There is absolutely no pride of ownership anywhere in this gym. The owner, manager, and staff are completely lazy. The gym is absolutely filthy, and every plate loaded machine is never cleared after using. There are some nice pieces in there for a quality workout, but the lack of maintenance on them shows. The guide rods aren't lubricated, the cables aren't installed at the correct length, dumbbells are always loose, all cable accessories are just thrown into random bins throughout the gym. They only have 4 spray bottles installed on random pillars throughout the entire gym for wiping down equipment, so most of the equipment never gets cleaned. The only reason we signed up there is because my wife competes, and they have a posing room. What they didn't mention, is that its only open during staffed hours, because "someone might take weights in there". This place is a joke. Maybe if it was earned, instead of given, it would be more appreciated. There are other gyms in the area where you can get a good workout, one being less than a block away from Tiger Iron, and not have to worry about catching a staff infection from the equipment. Stay far away from this dump.

From the moment we arrived, the service was on another level. At check-in we were offered a drink, and instead of just handing us a key and pointing to the elevator, someone personally walked us to our room and showed us around the property. I have never experienced that before at a hotel, and it immediately set the tone for the entire stay. The hotel itself is absolutely immaculate. Everything feels polished, calm, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell that every detail was intentional, from the atmosphere of the lobby to the way the staff interacts with guests. One thing that really stood out were the luxury touches throughout the room. The amenities included Bulgari soaps, body wash, and even perfume, which made the whole experience feel elevated the moment you walked into the bathroom. The marble soaking tub and spacious shower made the space feel more like a private spa than a typical hotel bathroom. Even outside the room, the design details continue. Right by our door there was literally a small moss garden built into the hallway area, which was such a unique and calming touch. At that point I was joking they might as well add a mini waterfall by everyone's door because the atmosphere was already that peaceful. They also offer thoughtful touches during the day like dessert hour, which made the stay feel even more special. It wasn't just a place to sleep -- it felt like a full experience. As someone who works in hospitality and kitchens, I naturally notice service and details more than most people. I have to say this hotel truly impressed me. This is honestly the level of hotel I would want to run or build one day. What I loved most is that everything felt warm and welcoming, not stiff or overly formal. The staff genuinely made you feel taken care of. If you're visiting Auburn and want a stay that feels luxurious, thoughtful, and memorable, The Laurel Hotel & Spa absolutely delivers.

Having been to Thrive Coffee and even in the lower floors for Auburn events I was not exactly sure how to get into it. However, there is a separate valet entrance. We were greeted immediately by a host who showed us around and brought us to the 6th floor to The Library where we were given lemonade with an option to spike it. This was not a wait in line for someone to help you. This was a concierge service the whole time. Our host brought us to the room and showed us around, who doesn't love an iPad to control your thermostat, your blackout shades, tv, and music. The room is deathly quiet. You can actually hear yourself think. The marble bathroom with the tv in the mirror, the separate water closet, shower, and bathtub with Bvlgari amenities is stunning. The bed is uber comfortable with high thread count sheets. The bar cart with items for mixed drinks is something I have never seen in the thousands of room nights ai have stayed all over the world. All and all this is a treasure. I hope I am able to stay here many more times. If you have an Amex Platinum card they have outstanding amenities that were available at this point...including free valet parking, free breakfast, and $100 voucher for restaurant or spa.

I like that you can use the Hilton app to choose your room, so with all those factors, we chose one of the fourth (top) floor. The room was clean, and it was better updated than a lot of hotels we've visited lately. I did like that the in-room coffee offered was a pod system so we didn't have to make an entire pot. The hotel does offer breakfast for an additional fee ($7.95) if you aren't a certain level of Hilton Rewards member. It wasn't something we needed, so I really didn't pay attention to it, though I did see a nice table of coffee and beverages in the lobby as part of it. There is a Waffle House pretty much within walking distance, so there is something nearby if you prefer. There are also several restaurants nearby, and it's easy to get on/off the interstate nearby.

He wanted to be sure whomever he was speaking with, knew that he'd call them back just as soon as he could get rid of me. He was short and acted bothered during our brief encounter. I wouldn't dare hold him any longer. Elevator- nasty and old smelling with disgusting carpet. The room was so dingy and smelled just the way it looked! I wiped the hard surfaces down and my wipes were dirty afterwards. I can only imagine what's in the carpet and drapes. They didn't even bother vacuuming the room as evidenced by the candy and wrappers that remained underneath. The carpet was also stained very badly. I literally booked this hotel because I needed a few hours of sleep when my kids and I got stuck in deadlocked traffic. I paid $150+ for the worst room I've ever stayed in. I didn't sleep a wink because I was so uncomfortable because of the subpar conditions of the room. **See pics of underneath the beds.

Let me start off by saying how incredibly happy I am that I finally did this. I have had little to no eyebrows since I can remember and have been drawing them on daily, I could not have asked for a more perfect 1st experience and I now have some awesome brows! Raquel was so patient with me and I totally trusted her to do what she thought would look best on me. When I saw the results I couldn't believe it! It looks like I have actual eyebrows for the first time in forever.. not just drawn on but literally looks like real eyebrows. I am forever grateful and would highly recommend her!! She not only invests in learning more, but she just has a really great eye. She has truly honed her craft. I won't go to anyone else! I traveled from Vermont just to see her-- she's better than even NYC artists I interviewed. Westchester is lucky to have her in the area!!
