water and soap dispensing. The sinks' water sensors don't really work and when they do work it is only for 5 seconds. Not an ideal situation during a pandemic... read more
