Horrible company and no scruples. Delivery person delivered a fridge with a dent in the door and scratches on the side, and a broken tray. He said he was taking pictures and sending it to his boss. He then told me I had to sign the invoice, but he indicated the damage was noted and it was ok because it was escalated. Now Conns is trying to say because I signed noting the damage I accepted it. That is not the case. I signed because your shady delivery man said it was ok because he noted the damage and escalated the pictures to his boss. Let me tell you about a story of a family who was looking for a great deal on a Brand New Samsung French Door refrigerator and after delivery of a DENTED unit. So we in and I left the final choice up to my wife because my initial want was the Smart French Door but my wife and I both decided it would not be a good idea with our Special Needs Adult we live with that has a Technology Addiction and cannot control himself (for another time...lol) So after looking, touching, opening, measuring and checking options of things we liked and what brand we wanted. We agreed on Samsung No Fingerprint Black Stainless Steel RF28JBEDBSG (28 cu ft) ($2,630.99) amazingly enough. With our Black and Stainless other appliances, it was a great choice, so much so I even found the Samsung Black SS HE FL Washer 8 Cycle and Samsung FL Elec Black SsDryer with Samsung Pedestals Black SS. (Totalling $1,779.97). So we had a hiccup finding cash we stashed for lessening the total amount financed. Resolved and I walked in Friday to assisted by a new Salesman Chris, who took great care of us and was absolutely accommodating to any and every question. Needless to say, I had a lot of time to check out a lot of their products from Washer and Dryers, I looked at coaches because we will need one sooner or later. So In my mind, I was planning the pay off of the fridge and go to the W/D and then Living Room Furniture. So we finally got all the paperwork and was told to call and schedule a delivery before 4:30pm (Actually 6:30pm). So prepped for delivery of the new Unit, and cleaned the entire space that has been occupied for almost 10 years. Will be a Yearly cleaning Cut it was kind of scary. But I digress. You are here to find out how my wife and I spent $2,630.00 on a Brand New Scratch and Dent Samsung Refrigerator. So delivery guys were good and early the Saturday they delivered and did not seem to cause any damage as I opened my double front doors and guided them into the kitchen. The little guy had it plugged in and working on door handles and plastic wrap, as my son and I rolled the 23-year-old fridge in for a transfer of goods in (Under 3.95 minutes) As I sat admiring the speed of the New Booty-full fridge in all its glory, I noted a dent and they skinny one said they would tell the Service Desk. I went on the website signed into my account and opened a complaint. First, I work nights, this was already known by the store manager and my salesman, and I got a call Sunday saying they have closed the incident without ever speaking to me, so I had to call back and re Open a new case referring to the first because it had the pictures. Well low and behold, I got a Service Team to show up to adjust the right drawer that drops when you close it. With shims, they resolved it. and I asked them about the dent and they said they were only there for the door. Which by the way after they jacked up the left front corner a bunch and shimmed the right door it seems to open and close a lot smoother. So I am back on the chip to find a sympathetic ear as to why I am making payments on a 2600 dollar Scratch and Dent and not a new Refrigerator per the Signed agreement they did not uphold. After several phone calls and escalations, $200 is all they will do, and if I wanted a new one, I would be charged a Restocking fee and any difference would by my responsibility. So to recap, we paid, $630 in the store and financed $2000 and they made me sign an agreement for a new fridge but I got scratched and dented one with a $200 concession. I am consulting a Consumer Legal advocate to discuss the fine details of Purchasing a New refrigerator and getting a Scratched and Dented and calling it "NEW". Just be careful, they have nice sales People but the Decision Makers are Corporate Spineless drones who support their own bottom line. So if you buy from them 1. Inspect 100% before you take delivery - Once it's in and you sign, you have accepted it regardless of anything you find after. 2. Do not expect someone to sympathize with you, their job is not go give anything back since you still have to make payments 3. Pay it off as quickly as possible-Lesson the total interest and to get free of the binding agreement. I spent $7000 on new appliances on 4th of July. Today is august 4th and the dish washer is still not installed, the stove is not installed correctly, they delivered the wrong washer and a handle on the fridge fell off. The delivery guys had to take off a door on my house to get the fridge in and they hung the door back up crooked. Now it doesn't close properly. When they delivered the wrong washer I didn't notice at first because it was similar to the one they were supposed to send. Once I noticed I went to the store, maybe 20 minutes after the delivery guys left. The store manager insisted he couldn't do anything. So I called corporate and they said they can't touch the order since it wasn't an online order. Luckily the sales associate was really nice and the next day when I told him what corporate said, he told the District manager and the district manager made it right. The sales associate Chris, has gone above and beyond, trying his hardest to get this POS company to do something right and he is the reason I gave 2 stars. The company deserves negative 5 stars without him. I do appreciate the district manager for finally doing the right thing as well on the washing machine. read more

I apologize for the long review, but as they say, devil is in the details, Today, I went to this Conn's location for a laptop, after I checked their prices online, and checked the financing options. The price online - and later in store- was $1,799.99. The finance, would be $76, as it says in both their website, and on the tag, in the store. Sounds cool right? Wrong! Cause the prices were absolutely not what was said, or written. I walked in, and asked for a gaming laptop as a gift, a sales lady took me to another sales person, who seems to be the expert on these stuff. After a few question, I decided to buy it, for the price shown of course. She sat me down, and I was asked a bunch of questions, by this obviously new sales lady - I asked her if she was new, based on the way she is dealing with stuff, and she confirmed it, with the lowest voice possible- and being new, is not the issue, we were all new at something sometime, but being pushy is, she kept asking stuff like "Are you gonna take it?" or "See! it is great! I think you should take it", or "So you are taking it, right?". After that, she asks me a bunch of questions, so she can do the sale, then she tells me that I was not approved, and gave me the "Only" option to go through which is American Finance First. And "surprisingly" I was approved, although I have absolutely no bad credit, no debts, and nothing of the sort. So, after I got approved, for part of the price, I paid the remainder, and I went to check on the finance options. It turns out that I have to pay around $350 a month, instead of the $76 advertised online and on the tag. I refused the sale, and refused the financing options (Which would turn the price of $1799.99 into $6450 or something very close to that number) Unless I pay the whole amount within 90 days which would be $1799.99 + %12 instead of the 24 months option they have provided first. The funny thing is, that they have a poster as you walk into the store, saying 10 reasons why you should choose Conn's, one of them says "The price we say, is the price you pay" Now. Conn's were saying $1799.99 and wanted me to pay that plus %12, or I can have the other option of 24 months, which makes it up to an amount close $6450. I am wondering, is that a way to make business? To try and twist someone's arm? Knowing that it was a gift? If there would be something like half a star, I would definitely give them that, cause I don't believe that they even deserve a single star, for lying to their customers, and wasting their time, and getting into their personal information as a requirement of the sale. The return policy was only 14 days. In my case not even enough time to discover that they upsold me a HDMI cable kit for my TV that I didn't need. Their salesman said I needed it costing me an additional $ 200. When the Geek squad hooked up my TV and Surround sound for me they said that $ 200.00 for the cable hook up kit was not necessary that I should take it back. When I went the store to return it I was told that it was past the 14 day return period. I was not told that at the time of purchase. We have been searching through every furniture store throughout the entire Valley, and it seems that we keep seeing the SAME stuff in different stores to the point of giving up finding what we are looking to find. So I was approved for up to $6000 and I went into a store to get a laptop a TV and a few accessories. I read all the paperwork and brought the required documents, well at least what I thought was the required documents. I just got a new license on Monday so all I have is the paper temp DL. It is a state issued DL, which is all the email stated that I needed. Not one place does it say that the paper temp DL would not be accepted. I was ready to spend almost $3000 and now I don't want to go back after my physical DL comes in the mail. I took my entire lunch break and drove in the heat for 20 min just to try and spend some money and y'all wouldn't take it. I found a reasonably priced leather love seat on line, for a little over $700.00. It said the center console was sold separately for an additional $100. When I get to the store to look at it. This love seat is actually closer to $1600.00. Come to find out the love seat comes in 3 pieces, each sold separately. The matching sofa was only $1300.00. I do not think I will be back. We purchase a Serta mattress from them after shopping a few other mattress stores comparing prices and availability because they were able to waive the delivery fees as well as deliver that day. The mattress started sagging after only a couple of months on both sides of the bed. This is the 3rd Serta that I have purchased that has done the same thing! I called their corporate office and they scheduled a furniture inspector to come out for that Saturday. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He said all Serta mattresses from the low end to their high end all do the same thing after a few months. Our mattress was sagging 2-3 inches in some places. I called their corporate office again where they informed me that I could receive a refund if approved by the store manager. I went down to the store and requested a refund. The store manager said I could and he sent the request in. We then went out a purchased another mattress from another up and coming mattress company that offers their beds for more than half the price and back them without needing a lame inspection. I purchase 2 100% leather reclining couches and an 100% leather reclining chair. I've had this furniture for less than two years and about 5 weeks ago the center cushion started to split along the seam. Now, two things about this...found out it wasn't made of leather and we have never sat on the center cushion since it doesn't recline. I've been bounced back and forth between customer service, their service center and Customer service Supervisor. They said they won't do anything about the couch that they misrepresented as 100% leather. Their company line is I should of told them during the 1 year warranty period that I was ripped off. Just letting everyone know that Conn's will not be assisting Federal employees in any way during this government shutdown. While Federal employees are not receiving paychecks your Conn's payments are still due, and you will still be charged fees and interest (as if Conn's predatory interest rates aren't already high enough!!). Most reputable companies are working hard to help these people during this time. Things like not requiring payments, accounts being put on hold with no extra fees or interest charges - NOT CONN"S!! If you can get your products from other companies I would highly recommend it! read more

Been meaning to leave this review so now, here it is. I went to Conn's at Metrocenter for a dishwasher after seeing one that I liked in a newspaper advertisement. The salesman told me they did not have that one in stock, but that they had some at their warehouse in Buckeye. So, I said great and asked him when it would arrive from the warehouse. He told me that it would take a couple of days. Then he explained that it would cost $79 extra to have it delivered to the store from the warehouse or I could just drive out to the warehouse and pick it up there. Are you kidding me? What a crock! I will never go into Conn's again. read more
