While we enjoyed the concert, not a single thing about the venue went well. First, admission was disorganized, delayed and what was supposed to be VIP seating turned into the most cramped space imaginable. Service, either at the bar or at the tables was next to impossible. We waited 30 minutes for two glasses of wine, one mixed drink and one water. The six food items we ordered for our group of six people yielded only two sub-par appetizers. The rest of the food - over a 3.5 hour period - never arrived. Beyond never being able to find a server, the inattentive bar staff and no-where-to-be-found management, it became clear to all in attendance that the staff completely abandoned any effort to serve guests after about one hour and 45 minutes into the evening. Numerous people were opening questioning whether the staff had simply walked out, if only there was someone to ask. At one point, both the entertainment (Steve Grand) and the packed house openly joked about the fact that no food or drinks were being served. Gallows humor, yet no effort by management was made to remedy the situation. Yet, checks were dropped with haste toward the end of the evening. One in our party joked, "How did these checks get here? By drone?" The final touch, of course, was that nearly every check dropped at our large, communal table was wrong. We were charged for food that never came, and drinks we never ordered. When I found a server, hiding out in the lobby and asked what happened to cause such a train wreck of service, he told me "they reorganized the tables right before the event." I'm not sure why moving tables would derail service so unbelievably, but it did and still there was no apology. Just lots of servers sheepishly changing checks of very angry guests. I was embarrassed for our friends and for the fact we promised them a great evening. We ultimately found a nearby restaurant still open afterward and got something to eat after four hours of non-service. The management should be ashamed of themselves for not stepping up and making some type of effort to apologize to the entire crowd. When your entire room full of guests and the entertainment are making a stink about horrific service, you step up and take responsibility. All this place seems to want to do is take your credit card.

He loves him and I thought this would be a great surprise. We arrived and got some great seats. Like normal venues there is a two drink minimum. However, the prices there are a little on the high side. $10 min for a glass of wine and $11 for liquor. And that's the cheap stuff. Show was supposed to start at 5pm. It started closer to 6pm. Apparently Kreskin failed to mention that he refused to start the show while drinks and food were still being served. Has he never done a show in a venue like this. I've been to plenty of these venues where you can order drink. Service was awful. It took at least 20 minutes to get a drink. I drank my two drinks 30 minutes before the show started and then my glass sat empty for almost two hours. They never made an announcement that drinks were not going to be served during the show. The reason I'm giving it three stars is because today I did receive an email from the Rrazz Room letting us know what had happened and apologized for the inconvenience. I appreciated that. However, beyond that I would not return based on the extremely slow service and high drink prices.

They've an impressive range of flavors, and I try to always try a flavor that I've not had in a long time, however I need to have my chocolate cherry more often than not. It's also very common to see people walking along the counter to pick their flavors. If you haven't made a decision, and the people behind you in line know what they want, do the right thing and let them go first. They give healthy scoops, and one scoop, although it doesn't sound like much, might be enough for someone with less post-dinner space available in their belly. If it's your first time visiting, watch the scoops being given to the person in front of you before making your decision. As an added bonus, during Spring and Summer Saturday nights, they have live music in the room as well. It's a cheap, fun date.

They keep leaving the boxes of ice cream on top of the counters to restock and then serve long lines of customers. This makes the ice cream very melty and causes freezer burn. Halo Pub does not allow tastes anymore so when they are out of your family's favorite flavors, it is a blind guess as to what to order. The hot fudge is delicious, but hard to enjoy when they give so little and the ice cream starts out melty. I hope the management will start listening to customer feedback and fix the stocking issues. The staff says that they request more stock of popular flavors, but don't get them. Lastly, the bathroom is nasty.

Richardson Auditorium is a total hidden gem on the Princeton University Campus. The amazing…read morearchitecture, high ceilings, carvings and art that adorns building are just amazing. The venue seats 891 people. I recently saw Sō Percussion JACK Quartet, a free performance offered by the University. This group was performing the following week at Carnegie Hall and I was fortunate to see some of the new material they would be playing at Carnegie. The acoustics and sound are wonderful. A wide variety of events, concerts, lectures and musical artists perform here throughout the year. Upon occasion, there may be a dance or theatrical production.

I was there for an orchestral music concert, SCORES, which is this annual collaboration between NJSO and the Cone Institute in Princeton. Summary: Unique venue, great volunteers, questionable ethics of the owner, and underpays artists…read more It is NOT a registered non-profit organization, despite what they claim! It is a unique venue that is good for small performances. The volunteer staff there is AMAZING - making artists and customers very comfortable and building a strong sense of community. I couldn't say enough good things about the unpaid volunteers who work there. A few serious problems with ownership of the venue, however: - Though they position themselves as "non-profit" they are NOT actually a registered nonprofit organization. - It is almost completely volunteer run... and those volunteers do it for the love of music and are unpaid (which doesn't seem fair given the ticket revenue). - The artists are offered a flat fee for performances (I've seen ~$500). - Ticket prices run $30-$60... and most events get sold out. At 70 seats, this means that they make at least $2500 per event (even after transaction fees). - This means that the owner is likely making $1500+ per show after overhead costs... (as mentioned, the volunteers are unpaid and it is positioned as a "nonprofit") On top of this, they solicit donations on their website... AND they actually pass a bucket around during shows, aggressively seeking "donations" to cover their costs (even though their costs are clearly covered by ticket prices). Since they are not an official nonprofit organization, they are not required to be transparent about where the donations and income from tickets go. In summary: the owner positions it as a "nonprofit"... but it appears that he is making SIGNIFICANT profit off the backs of the artists who perform and the VOLUNTEERS who work there. Nothing illegal about this - but it does appear to have ethical challenges. Recommendations: - Before donating, ask for details and records for how the money will be used - and get it in writing - If you donate, understand that it will NOT be tax deductible - If you are an artist considering performing there... DO NOT ACCEPT A SIMPLE FLAT FEE. Demand a ticket split in addition to the flat fee - and GET IT IN WRITING.

Deliver food to a table. Unbunch some bananas and fruits and place them in a some baskets. Very very organized. I have met so many people that help out once a month. My two hour shift went by quickly and I met so many kindhearted fellow volunteers. I would definitely do it again. My heart overflows.
