I'm extremely disappointed that we called a technician due to our fridge not sealing. he came, took the door off, then tried to address the seal. He put the door back on and then said it was fixed. He advised me to replace the filter, so I opened the door and it was loose. he called his manager and said it was unrepairable. its still under warranty and they stated they would call in about 7 days and replace. we called after 7 days and advised they denied the replacement as the technician said we took the doo off which was not true. I called and spoke with management again and not they're going to use the accurate information and call me back in 24-48 hours. it's unfortunate that I have a fridge under warranty and can't get a replacement. I just bought a indoor exercise bike. Tried to set it up and it isn't getting any power. I am getting the run around from the "so called" warranty department for Fitness Department and have gotten hung up on twice. Conn's is telling me that I have to pay a restocking fee and a fee for someone to come pick it up. I was not told any of this at time of purchase. I wasn't told that I could have someone come deliver and set it up for $99. Now I can't return a non working item?? This is the worst experience I have ever had. I bought an outdoor patio table with 6 chairs. The young saleslady was nice. I paid $400 cash and $850 on a debit card. I was given a due date one week from the purchase. I was told by the salesperson would be getting a call to notify when the delivery would arrive. One week later my patio furniture never arrived. I spoke to the mgr on duty and he lied by telling me the shipping place just created a tracking label. I never received it. I told the mgr that I may my refund back. Wow, I am definitely experiencing huge buyers regret! Found the same TV at target for $300 dollars cheaper, and Conn's price match guarantee does not apply to Black Friday sales. My salesperson was a good dude, but had the worse time at this "closer to me distribution center". I showed up at the distribution center early (they open at 11) and one other person showed up after me. I had to wait for 45 minutes for a TV - that is a ridiculous amount of time at a place that had one other person who showed up half hour after me and was given her items at exactly the same time. Where to start... If you see 0% financing remember that is only for one year. Plus you still pay $100 to finance (read the fine print). Not to mention they add in $200 property insurance. WORST COMPANY to do business with. My side by side LG refrigerator stopped working about 3 weeks ago. Technician after technician has come by my house to repair. Last tech that was at my house who supposedly replace parts, and fridge still not working, burned my tile in kitchen!!!!!! Fridge still not cooking. I have to keep cleaning mold that is growing inside fridge. Lost all my food. This has been ongoing since FEB 3. I used the same as cash financing option and paid off my balance two days later to find out that there was a loan processing fee of $100.00. That came out to almost 15% interest that they made on my purchase. I should've waited and gone to a real electronics store without the pushy salespeople working on commission. Worst experience. We purchased our stuff . No problem with the sales person . The issue was trying get it delivered . We paid extra to have it taking to the second floor in our house. I received a call that they were arriving in 30 minutes . I told them I wasn't home they promised me they would go on the next run and come back to me. That didn't happen. The manager promised a discount. The next day they came out again . The driver made every Excuse in the book not to bring it in. They finally said it's due to some pictures on the wall. That's fine in general as they have to load things, but to work as slow as possible and chat while slowly loading one thing at the time shows that they have no customer service at all. The sales person that helped us no sorry screwed us was named Fabiola (beware she lies to get a sale) We told her about three times that we wanted to take advantage of the 2 year no interest promotion on there living room sets . Well we found the set and again told her we want the promotion, she runs my sons credit.. Her exact words are excellent credit we got you 2 years no interest.. Great so we proceed with the purchase, couches are delivered and then we find out that she lied .. no 2 yr promotion but high interest rate!!! Call the store , and basically sorry nothing we can do for you , that particular set was not part of the promotion .. I spoke to several people explain the the whole situation and they try to blame the customer, so I go over there heads and email corporate and same thing from them... all they said was they would reach out to the sales person and retrain her...lol . Why the hell do I care about that she should of been trained correctly before I walked in to the store. I'm still waiting for multiple call backs that mangers and customer relation reps.So beware when you go for sure if she approaches you say no thank you.. I bought a 75" TV and sound bar from Conn's Home Plus. They charged me a $250 installation fee which they do not actually do themselves and apparently that $250 doesn't cover installation of the sound bar. They partner with NAO Group who stated that I would have to pay an extra $55 for the sound bar installation (which I did) then the NAO Group hires some other company to actually do the installation. So, I have already paid over $300 for this installation, NAO Group gave me an 8a.m.-12p.m window for when the installers would show up and it is currently after 1:20p.m. I have contacted NAO group multiple times who keep assuring me that the company will contact me, however, they cannot give out the direct contact information for me to call the installers directly. This process has been maddening and is a grossly inadequate way to conduct business, especially, when your business revolves around the customer experience. Conn's Home Plus should not be selling service they do not actually have and the NAO group should be holding there contractors accountable. At this point, it is a failure any way you look at it and I will highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

Do NOT purchase the insurance for your furniture through conns! I have been a customer for almost 5 years, and have financed several items through them. I purchases a leather couch, and the insurance for repairs at the salesmans pressuring.....It will cover EVERYTHING says Mr. Salesman...Me and my husband have no kids, and are clean professional hard working ppl. The couches leather is starting to split in several areas on one seat cushion. I called in the repair, the repair man came out, said he would order a new cushion cover, then call us. Instead I got a call from a rep saying it would not be covered?? .Its less than a year and half old?!? The sales guy who pressured me into buying it used examples like "you can stab with a screw driver!" " your toddler can cut it up!" But beware ppl, if its just horrible cheap furniture from conns, they will not cover it, and it will NOT even last through the full finance period. We were lied to twice when we asked for a corporate number, then routed to other locations....We were about to go buy a washer and dryer from these ppl, but consumer BEWARE, they are liars, and crooks. I received a dishwasher on 6/1/16, and it didn't work. On 6/2/16 Conns sent a man out to see that it work...it still didn't work. Since 6/2/16, The repair man called from my house and stated that it had to be replaced. I have talked to Managers at Conn's who don't care about customer service. They were always going to call me back...and never did. I would call and wait 15 minutes for a manager...then I would hang up and call back...another 15 minutes and not manager...call back and after 10 minutes...they hung up the phone. I did speak. I was told (and I didn't get the persons name, but he told me that it would be delivered on 6/3). Chris the manager told me on 6/3 that it would be delivered on 6/4 (all of this with many phones because no one ever calls you back with an update}, plus, I had to drive to Conn's to get that information Chris told me I'd be getting a call on 6/4, giving me an estimated time of delivery. Well, I never received the call on 6/4.. On 6/5, I spoke with the opening manager, Joey...poor man....he is so rude, disrespectful, and displays an attitude...that he doesn't care. But he did tell me that he would contact the "Back-up Delivery man", and get it delivered. Well, he never called back so after church, I called him. He told me it would have be delivered on 6/6. He can't contact the warehouse because they are moving and don't have phones. He sent an email to them but they never answered him. He was so rushed in his talking that I couldn't understand him, but he would hang up before I could ask any questions. I am a retired 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran, and I don't need a young, smart mouth, non-patriotic individual treat me with disrespect, and it seemed like he liked being in control. About 1:30, I spoke with Ramon, a manager. He was the most professional and knowledgeable individual, he explained to me that the ball was dropped...he was sorry that there had been miscommunication with the warehouse and the store. So there was nothing to be done today, and the dishwasher will be delivered tomorrow (6/6). Get a "Better Life with Conn's....NO You get a lot more headaches. Get a "Better Buy"....NO. Home deport, Lowe's, and Sears have the same prices. I just hope that I get my dishwasher on 6/6. Hi guys, Do NOT buy anything from Conns. I have been a customer since 2012 and since then I have been through three refrigerators. Their delivery team sucks, their Techs do not know what they are doing and the worst part is their customer service is horrible!!! I have been out, a whole month without a fridge, and have called more than 10 times for update and they just point fingers to Manufacturer or who ever they want. I have called the tech, customer service reps and even supervisors. Do not expect a call back promptly. I have wasted more than a 1k in eating out and all they tell me is they can give me $180 dollars, I have not even seen that yet!!! This is the last time I will buy Conns, I came here because they are cheaper than Sears but with my experience I will pay the extra $200 for better service. My husband and I went to this store to go look at cameras and computers. When we entered the store not one sales person greeted us. We had been there for about 20 minutes looking around at the merchandise we were interested in and still NO ONE ever asked if we needed help. Three employees looke at us and nothing. Finally we were frustrated and started to walk out the door. Before we left, I went up to a manager and told him of our experience but of course he was anxiously wanting to help us. The options are buy from Conns are really good and they're warranties are exceptional. However, their warranty PROCESS is horrible and a major inconvenience to the customer. We recently had our window unit go out and our product was still under warranty. The heat is no joke in South Texas and we knew there was a chance we'd have to wait for someone to come out. We waited three days for someone to come out thinking that it was going to be fixed and was really excited when we noticed the big Conns truck pull up our house. Turns out that he was only there to diagnose the issue but not to fix it. He even came in with a bag of tools. Turns out it was a fan that had gone bad. He even stated that it would be an easy fix. But what kind of repairman comes by in a huge truck, with tools, says it's an "easy fix" and doesn't even have the part to fix it? So now, with a 60 year old grandmother and disabled man, have to wait another 3-5 days for simple fan to arrive. We understand that he's just doing his job and its not his fault but Conn's should really do a better job and noticing the inconvenience they put on customers when something like this happens. I could've had a friend come by and fix it same day but I knew that would've voided my warranty so I didn't do that. They're really slow on the repair but if I'm late one day on a payment, I get about three calls from their collections department. Get it together for your customers, Conn's!! read more
