I was worried it would be going on and off all night long, interrupting our sleep all night. Moeller Electric picked up the call on the first ring, and over the phone walked me through how to fix the alarm. It was very stressful, as the alarm was blaring in my ears while I was up on the ladder, but they stayed on the phone with me and walked me through it. They did not charge me for this. I am super thankful and grateful to them for helping me through a harrowing experience.

Also, Derek seemed like a very nice and knowledgeable guy. This review stems completely from the poor service. I initially contacted another electrician who is prominent on Yelp requesting a quote. After months of being given the run-around by them, we finally got an appointment set up at 3pm on a day in December. So 3pm rolls around and instead of the electrician showing up, I get a call from Derek at Moeller. He says he was they referred me to him. Not at all Derek's fault. I told him I had an appointment for pretty much right now and he hopped in his truck and came over. So I had a very good impression of him at this point. We discuss a number of things I wanted done and he lists a few options. Very helpful. Then he takes down my info, says he'll email me the quote and we part ways. Three weeks go by and I still haven't heard anything. Now I feel like I've been blown off by two electricians. Although that is pretty unprofessional, I don't want to find another electrician and go through the whole thing again. Plus, I liked Derek well enough when we spoke. So I call him back. He remembers me and apologizes for dropping the ball. We confirm my email address again as well as the details of the quote and he says he'll get it out to me soon. EDIT: When I originally wrote this review, it had been a long while and I thought Derek had ignored my second request. Recently, however, I have spoken with him and it turns out he had sent out a quote following my second request in January - but sent it to the wrong email address. I did go to pains to make sure the correct address was supplied in both of the above cases, but I do accept that this was an honest mistake. So my only legitimate complaint can be about not receiving the initial December quote in a timely fashion. I have increased my rating to reflect that. I am glad that many other people have found Moeller Electric's work to be great and I would have liked to find that out, myself.

Amp Champ Electric sent me a message and I called them. John was very responsive and came same day! In fact from what I described to him over the phone (under kitchen sink electric plug doesn't work after it got wet) he already diagnosed the problem. When he came out, he was correct! The GFCI was shut off and all he had to do was go to the control panel and reset everything. He showed us the the kitchen reset have now moved over to the solar control panels versus the old house control panels. It was a quick visit but he got the job done! Thank you! PS: I have done various research and his price is fair. Lady B Electric wanted to do an emergency visit and that was just $200 to come out. Michael Leasure also reached out and spoke with their office manager who would pass my info to Mike. I never heard back from them. I called and had one of the Tnt electricians come out 6 weeks ago who cataloged everything I needed and then 2 weeks later after not hearing anything at all, I attempted to call and get a bid so that I could commence with the work, especially since I am in the dark! After many calls & texts and 4+ weeks later I finally was sent a bid that didn't match the job I requested because the technician they sent out wasn't the one who actually did the bid which is fine if you have a very clear and straight-forward system which they apparently don't because the bid was nonsensical. Brian (I assume the owner) spoke with me last Wednesday and said he was going to have a team meeting the next day and get right back which he didn't. I am not a difficult person to deal with but the lack of professionalism these guys have shown me has pushed me to a breaking point. I wouldn't trust these guys to do my job in a timely manner if they offered to do it for free. Beware!
